We loved it so much, we ended up here twice in the same week. The service is outstanding here and you can tell they pride themselves on customer service. Before the meal, they do drop off bread with dipping sauces, garlic, and butter. The perfect appetizer. One reason I love this place is the salads. They are big enough for split for 2 and I don't think you can go wrong with any of the options. Personally, the cesar salad is my favorite. What I love about this salad, is they make the dressing right in front of you. Definitely a cool and unique experience. The first time, I ordered the tuna steak. It comes with a soy sauce and a garlic butter. These two sauces on the tuna makes for an incredible meal. I cannot say enough good things about this entree! The second night we went my boyfriend and I split the Cesar salad and the skirt steak. We also added on a side of mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. The whole meal was delicious. I couldn't pick a favorite part because everything tasted so good. Splitting this was the perfect meal for two people and we even had a bit left over to snack on the next day. I always have a wonderful experience with even better food when I come here. If you happen to be in the area this is a must stop.

It was absolutely breathtaking. Our server was knowledgeable regarding all dishes; he brought actual cuts of meat and seafood to the table to show us before we ordered so we would know what we were getting. I had a tamarinda margarita which was delicious. My husband and I shared some crispy truffle fries. For my entree, I had the whitefish, which was cooked perfectly and served on a bed of mashed potatoes. I wasn't able to finish everything because the portions were generous. It was a lovely evening.

The server was attentive to all our needs, helped make recommendations on the menu and helped us pick a delicious bottle of wine that would pair well with our dinner. They addressed us by our last names Mr and Mrs Valles which made me feel even more impressed. They would take away silverware after each meal and provide you with new silverware, they cleaned the table after each meal as well to make sure that even if you had crumbs or a messy eating style they would make sure you had a clean table for the next entree item. During the dinner there was a professional tango dancing couple who dance in front of your table and around the restaurant! It was pretty awesome! Honestly it makes the experience even more exciting. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful during dinner. The view of the ocean from the window seats was also nice to have while enjoying the fine dining Argentinian Cuisines. As for the food we had a Shrimp appetizer that the server recommended paired with Blue Crab Soup. My girlfriend and I also split a Rib Eye steak. Finally we concluded our meal with the Apple Crumble. Let me tell you everything tasted phenomenal! The Argentinian spices and flavor of the shrimp was insanely good, creamy, had some spice, and the flavor was top notch. They cooked our Rib Eye to perfection where the steak literally melted in your mouth! As for the blue crab soup it was absolutely phenomenal and the portion of crab they provide in the soup is perfect. The Apple Crumble would make angels cry in happiness! I am not a big Apple person but the Apple crumble was to die for! Overall, the ambiance can not be beat, the service is phenomenal, the food is delicious, and is a romantic setting that I would highly suggest for couples who are enjoying paradise! Definitely check out this spot for one of your nights in beautiful Cancun!

I absolutely fell in love with the palm salad and have not even come close to reproducing it. So whenever I'm in Mexico, or anywhere for that matter, I always seek out the places that are popular with the locals. This spot for is indeed primarily for locals, the food was outstanding and very reasonably priced, so BINGO! The owner here speaks English perfectly and is quite lovely, friendly and happy to share information about the restaurant and the area. They've got a big alcohol menu with lots wines, beers and pretty interesting specialty drinks. There lots of tacos and expected Mexican fare but they are a legit steak house with some outstanding cuts and selections. Big surprise, not only do they have pastas but they also have a wood fired oven with some cool looking selections of pizzas. For our meal we shared empanadas, OI had the aforementioned palm salad and had one of the steaks (Arrachera Angus) and my honey has the naquitos de cameron and gotta admit we were both pretty impressed and finished with flan, very nice. Bottom line: The food is food, nice music, the musicians were really good, the staff are very pleasant and friendly. It's one of the best options for a nice dinner at Cancun, recommended! https://latranquita.com/ https://www.facebook.com/latranquita/

A nice spot with good food, teas, and snacks. We had a dulce de leche merengue dessert "sandwich" and a couple of empanadas. The empanadas were fried and served up hot. The owners are from Argentina and the menu is written in both Spanish and English. The restaurant serves Argentine wine and brunch/lunch and pastries. The specials board displayed outside the restaurant of daily offerings is what initially drew me in. We weren't very hungry but wanted to sample what they had so we opted to try two empanadas, hot green tea, and this dulce de leche filled meringue cookie. The empanadas were served iced and had a good amount of filling. Heavily fried, the meat one was pleasantly spicy and the cheese and pepper (very interesting pepper I can't recall the unusual name) was very good as well. The tea was brewed fresh and made iced to order. The "cookie" we had was light and although the filling was decadent, I don't believe it was over-the-top sweet. It was cool to see other desserts on the counter which we were unfamiliar with. It took restraint not to order more sweets. The English speaking diners in there claimed the food was delicious and I thought their meals all looked excellent. Service was friendly and efficient. I would return here again if in the area.
