After a very frustrating time of trying to work with friends to get my marine boyfriend moved, I…read moredecided to just go ahead and work with some professional movers. I had a very limited timeline to get the items moved out of the apartment at this point. I did a search for movers in Oceanside on Google and then on Yelp and saw the good review for Ponceco, so I decided to give them a call. Michael picked up the phone immediately and said he had an opening a couple days later. This worked out perfectly for me. Michael is very helpful and friendly. I asked him for a suggestion for someone to clean the apartment and he was even able to suggest someone to help me with that. They were able to move the majority of the contents of my bf's one bedroom apartment for $250 since I was just moving the items down the street to a storage unit. The two movers sent out, called me to let me know that they were on their way and they arrived promptly at the apartment. They efficently and carefully moved the items in the truck. They had lots of blankets in the truck to protect the items, which I appreciated. We got to the storage unit and since it was my first time actually going to the unit I was a little confused about where it actually was in the facility. They helped me find it. Since I had only rented a small storage unit, to make everything fit they suggested that they could remove the legs to the pub table. I found the box with some of the tools and they did this for me. They made everything fit just right so I didn't have to worry about not having enough space. They were so careful with the items. I am beyond happy with this company and would recommend them to all my family and friends. Thanks for a great customer service experience!!

I have nothing but positive remarks For this company!…read more When moving things from one city to another, Things can get pretty hectic. This was the case for me. Moving just a couch, TV and TV stand was a headache in itself. deciding whether or not to rent a U-haul and do it myself or hire a company. Calculating a self move, costs for a one way truck move from LA, fuel for my vehicle and the truck and my sweat was $400.00. I decided this was way too much. When looking into standard moving companies, they were all asking for about $800 and up. Ridiculous for 3 items to be shipped. So browsing the net I came across Uship.com. I saw Ponceco was a local company operating in Southern CA. I called them up and spoke with Michael. He stated for the 3 items he could do it for 220 cause he was already in the LA area that day. Needless to say I opted in on this deal. Pick up was smooth and quick according to my sister in LA. They arrived around 11 in the morning and packed up everything quickly. She said it was maybe 15/20 minutes to pick everything up and be on their way. Communication with Michael was constant. When delivering they brought everything in making sure not to damage any of the belongings. Shortly after they delivered Michael called me to ensure everything went smooth and according to plan. This Company gets 5 Stars!

It ended up costing more, but we felt it was understandable because the amount of debris didn't seem to translate well through the pictures. Which is perhaps why some businesses prefer to give the quote in person. They explained that they would have to do the job in two hauls, which cost them money per haul to dispose. They communicated promptly and showed up at the agreed time. They were careful when removing the debris. Overall, we're very satisfied with their service!

He was helpful and outlined numerous options to chose from and was keen to get our service up and running. He educated us on the options of leasing equipment and the types of phone systems that would be suitable for our current and future needs. I contacted them and within 24 hours, they were out at our place giving us a quote and then hauling everything away on the spot. We paid $349 for 2 truckloads (like a large pick-up truck, not one of their trucks) worth of stuff to be hauled away. It seemed like a lot of money, but it was so worth it for the convenience of not having to make multiple trips to the dump. If we were to have it done it ourselves, it would have cost us at least $100 in disposal fees. On top of that, the 2-person team who came out were very polite and got the job done quickly. Just a heads up-- if you are paying by credit/debit, you can add a tip if you don't have any cash lying around.
