If you are looking to enjoy a sail on the ocean Pacific Marine Charters is the charter to book. Captain Bill and Captain Glenn are top notch professionals. We emailed Captain Bill several weeks in advance to plan our sail for our family of six. He responded in a timely manner and we booked a sunset sail. He sent a detailed email on where they were located, where to park, where to meet and what we could bring. We brought a charcuterie board and some wine. Captain Glenn met us in the parking lot and we went down to board the beautiful Summer Wind. Captain Glenn went through a quick safety briefing and we were off. Once out in the water we sailed around and came upon a pod of dolphins that sailed along the side of the boat along with a few sea lions. We then circled a buoy that had sea lions on it to sleep for the night. We watched the sunset and then headed back in. It was a perfect sail tour with a great captain. Highly recommend! Pacific Marine Charters is the only charter that I will book in the San Diego area. I got a warm welcome aboard the Bella Vita and even got to take a swing at steering the wheel! A+ experience with Captain Bill and Captain Glenn. We had about 10 people in our group so we split up onto 2 boats. The captains made sure to keep our boats in close proximity so we could get lots of good pics and even talk to the people on the other boat. We encountered dozens of dolphins and sea lions on our trip-- there are several other captains in the PMC group that all communicate with each other to share locations of the dolphins so you are sure to see some! They also do seasonal whale-watching trips so we will certainly be returning for that. Meanwhile on the boat, they allow guests to bring food and drinks (including alcohol), and yes there is a bathroom. The captains took plenty of pictures of our groups which they later e-mailed to us. Oh, and they even let us take turns at the wheel driving the boat! Can't thank Captains Bill and Glenn enough for a very fun and memorable experience. This past weekend was the second outing my family had with Captain Bill. We took my mom and her boyfriend out for an early Mothers Day on the water. Where do I start? My wife and our two friends went Whale Watching with Pacific Marine Charters on their La Belle Vita sail/motor boat yesterday. We saw a couple of whales too!
