Produce is out of this world with variety. Dry goods, deli made, made to order! They even have a sit-down restaurant with authentic menu items. The most surprising was the Philippine Airlines booth. You can stock up on groceries and book a ticket to Manila. We are from out of town so a cooler to keep frozen items is a must! We will be using three coolers one for produce, one for frozen items, and one for bakery or hot items. Service is a bit slow. Crowds are overpoweringly large. Lines are long. Expect grumpy customers and employees which we have encountered almost every time. If you want ethnicity, food variety, people watching, delicious treats, it's all here.

If there are specific Filipino brands you want, this is the spot. Not to mention the Grill City,…read morecafeteria style, hot food area. Weekend crowds can be nuts. Righteous egg prices. Some items are priced better than 99 Ranch. You really have to be selective about what you shop if you are price conscious. Canola and corn oil can be almost twice as much as Safeway or QFC. They definitely specialize in Filipino goods, so you won't a lot of items you might find at 99 Ranch, Uwajimaya or Asian Family Market. The other day, I was about to buy some raw chicken wings tray packed poultry section. The package didn't feel as cold as it should have. I looked at the temp gauge above the product, the cooler was malfunctioning and at too high a temperature, 58F I told a manager and she just said yeah, they know. A technician is coming "later". Meanwhile product was still sitting on those refrigerated shelves. They should've pulled everything out of that refrigerated section until it was fixed. That was a bummer, but I still come here for the cheap eggs and last minute items that I don't want to make a longer trip for. Cashiers are always super friendly. I'm always an advocate for coming during off-peak hours. Better parking and it's not combat in the aisles. But it's worth coming during a weekend rush, just for the experience. But do it only once.

I come to this grocery store pretty often for fresh vegetables from bokchoy to korean chives to yam…read moreleaf to king oyster mushroom to thai basil -- you name it. Most if not all of the time I can find great fresh produce at pretty decent price. However you kinda have to look for the price label vs tag as sometimes the advertised price is not what's on the produce's price tag (outdated tag). But they will honor it if you catch it. They have a decent variety of fresh whole/filet fish and seafood as well. They recently changed out the layout a little with the frozen/fridge sections and added more selections. Fresh baked asian (viet) food/drinks options as well. (Attaching a photo of a sale, but maybe not so much for savings?)

They have a huge parking lot and are also attached to a few deli, coffee, food counters which is nice. Deals can be great from time to time. Unfortunately - 3 out of the 4 types of fruit that we got were all overripe and had gone bad (but everything is packaged in plastic so you cant even tell or open to look at the whole fruit). The milk apple, the baby green mangoes, and the mamey fruit. They were tried the same day - which means they were already really bad when picked off the shelf. Was so excited to eat these exotic fruits and sorely let down because they tasted so off they had to go straight in the bin. This has happened more than once shopping here. Firstly, there needs to be more quality control if we were to shop their produce again... And *please, stop* with the excessive plastic use wrapping everything in saran wrap and foam trays that is not only horrible for the environment but traps/infuses toxins and microplastics in our fruits and veggies. There is so much potential here, but I'm not going to throw money down the drain by continually buying bad produce.

My husband is almost as nosy as I am when it comes to discovering new places. So when he said he…read morewanted to check out this new grocery store near southcenter, I was aghast to learn that there had been one under my nose this whole time. When he pulled into the parking lot, I knew exactly why I had missed it previously. Not only is the parking lot pretty narrow and single aisled, the concrete-blocked storefront itself is not obvious. I would assume it would be maybe the corporate office for the postal service or something similar. But definitely not a grocery store. With that being said, the storefront was clearly open and was easy to access. They had carts that were also easy to access, the aisles were clean and organized, although it was a 50/50 shot on value. It really depends on what you're looking for. But for the most part, protein sold in bulk was a great deal, along with other bulk goods like beans, pasta, grains, etc. I didn't really see that great of a discount on smaller individual items like spices or beverages, or even produce. Checking out was simple. Everyone made a single file line down and waited to cashiers to become available. Since the single file goes down the store to the right, it was difficult to see the cashiers. We waited about 10 minutes to be checked out. I'm not entirely sure if mostly working with other food service vendors and workers changes anything for the cashiers here, but I felt that it did lend a bit of a detached air from what you and I are used to in a more public grocery store. The employees, although they acknowledged everyone, were did not appear to manage the line (i.e.: calling out when a checker is ready, instead waiting for the customer to approach them), welcome or greet customers. They were having a few side conversations that halted traffic for a bit, but we have just arrived in time for a shift change, breaks, or something else similar. All in all, I felt the opportunity cost of all things given was enough to definitely return in the future. We made out like a bat out of hell with the bulk frozen ahi tuna and we'll be eating delicious dinner for the next couple weeks!

The store is generally well maintained…read more They offer refrigerated and frozen sections stocked with meat, dairy, produce, and prepared foods. It's a restaurant supply-style store, with large quantity packaging and even an aisle dedicated to Asian groceries. Most items come in bulk, with meat packages often exceeding 10 lbs--great value for the price. I picked up 14 lbs of boneless pork cushion at just $1.79/lb, along with a pack of romaine lettuce and fresh green beans.

The steak melted in my mouth, the dijon sauce was delectable, and even just the vegetables by themselves were fantastically fresh and delicious. Our server was very sweet, friendly and concerned with our experience, and their space is always immaculately clean and pleasingly appointed. A little old Seattle feel in Tukwila. This was during a Saturday evening close to 6pm and I got in to a fine-dining and casual mashup of an interior, where lights hang above the booths. Service here was on point, and food came out within 10 or so minutes of ordering despite the place filling up fast sometime after placing our order. Overall, food quality was just okay. Breaking each one down: - Tom yum: the soup was far more sweet than it was salty or even sour. The balance among all three of these was uneven, and the condiments inside didn't help. - Papaya salad: overall dish didn't taste too fresh and was oddly sour. There wasn't any sort of flavor kick in it and just tasted like regular salad at times. - Thai basil fried rice: the dish oddly didn't come in as hot as the other two. Flavor profile was bland, and rice was dry and a little hard. From previous visits I would recommend their pad see ew, since I don't remember any other dishes I've gotten from here besides that. One of my friends also recommended their duck curry, so I'll give that a try on my next visit here when I can.
