That evening I searched for a new Dahon Flo (Ritchey Breakaway) frame in order to rebuild something just as good or better and found a long-leftover (probably) 2011 demo model of the Dahon Flo bike (the last year it was built, I believe) for sale in Olney Illinois from ThorUSA.com for 1/2 price! But when it arrived with a bent frame, making it unrideable since the axle and quick release wouldn't fit into the narrowed dropout at all, I was despondent, fearing my likely last chance at rebuilding the bike I loved had just disappeared. However, ThorUSA rapidly asked what could be done to make things right, agreed to send me a brand new frame to exchange for the bent one, and shipped it within a couple days! Now the new frame is here and I'm working on the rebuild. Also just ordered an Aber Hallo Stem from ThorUSA as well for my wife's bike, to help out her back. Thor has been great! I'll be watching the web site for parts from now on, and hope to stop by the shop in Olney Illinois the next time we're riding through the Midwest! Our entire family ride Dahons and a Tern since all our vacations are biking vacations and folding bikes are the easiest way to travel with bikes. And folding bikes are the ThorUSA specialty.

Bear in mind, this is a 100 dollar bike, just for getting around town. I was quoted 75 DOLLARS for a simple tune up AND ANOTHER 30 for a new chain. I feel completely f@#$ed over, and i will never darken their door to be offended by their overpricing again. In fact, with prices like these, I hope with everything in me that both of their locations go out of business.

He does about 50 bikes of the athletes before they ride. He is thorough and good at what he does. He is also donating his time during his busiest point of the year. He mentioned he was at the shop last night till 10pm as he knew he would be tied up this morning.
