I had a phone interview that went well and I was looking forward to this as the reviews regarding the caregivers have looked promising online. My review is regarding my phone experience. I received 2 forms on 2/27 which were 97% completed; however, we had a family emergency and had to call 911 for an ambulance so I was spread thin. On Friday, March 6th, I received a follow-up call from Corinne, and I sincerely apologized to her as I was at the hospital saying my goodbyes as the patient felt like they were about to passaway that day, and Corinne told me "well this is your final follow-up. If we don't have the forms by Monday, 3/9, you'll have to find another provider. I WAS ONLY DELAYED BY 5 BUSINESS DAYS?! No empathy whatsoever from a care service. I'm happy to look elsewhere if that's how you treat people needing help. read more

I'm giving Pacific Homecare 5 stars because I am soon to be an employee and I provide excellent care. HOWEVER, (and I hope someone from the company sees this) the onboarding process to work for this company is an absolute NIGHTMARE -- and it doesn't have to be. The way it's been laid out is totally backwards and I have been onboarding for FIVE WEEKS!! AND IM STILL NOT DONE!! It's 100% garbage, throw it away and start over. Don't make families wait for care. Create a system that doesn't make people pay out of pocket, miss work, drive hours out of the way, call and email numerous times to elicit and response. Do better. read more

I used to really like this company a lot until they let me go because of some false information that wasn't true. I went back to reapply again and they basically told me I can never. work for them ever again it even giving me a chance or anything at all, just going off of some false information that was even true at all. I did love working for the respite because of the patients o had and stuff for sure that was the best part of my job but other than that I wouldn't recommend it at all. I still work for the EPR department because I have a client that still wanted me and requested me but other than that I can't basically do anything else. This is very said and unfortunate but it's whatever and I just won't ever work for them again at all. read more

We have had services since March 2024 for my older brother and it's been a lifesaver. From the caretakers and staff, they've all been exceptional. The care, communications, and flexibility is outstanding. I had never heard of PHC before but now I gladly refer anyone who may be in need. Their professional services allow my brother to remain in a home environment versus a hospital or SNF. I am not sure what I would do without the services of Pacific Home Care. read more

My son has Autism and I was always referred from Alta Regional to get a provider to watch/spend time with him 4 hours a week. I was really timid at first on if my son will do well getting to know someone new. Years later as my son has gotten older I wanted him to have more social skills. He tends to stay in his room often and I wanted him to get out of his room more. Pacific Homecare Services assigned me to a great provider. She is always there on time. She got my son out of his confront zone to come out of his room more and even started learning to play card games. He is always looking forward to his visits from his provider. I will definitely recommend these services. read more

Our caregiver is amazing with our son and he looks forward to her visits. She has been wonderfully communicative at all times and I can see she tries hard to meet all her clients needs so I am happy to work with her when another parent has an emergency - I don't know how she juggles it all but I still always feel like a priority. The staff is also very easy to reach and a pleasure to work with, and they often check up on me if I haven't reached out in a while. It is easy to get extra help, when necessary, and the timesheet process could not be easier. With so many other aspects of my son's OT needs being laborious to traverse and taking up so much of my time with administration, I truly appreciate that this is literally the most hassle-free service with an incalculable benefit to me, my son, and the rest of the family. read more

I've been working for Pacific Homecare Services for about 4 years, I can honestly say it's one of my best jobs. I've never worked for a more appreciative organization. The president Leticia Robles sends out Monday Motivation, sometimes you just need that little boost to get you through the day/ week. The district managers, office staff etc... are all so easy to work with, as a provider I feel very appreciated. When you're appreciated as an employee, the better the employee you are. Update to my review the company is good the services are very important & needed for people families such as myself my only problem is the inhome care providers they start out great and then slack no call no show or doing less than professional or courteous I've been through 7 providers and I don't require much just someone to be a freind for my aubrey and give me a little break I feel like they need to do better provider back ground employment checks and testing on caring for special needs children and treat this job as they would any other be on time if you can't make it call in a timely manner and while working keep doing the job like you did when you first started. Now I'm looking forward provider number 8 mind you I cook clean and don't request my providers to do any of those things it's a part/part time job I don't understand the flakes read more

I have been working with Pacific HomeCare Services for a couple of months. I have amazing clients and their families are kind and wonderful. The families inform me what days and times they need me and I let them know my availability. This all helps me manage my own monthly schedule. If they have an emergency or if I have an emergency we comunicante it right away, so that we don't miss any hours and can make them up another day. Families are always needing respite care through PHS, so if you need extra hours just let your placement manager know. My placement manager and coordinator are super caring they are always reaching out to me to check in to ask if I feel comfortable with all of my clients and if I need more or less hours. If I need more hours I let them know my availability and they connect me with a potential client. For a while, I wanted to complete my CPR/First Aid certification and with PHS I had the opportunity to complete an Adult, Child and Infant First Aid/CPR/AED certification for free. I have enjoyed being a caregiver for Pacific HomeCare Services everything has been going well. Communication is key, so if there is communication between the families, the caregivers and the managers everything should run smoothly. read more
