But God will punish them sevenfold for using God as a way to feed their greed. The education is so expensive, but not only that, if you make a mistake, they make you pay with your soul and life. They are money-hungry, using God as a way into your bank account. We have been with Abeka for 2 years now, happy to have an education that starts school with the Word of God and prayer. But the sinister part is the money. We don't mind scraping up what money we have for a good education for our child that teaches about God. So we thought we could do a 3rd year with them. We ordered the wrong items on accident. We were trying to hurry to use the discount coupons they had available and ordered the wrong items. We didn't open the items; we just wanted to return them and put the money we just paid toward the right items. But no, Abeka wants us to pay another payment down to be able to get the labels to return the wrong items we ordered, wait for the money to come back. They gave us 30 days, and if the items don't reach them within 30 days, which they won't due to delivery delays, weather, or them delaying on purpose to drain you of every cent, then they add another 10% restocking fee. I can't just throw another large payment out into the air. I need school supplies to buy for the other part of the school, like pencils, a dictionary they require, glue, colors, etc. Abeka is not forgiving. Returns are expensive. Your mistakes are expensive. The way Abeka forgives your mistakes is exactly how God will forgive their mistakes. These are children's education materials you are overcharging for. To teach kids about God, you are making it financially unable to happen. I will pray that God makes it impossible for everyone who owns and works for Abeka to enter heaven. If I had the ability to teach children about God and educate them the way Abeka does, I would do it for FREE. YOU'RE TEACHING CHILDREN! God's children. The children who still seek God. That's who you are teaching, and you know God's children have it hard in this world. But you are making it impossible. However it didn't take long for my children (Who love school) to dread going to sleep knowing they would only have to wake up with the anxious uneasy feeling. This school was a nightmare!! I had meetings with the teachers (zero help) I then called to speak to the Principle she did in fact return my call (after 3 attempts) I spoke with her and she was very kind hearted and sweet to my face. I realized I forgot to leave her our new address information so I went back only to hear her speak with a lady beside her office. This is what I heard. (MILITARY FAMILYS they're all the same I need some wine after all that wine) I was very embarrassed and now like my children I didn't ever want to go back. I pulled my children out and we never looked back. About 3-4 months later I seen Miss Chapman at a local wing restaurant and she was very intoxicated. Not that it's a crime. It was in fact a weekend. My neighbor had also informed me the other Principal was & very much still is in a band and was a party animal and that they were very close friends with him. My personal experience with this school was very emotionally draining. Please don't make choices on my review. Then things quickly changed when I learned how unprofessional and unhinged the coaching staff is. The coach would scream and intimidate his child in front of others, the Team Mom was very unprofessional and extremely rude towards parents and children. There were occasions were the coach would get so angry at the CHILDREN if they made a mistake( angry to the point where he was taking off and pulling at his hat and face turning red) as well yelling at the umpires and opposing team coaches. The team mom displayed the same behaviors, there were two separate occasions that I though she was going to fight the opposing teams base coach, as well as her just lacking courtesy, respect, or simple etiquette when texting team information. On top of all of this, the fields for practice were rarely available (despite them hosting actual teams from this park) My daughter enjoyed her teammates so that is the only reason I didn't make her quit. I would steer clear of this place!
