Hawaiis only free public city and county shooting range…read more Located little past hanauma bay on the left (If you headed toward sandy beach) The archery range is right as you come in on your right...right next to it is the silhoutte range (Any pistol caliber and rifles 22 LR Only) It cost $5 to shoot. Next to the silhoutte range is the rifle range You must bring your own wooden frame more info on their website) sorry couldnt post link. And then the pistol range is farthest from the entrance.(you also need your own frame) I believe you can either reserve a spot online or just walk in. Most of the times mu friend took me there was no wait and I did not make reservations. My friend said early morning is busy..lunch time usually slow. Most of The staff is real cool and friendly. Besides needing your own frame you will also need eye and ear protection. Just follow the safety protcols and be safe.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! Are you shopping for a Basic Pistol Class or advance training? 5 & 7 is the only choice. My son has taken three different courses while my wife and I took this one. Now the majority of my family has been taught by this establishment's professional and experienced instructors. I have nothing but good things to say. Well worth every penny and minute.

There were 2 parts to the Basic Pistol Safety Course. There was classroom time and range time. David and Joey was very thorough with the information that they taught during the classroom time. They did so good that it made everyone feel confident that they can pass the test at the end of the classroom time and everyone did pass! David and Joey was also very good instructors during the range time. We were able to shoot at different distances. During the shooting, we were able to pick and choose which pistol we want to shoot. I was very pleased that they had a Glock 19 because that is the pistol that I'm looking to get in the future and was glad that I was able to get a feel for it. Overall, I would definitely recommend them if you're looking to get into firearms! I'm for sure taking my daughter to them in the future when she gets a little older!

We did not have a good experience here :(…read more First of all, finding this location put us on guard. The neighborhood is sketch. According to their website, $50 membership is required. This establishment typically has customers that bring their own firearm so then there is a lane fee of $25. Also on their website, they offer a discount on the lane fee if you go a certain day, certain time, and show your Hawaii ID. Well we went there meeting all three criteria but didn't get the discount as advertised. Kinda sucked but oh well. After we signed the required forms, the guy had us pick out the target sheets we wanted. Then we were required to watch a safety video, which we couldn't hear loud and clear because of people talking around us. The employee then told us about the two door entry way to the lanes and being mindful not to let the noise get into the showroom. We picked a lane and laid our rifle bag on the bench. Strangely, the bench started rolling forward into the lane which didn't seem safe so we moved to another lane. We got our firearms situated on the bench that didn't roll and then tried to hang our target sheet but it was missing a clip and the cardboard was very worn, so we moved to another lane. There were empty shells all over the floor, maybe we were expected to sweep up after others but no one said anything. We shot up all the ammunition we purchased and then we were so ready to leave, disappointed. Of all the discrepancies, the main reason for this 1 star review was an intentional hazard caused by a young employee with arrogance. From the moment we walked into the showroom, he did not want to serve us. Since the only other employee was already with a customer, this young guy reluctantly came to our lane when I asked him nicely to show us loading our new shotgun. After he loaded the shotgun, he left the range. It wouldn't shoot so I went back to the showroom to look for him. As if he KNEW that something bad would happen, the young guy was NOWHERE to be found. So I waited patiently for the only other employee to finish his customer. Guess what, the shotgun shell was jammed! The older employee needed to retrieve a tool from the showroom to safely dislodge it! God forbid an explosion happened. To the young guy who loaded the shotgun incorrectly and intentionally caused risk of harm, I pray for you. Whatever causes your arrogance and ill intent, may God release you from all that and forgive you. This is not the kind of business that needs bad employees. We do not want anything like this dangerous episode to happen to anyone. We did not enjoy this experience. There was a serious lack of personnel and communication. We were put in an unsafe situation.

SWAT Gun Club is on Royal Hawaiian Ave. Not to be confused with the shopping center for parking. Do your research for parking options in Waikiki. The place we parked did not have anyone to validate parking during the early afternoon. Check in is easy! You sign the waiver form, provide your ID, pick the package you want to shoot, pick the target you want to use (we opted for the t-shirt), then you pay, and acknowledge the safety checklist. We were provided with sanitized ear and eye safety coverings. From the very clean storefront, you pass through two doors to get to their indoor range. There, we were greeted by Titus who was extremely knowledgeable and incredibly professional. He truly made this a fun and safe experience for us! Giving them 5 stars because: 1. Very safe environment - all the pieces in our two packages were clean. We had a 22 cal rifle, 38 cal revolver, 9mm Glock 17, 45 cal Glock 21, a 44 Magnum, 9mm semi auto rifle, and an AR-15. Titus fully explained the proper handling and loading of each piece. 2. Great customer service - Thank you Titus for your time amd expertise. After we experienced an unsafe incident at another indoor range with the opposite of great, we like this place better. By leaps and bounds better!

OGC has also partnered with High Roller Guns in Vegas and they have a website with a ton of different manufacturers to choose from. I couldn't find the brand I wanted locally so online I went. It couldn't be simpler. Look for what you are looking for, pay for it online and then have them send it to OGC. The day OGC got it in hand, I get a call from Brad. I go down, confirm the item and get the purchase receipt from him. Take the receipt to HPD, jump through their hoops, wait the 14 days, go back to HPD to get your permit to acquire and off you go back to OGC to pick it up. When I went back to OGC, Brad was there to assist me and was total professional and guided me through the necessary form for the transfer fee. Paid the fee, double checked the serial numbers, and I got my item in hand. Now back to HPD to register it. I just want to say that Brad was super friendly and professional and it's because of this, and the simplicity of going online to get what you want, that I will go back to OGC. They (High Roller Guns) also have ammo for sale and that gets shipped free without credit card fees. So if you check online weekly, you will find the caliber you want and so long as you can wait a week or two for it to come in, they have the best deals in town. The ammo gets shipped straight to OGC.

Eric was nothing but passive aggressive and rude the entire time I was there browsing guns. Even pressured me into ordering one gun from their shop from out of state and got annoyed when I said I didn't want it. Then I get rung up by Eric. I looked at the receipt and he rung me up for something more expensive and that I didn't want. On top of that there's a 3 percent card fee of which he did not specify at all. adding a nice $30 to the bill on top of that. After I ask him what's up with the price and that wasn't the thing I wanted, he raises his voice and gets upset. I decided to just grab my item and leave. I won't be ordering anything from here unless Eric isn't working there anymore. Unfortunately he'll be able to do whatever since he's buddy buddy with the owners.

Also, if the fitting room is closed, can't they put the sign off the only mirrors?? How is anyone suppose to look and see if a shirt looks good on them if the only mirrors are blocked by a piece of paper at eye level???? It was so annoying. I know you can't try the clothes but it's nice to hold it in front of you just to see. Oh my goodness. Not a fan of this target location.
