We received the motor and installed it and the engine had a bad rod knocking in the motor. I called the Albany yard and asked Antonio why they did not check out the motor before selling it he had no answers. I asked him to reimburse my company at least the labor for the techs time. He said they do not pay labor and i said you never checked out the motor before selling it and i need some help and he said NO. So i called Brian at GNR in Troutdale that we use a lot to see if he could help us and he said NO as well. So buyer beware before you purchase anything from any of their yards and be specific to ask them if they check any items before purchasing or better yet DO NOT buy from them.

Was told 1-2 weeks. 5 hours later I was told it was done and to come pick it up. They had a guy knock it out because he didn't have a huge work load. Perfectly built, balanced and painted. I had a triple a tow truck driver tell me I needed a new battery. I wasn't so sure so I took my 27 yr old ford escort to Clemens. I said I wanted them to figure out the battery issue & I wanted an oil change. Well they tried to sell me a brand new Napa battery for $220 and when I balked, they got weird. I said I wasn't going to have the car much longer so why would I want to spend that kind of money on a battery. I said I'd get a battery & bring it there for them to install. they said okay. I took them the battery & expected the oil change to be done & I could take my car. Wrong! They had still not done the oil change & their reason was that they couldn't do it if the car had a dead battery. I thought since they were an auto repair shop that they could figure out how to do an oil change on a car that needed a battery, like use a battery that they keep on hand just for this reason. But no I had to leave my car over the weekend. when it still wasn't ready on Mon evening I was pissed. I said just install the battery, forget the oil change. they'd had my car for 3 days & done nothing, then they charged me $60 to install the battery, saying that they really should have charged me the full diagnostic charge which is $120.00. Wow what a ripoff place!
