Walking in, you are immediately ensconced in the Hong Kong classic elite lifestyle. Any antiques you see are authentic, and this particular lounge offers a full drink menu, from tea served in classic services to delicious Whisky Sours and everything in between. Pick a chair ... any chair (they're all equally comfortable) ... and settle right in. You may ask for the wifi password up at the reception desk before you do, however. :-) I only found this place on the day I'm taking off to go back home, but I'll definitely be back here on my next visit to Hong Kong. Love it!

Red Chamber has always been my "go-to" cigar divan in Central…read more And the reasons are quite obvious: - comfortable seating; - very knowledgeable staff who can give good recommendations on cigars and the pairings....based on the kind of flavor/finish you're looking for; - quality and variety of cigars is always excellent - conveniently located in the heart of Central... so it's in close proximity to pretty much all the offices/malls in Central and other nearby areas - And to make the experience even nicer....soft and mellow music is always playing in the background that you can barely hear...and me thinks that's just perfect for a cigar divan.m OVERALL these factors make up for a perfectly relaxing cigar experience .

The ITEMS SHOWCASED IN THE ENTRY AREA of the store mostly contains the "non-cigar" stuff such as Humidors, handcrafted Ashtrays, Lighters, Punch-cutters and other cutters, bottles of Cognacs, Single malt scotch, etc. They are well-arranged and definitely add to the overall aesthetics of the store. Whenever I step into the store, I always take a moment to admire these amazing works-of-art, in case I find something interesting! In fact, that's how I bought the amazing glass-blown Ashtray (see attached pics). The REAL STUFF lies in the room behind the cashier counter, i.e. WHERE THE CIGARS ARE STORED. The constantly-running dehumidifier always reassures me that - "yes, these cigars would always be in their best condition". That's where you can pick the cigars and evaluate them... during this time, the staff are also happy to field any questions regarding the strength, flavor/notes, enjoyment time, etc. They always remind me whether I want to earn the reward points or rather use existing points to settle the bill. I've benefitted from those points many a times! Always happy to visit this store.

I go to Wan Chai at least once a week for my language course nearby, however, whenever I have time,…read moreI always wander around and spend time at a café shop. Little did I know that I might stumble upon this gem when I was on my way to the Café Pacific inside Shui On Centre. As I was taking the escalator to the second floor, I could not help but notice on my left was this colourful store that had stuffed animals, school bags, books on display and I was like "That looks cool". And it only got better. Turns out this place is called Bookazine and it has branches everywhere in Hong Kong. As a bookstore, Bookazine of course provides selection of magazines, stationery. However, the best part is that it has CANDY STAND there and the variety of candies there are unbelievable, most are from the States and I immediately acted like a school boy literally in a candy store grabbing all kind of sweet. Apart from that, they always have tote bags, greet cards, etc. On top of that, they also have kids corner (which is really thoughtful as the grownups are reading, the kids can read some children books or choose to relax throwing beanbags there). They mainly sell English books so now you have one more place to go to look for your books except Metro and the other one. On their website you may also order books there and have the delivery or pickup at the store as well. I would say that this is one of the best bookstores I have seen in Hong Kong with its superb service and most importantly, the candy stand... Actually I am quite surprised to have found this place as it is really hidden and I did not see one single customer there when I was there on that day... well, good for me to spend some alone time there then.

Great job, great materials, great people, just do your research on what you want ahead of time! Make sure to tell them Alex sent you for a better deal ;). I ordered 5 shirts from these guys and the only reason I am giving a 4/5 is because they partially got my order wrong (asked for the back of my shirt to be box style, but got darts). However I am glad because the darts do indeed look much better, just not what was originally asked for. All that being said, Shaniel is very nice. This is a family owned business that a father and son runs and they are very kind and are willing to work together with you for a product that you will like. They are right next to Sam's however I would say you are getting the same quality for better service at a better price. Know your materials, and know what styles you want before hand. They can only show you examples, but you yourself must know what you want. Their turn over for producing a shirt was much faster as they were ready the next day, and small fixes were even available the same day. They were very friendly and talkative so I felt a sense of higher transparency while going through this process. Don't be afraid to ask questions and tell them if something isn't how you want it to be! They were very willing to work together with me. Be prepared to go for multiple fittings!
