We ended up coming here to do a PPT since it was in the middle for both of us. Finished everything and on the way home got a call there was a small error on the paperwork , luckily they were able to fix it on their end. Fast forward to this last experience, Took my 2.0 in for a port/window and Cerakote job. Was given 2-3 week time frame. Messaged them 2 weeks in to get an update and see if it was possibly ready. Responses I got made me feel unsure what was going on but just let it be and decided to wait for them to follow up for my pick up. 7 weeks passed by and I had not received any update or heard from them so I decided to send a text. Turns out my gun had been ready. Went to pick it up, and they gave it back to me completely disassembled (springs, cover plate, etc.) with the parts in a bag. I Asked if they don't put it back together since I brought it all put together and they had taken it apart. Employee said a gun smith just came in so he can ask them. Other employee at front asked which gun it was then said he would do it because gunsmith doesn't work on that. Began to work on it then said he realized it was my order and mentioned how there was something with the Cerakote being super thick and that a part wasn't sitting right and ended up having to take it to the back. Brings it back out together which is when I saw how the screw wasn't sitting flush and looked like maybe it was stripped. He took it to the back again and fixed it. (I noticed the sights were also scuffed up a bit but didn't even want to bother with it at that point) Only reason I'm doing 2 stars is because I liked the cerakote and port/window job. (Yelp won't let me organize the order of the images so I numbered the order on the picture)

The 1-star rating comes from my experience at the gun counter to receive my certificate. I waited close to 45 minutes despite the store being almost empty. And during this 45-minute wait, one of the employees behind the gun counter flagged me and another gentleman multiple times while handling a 9mm pistol! This is unacceptable, especially since it was an employee. NEVER point a firearm at anything or anyone you are not willing to destroy, and it does not matter if it was accidental. One of the 4 basic safety rules of handling firearms and a Turner's employee working the gun counter broke that rule. If a manager of Turner's is reading this, please reach out to me. I would love to identify this employee for you.

I went to my local Turners outdoorsman looking for an alternative option for an old Weaver scope on a 1960s Remington model 722 I was able to purchase a vortex triumph for a great deal, but the assistance of Mr. Mike was greatly appreciated because of how difficult it was to fit a brand new aeroscope onto an older style Remington. He was able to quickly assess what we may need for an adapter as well as the hardware needed to mount the scope. He was able to mount the scope to my Remington for me. Same visit. I saw a sign that says to use the back door as an entrance. I was a bit cautious and then I saw these two chihuahua dogs. One of them had a cute little security dog uniform on. There's even little couches for them. I went in and looked around in amazement. I met with Steve, and he told me that the dogs are just part of security and not to worry about them. The dogs aren't vicious, and one of them allowed me to pet them. Steve and I talked about several weapons, and Steve was incredibly knowledgeable on weapons and the laws in the U.S. I told Steve that I have a history of suicidal ideation as an autistic woman, so a gun is probably not the best option for me. If you've never been in a Bass Pro Shop, it's all hunting and fishing gear. They sell guns, fishing poles, men's and women's clothing, and everything else you would need in terms of outdoor gear at affordable prices. The store is decorated with a bunch of taxidermies throughout. A lot of busts on the wall, near the entrance. Staff greet you at the entrance. They are available at the various counters throughout the store, and at the registers. There's plenty of free parking.

I then was trying to inquire about a Ruger mark 4 and he was rude about how they have them but won't sell them but can order them. I still don't understand what he meant other than out of stock maybe? Anyway. Another customer came up behind me and asked this man a question and he scolded the customer and said he was with me, he was not and dragged me into it for some reason. He eventually got rid of the prospect and I proceeded to tell him I didn't want or need his help and to help the man he ignored. Instead he called up the next person in queue. Ironically enough, an employee was going off on a phone or radio about giving the best customer satisfaction possible lol. I almost said something to him but he was so hyped and happy, unlike mr grumps at the gun counter. Aside from that and what drove me away from purchasing a new firearm that day, the guys working Ammo and the fishing department were amazing. I came back after the waiting period for the pickup, and Jeff helped me out with that. While helping me with the pickup, Jeff mentioned that they also have a rental store at Mike Raahauge's Shooting Range, which I didn't know about. They have guns there that you can rent and try before purchasing, which I think is a really nice option, especially if it's your first gun purchase and you want to get a feel for something before committing to it.
