The actual meat is slightly gamey--not as satisfying as a beef patty, but the mix of the cranberry jam (or some sort of berry jam?) they put on the burger actually mixed very well with the overall dish. I ordered the "menu", which is what they call a meal deal. Burger, fries, and a soda. My choice was the classic with cheese and bacon. The size was perfect and the flavor was outstanding. The fries tasted great and there were more than I could finish. The only thing I think could be a bit better is the ventilation, but that's a tough battle when you're slingin burgers.

Our visit to Lillehammer was during the summer when the sun seem to spin and barely set behind the mountains for a couple of hours of dusk-darkness, and were lucky enough to spend a beautiful night drinking wine and sampling olives at the tables out front alongside a party of gorgeous Norwegian girls - all friends of the establishment.
