I came here a few months ago and had a cut by Melva and I really liked it, so today I made an appointment on the website with her again. When I got to the shop, there were a few people waiting and they were just going by walk in's with no mentions of appointments. I didn't say anything as Melva was busy, so I got one lady, and I was not happy her cut. She didn't really cut the front of my hair and left it very uneven. I had to fix it when I got home. If you are going to offer appointments, please honor them. There is another barbershop called VIP something down the street I think will try next time. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I love to support my local businesses and that why I went here. I'm not a picky person whatsoever but I felt the need to come on here and say something. At first Pablo and his staff "seemed very friendly" as you walk in the door they greet everyone. But by the third time going there you get to realize that it's a fluff. My last experience there was such a turnoff. I had an appointment so I got there 5 minutes before my appointment I understand that there will be someone on the chair as I walk in so I checked in and took a seat. Pablo tells me that there is 2 people before me. I told him that I had an appointment for the time he stated " well I'm running late it if you want you can have one of the ladies cut your hair". ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME! I have been going to him for the last year he knows that he is the only one that cuts my hair and I only make appointments for him. What a disappointment and disrespect! I had a doctors appointment next needless to say I had to canceled they appointment because I really needed this haircut. And I wasn't going to have the mean looking lady touch my hair. I expressed my concern to Pablo that it's not nice to punch off his costumers as if they were first timers. He got defensive and made up some bullshit excuses. REASON #2 why you shouldn't go here... I've been back twice now and both Pablo and the barber next to him are great barbers. Most recently got a cut from Pablo and i'm very impressed with his skills and attention to detail. you can find a cheaper barber but probably not a better one. I'm accustomed to barbers that work by appointment which this shop does not take but even with the 20-30 minute wait I will still be back. As a side note I brought my 8 year old daughter along and one of the ladies on staff gave her a great haircut so Pablo's will be a family destination from now on. read more

Maybe not all of the barbers here are this bad. It wouldn't be enough that she was rough on the neck with the clippers to merit one star. Some barbers don't know and cause burns on the neck. I would have been fine with her taking calls and having a bad attitude. HOWEVER, My hairline has been pushed back almost an inch, but only on one side. By the way I should explain that all I get is a ceasar. A buzz cut is what I got . She charged me $31 . THIRTY ONE DOLLARS. Never coming back. I've been around the world and this is by far my favorite barber shop. Child friendly, excellent haircut/shave and affordable.

First let me say that the guys and Melva do an amazing job at cutting hair. They do an amazing time and they take their time. I've been bringing my son here for 2 months now. Never disappointed. He's 10 and he loves it. I however just had a shockingly experience. I wish I knew her name. The other woman with blondish hair. So called hair stylist. I'm not so mad at how my hair came out. I'm mad and so surprised how much I feel ripped off!!! She has the nerve to charge me $120 for one color process. One hair treatment. And if you consider cutting 1/4 inch off my hair a "haircut" - I didn't ask for layers not facial trims. She barely put a blow dryer to my hair. I didn't want it styled. I seriously have gone to numerous places and for convenience I said let me give them a shot. They didn't give me a receipt because they just don't give receipts. Which is fine, but when I mention how expensive it was the lady who did my hair says take $20 off. Are you serious?!! She did nothing special. I like this little shop. Mom and pap barber shop/ hair salon. I want to support the Hispanics and the local community, but you cannot tell me that you are charging me $120 for the "service" I received. I'm Spanish and yes I have gone to other places. My hair is naturally straight, it's what you call good hair. It doesn't take effort to get it done. For God sakes. It took her less than a minute to cut my ends in a straight line! Ripped off and disappointed. And I didn't feel like I should give her a tip and I still gave her $10. I'm so pissed off. I'm furious because I should have refused to pay. If I was going to pay for what she did to my hair. I would have paid at the most $45 for dying my hair. She did a black color. $15 for the hair treatment she left of for 5 minutes under the dryer because I know she was trying to get out by 6pm and $8-10 for the stupid not even a 1/4 inch off my hair. If you want to call me please let me know. Only way I will take this down is when they pay me my money back. The more I look at my hair the more upset I get. I left there with my hair still wet. This is the best place to get a great haircut for reasonable price. I am from india and i always wanted to find a place in the US which used scissors and razor for the precision and accurate cut and not just the machine. most chain saloons which have under $20 haircut only use the machine and i never get the haircut quality that i used to get in India. After reading reviews on Yelp i checked this place out and i have get 2 haircuts here since. Completely ruined my boys hair. Perfect place to go if your looking to get a mid fade and a trim with a part and you want to walk out with a high fade (uneven on top of it) and a short cut with a flip in the front from Pablo himself. Leaving customers in chairs for extended periods to have their sandwiches and coffee or to answer their cellphones with a shop full of customers waiting. What a joke read more

Florencio is my favorite barber however I get fades from Pablo and Malba as well. All three barbers cut hair and give fades very well. My two sons get their fades here as well. Instead being in a hurry and it was late I decided to go with the women on the end. HUGE MISTAKE!!! She did an absolutely horrible job on my hair and she is not friendly at all. Didnt even speak a word to me the whole time and kept checking her phone in between screwing up my hair cut.
