He is super professional and friendly. While I went shopping with Josh to make sure the right flooring I wanted was picked, they were able to get a crew out the same day to start demolition. The next day the crew came and started working on the flooring and baseboards. Eric is super courteous by the way he greets and communicates with us. Jordan and Eric went to town making sure the flooring was completed by the end of the day. Overall, for the time frame the job was completed the amount we paid was very reasonable. Took over 3 years to finally get my building to me. Years 1 and 2 we had trouble with scheduling,…read morethey always had a window for installation that didn't give me time to align with them. Year 3 we finally could get a window for installation but I was informed that I needed a permit (which I didn't need before). I went through the county for the permit process and more information was needed. The county wanted detailed plans from the manufacturer. When I reached back to American Carports it was explained to me that I needed to pay for those detailed plans. I ended up just having the material delivered and doing the installation myself. I am an engineer's son, so the installation paperwork they gave me was generic. The only positive was that most of the pieces were pre-cut but no detailed plans to tell me where the pieces went. I also noticed when the material was dropped off that there wasn't enough material to completely enclose my carport. After talking to a rep on the phone it was determined that the dealer didn't order my carport correctly after I explained multiple times that I wanted it enclosed. Now, I'm having to order pieces to fully enclose and costing me extra money I did not plan for. In the ordering process there should have been more done to make sure the order made sense. Why would someone order a roll-up door and exterior door with no siding? American Carports takes no responsibility in the matter and shifts blame to the dealer. Even for the miscommunication/misunderstanding, they did not offer any kind of assistance with extra cost after I explained the situation. This experience has been completely frustrating. If i could give negative stars I would. Would I recommend this company to a friend or family member? NO!

There was some things that they also messed up at my house that they're refusing to fix until the remaining balance of the water feature is paid off. They will take money off the bottom line total of it, but they won't actually pay for it now to be done now. Common sense lesson number one... When you drill a hole into something you need to make sure you know what is on the other side as what goes in usually comes back out. Carelessly they drilled an electrical box to our shed and on the other side of it was our camping tent, which they put holes in because they drilled through it. But they won't pay for a new tent right now. He said he'll take a little bit off our balance unless I want to pay it in full and then replaThat is BS. My husband fixed it half a dozen of their mistakes and not so much of a discount or anything for any of the stuff that my husband did for them that he should've not had to do especially for the amount of money that we paid! Way too many mistakes and sadly, Mike didn't even catch them. Like our Cabo area was not the right size plus the stairs were too short and both were caught by us rather then Mike. I have so many pictures of mistakes and things that were just careless mistakes that even I could fix or do right. And I really hated to put all this out here because I wanted it to go so smoothly with this. I actually didn't complain about any of the mistakes until the very end and then was not going to post any of them until he said he's not gonna fix what he did until I do something for him. They messed up our RV parking gravel with putting a bunch of dirt on the gravel for their equipment, but won't send anybody out to do anything about it until he's paid in full. I really wish he would have not let it get to this and at least fixed the gravel area and replaced our tent (at the very least). The countless mistakes that were made is unfortunate and I think all due to unsupervised workers and a few other things but I will leave that out of here at this time.
