From what I understand, it usually takes 1-2 weeks to prepare for an estate sale, but our friend was a major hoarder, and so it took well over a month to prepare! My husband and I were there during the sale, and so we met a lot of people who are avid followers of Mario and Mary. They are clearly well respected, which was one of the reasons I chose them to do this estate sale in the first place. I met them by going to a couple of other estate sales they were in charge of. The work here was difficult. 3 levels of everything imaginable. I never heard one complaint, and I witnessed first hand the dedication and respect that they bring with them while doing their work. I came in contact with Monarch about a year ago, and initially kept one of their brochures for when my Mom passes (knowing I would need the help). Now having worked with them in this process, they will be the only ones I call for help when the time comes. I could not ask for a better company (and I interviewed several) to partner with during a time like this. Thank you Mario and Mary - so much. When I asked for a bill of sale or even a basic receipt, the owner refused to give me one. Instead, she handed all the paperwork to someone else who picked up the car--someone she appears to have a personal relationship with. It seems the bill of sale may have even been issued in his name, despite me being the actual buyer. When I followed up and asked her for a copy of the bill of sale, she told me to never contact her again, accused me of being "crazy," and then claimed she no longer has any record of the transaction because she deleted everything six months after the sale. That is not only completely irresponsible but raises serious concerns about the legitimacy and legality of how she operates. This was not just unprofessional--it was shady, hostile, and possibly fraudulent. I've been left with no documentation, no proof of purchase, and no support whatsoever. Stay far away from this business. Do not trust them with your money or your property.

I had the day off from work and decided to spend it doing one of my absolute favorite hobbies: antique shopping. I happened to check EstateSales.net the night prior, spotted the Rialto listing, and off I went. First of all, the signage leading to the house was incredibly helpful. Even the information posted at the front entrance was clear and made it easy to understand how the sale worked before walking in. Once I stepped inside, though, the organization completely won me over. As someone who LOVES things organized, I was in heaven. Everything was clearly labeled with a price, additional signs helped identify sections like miscellaneous picture frames and knickknacks, the walking paths were open and easy to navigate, and there was even a clearly designated area for holding items while you continued shopping. It was organized beautifully without taking away from the fun of digging through an estate sale. But the best part of the experience was meeting Ruth, who was helping customers and ringing up purchases. She was genuinely kind, helpful, positive, and such a pleasure to talk to, especially that early in the morning. She answered my questions, gave me helpful information about different items, and even shared a few tips and tricks along the way. I left with a very successful antique haul and drove home ridiculously excited to figure out where I'm going to put everything. Does my house currently have room for any of it? Absolutely not. Will I figure it out later? Absolutely. Wonderful estate sale, beautiful organization, and fantastic customer service. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for Another Room's future sales.

I just moved into an apartment and was looking for affordable necessities for my place and stumbled across here, drawn by the promise of furniture 60-80% off retail price and I was not disappointed. Jeff and his team are courteous and reasonable to work with. Now the reason why I say it is the 'Costco of Yard Sales' is because standard Yard Sale etiquette applies here. Unless the item has a label (usually furniture pieces and large appliances, as well as the more expensive items) its price point is at retail and then halved. From that point it's up to you to work up that sweet deal with Jeff for a bundle or so on and so forth. The items that are here are liquidated from the main retail centers, and considering its location near shipping centers such as Amazon and others, there is quite a treasure trove of things to come across. Again, I tout the the title because it's as organized as a standard yard sale, it's basically a menagerie of similar items on industrial shelves (the warehouse aesthetic) for you to spend time on finding that one item, so it's not necessarily recommended for one that needs a very specific item, but if you have a ballpark idea of what you want, I recommend coming here before looking on Amazon since you'll get it way cheaper here. Do wear comfortable shoes and watch your step as you venture around the store-there's a lot of furniture that are in the midst of being constructed so just keep that in mind if you would like to spend time and wander around. Otherwise, don't hesitate to ask questions about things, and check the place out. You'll definitely feel like a champ coming out with an amazing deal at the end.
