I just finished my first challenge ever at P2P as my cousin's challenge partner and I had a great experience! Our goal was to lose 10 pounds each over 6 weeks & i'm proud to say we exceeded our goal by a few pounds. Reflecting on the structure of the program, It will only work if you truly hold yourself accountable by following the rules, keeping your meals simple, and being consistent over the duration of the program. I think what makes this center successful is the camaraderie and community that is pulled together considering everyone is coming in with similar goals. I appreciate the support that is shared across the group & the coaches. I went to the live classes once a week with Coach Melanie & Coach Fresh where they were always attentive and either pushed me to go harder if they could see potential for a push, additionally they made sure to correct my form when they noticed areas of improvement. Overall, You can tell everyone cares about eachother & wants to see eachother win which is awesome. I'd say the only area for improvement if the gym continues to stay open considering the change in operations is their reception area. At the beginning, my login wasn't working and I tried calling at different times and on different days and couldn't get a hold of anyone. At some point my login began to work after it processed but that was the only hiccup I experienced. I want to express my frustration with how my membership was handled. I mentioned in person that I wanted to cancel because the schedule wasn't working for me and I also injured my wrist. The same person who originally processed my payment told me she couldn't cancel it, but gave me a website to send the request to. I tried multiple times, but the email kept failing to go through. Despite making several attempts to cancel during the month, I was recently charged $200 and told I can't get a refund because the cancellation wasn't received in time. This delay was not my fault, I followed the instructions I was given. It doesn't feel fair to be penalized for a technical issue out of my control, and I believe a refund is a reasonable request under the circumstances. read more

I heard this place from one of my coworkers. I tried out the Brentwood location. I love the workouts. I love the trainers.. the bad part is customer service even trying to get somebody to talk to. There's not always a receptionist. Me and my coworker did the black Friday deal we lasted like probably four months before they told us in a short notice two weeks before Brentwood location was about to close. We wanted a refund. Went through the whole process thinking hopefully soon we were gonna be able to get our money back.. it's crazy to think how any business can take your money right away, but yet to do a full refund of something that that owner caused yet will take more than 60 days to return. But yet we have to pay the same day we sign up. then all of a sudden we heard the concord location was about to close. We got an email from LaTasha Renée saying because of the other location closing that it was gonna be difficult for them to process everything and all the refunds that we needed to wait another 60 days. Brentwood location closed in May 2025 We are in September 2025. I'm reading some of the comments and it says that some people have waited a year or two years to get their money back. That's freaking ridiculous. I still haven't received any money back. A friendly friend told me about these scams and told me to be careful. I didn't wanna listen. I always wanna give people in business as a chance because sometimes they do work but now I'm starting to realize that this business has done wrong to people for so many years and yet still don't give a crap about anything and karma is getting to them. what you do in this world will come back and bite you in the ass one way or another and this is one of the reasons why their businesses keep closing down because of the scams they keep doing to innocent people that are just trying to make a better life for themselves. better people. WARNING: DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM unless you are willing to lose out on money. The owner of this gym owes thousands of dollars to members, including myself, from her previous gyms. She will close this location soon. I am posting this as a courtesy and warning. I purchased a black Friday membership where I paid in full for a year- she then closed the gym down with 2 weeks notice and has not refunded me or anyone else, and is not going to. Further, the owner started a "Challenge" right before the doors closed, and members paid the fee for the challenge despite the owner just knowing that she was going to shut the business down. She also fraudulently was accepting payment for memberships up until the day she closed. After speaking to several other previous members, it is my understanding that this happened in both Pleasanton and Brentwood. I heard there is a class action lawsuit against her which I will be joining. Concord is next. Please beware. read more

Disappointed with Management & Refund Process I was a dedicated member of P2P for years and loved the workouts and coaching staff. The trainers were always motivating, and the workouts were effective. However, the way the gym closure was handled by Latasha was extremely disappointing. In November, we were given just one week's notice that the Pleasanton location was shutting down. We were presented with options: request a refund, transfer to another location, or opt into their nutrition or live workout program. I chose the refund because I had prepaid a significant amount--around $1,400-$1,500 which she promised to refund in 60 days. It's now been over 60 days, and I still haven't received my refund. Instead, I recently got an email stating I would be transferred to the Concord location, even though I specifically chose the refund option. This entire process has been frustrating, with little to no transparency. Latasha has been going in circles instead of honoring the commitment she made. While I truly appreciate the coaches and the P2P community, I can't recommend a business that fails to handle its financial obligations with integrity. If you're considering joining, be cautious about how they handle memberships and payments. I would not at all recommend this place. Please get our hard earned money back Latasha else I need to take some action legally for sure. We are a lot of people like 200 and we all trusted you. Went to post a review and started reading comments that are so crazy to me. I've been a member here for 10 years and just until recently did a 6 week challenge. I did it because the commitment. I wanted to see if I could follow a process and maintain a strict regimen uninterrupted by life. This was not easy but given the instruction, the meal plan, the best trainers and biggest cheerleaders who work out beside you everyday, you just can't fail. If you want to do a 6 week challenge and shed for a trip, a wedding, a reunion or whatever your reason is, YOU WILL if you prepare and commit. What you do after the challenge is up to you. You want to continue your journey or go back to the very reason you started the challenge in the first place, that's your choice. I just joined as a member because I love the gym. I can go to as many classes a day as I want. I burn crazy calories and it's all in an hour. It's just something that fits my lifestyle. If you want to go walk on a treadmill and take pictures of yourself in mirrors or text as you're doing leg extensions this might not be the gym for you. P.S. This is a business model built around taking advantage of people struggling with weight-loss. Yes it worked for some, if anyone told you to starve yourself and do cardio for a hour a day you'd get the same results. Those success stories are NOT where this company makes their money. Absolutely LOOOOOVE P2P!! My best friend convinced me to try the 7 day free trial, but I was hesitant to try it out. After the first class, I loved it and immediately signed up as a member. My best friend and I joined in April of this year to shed a few pounds for my wedding in August and P2P helped us meet that goal! I have been with the fit fam since 2016 as a challenger and member. The program works! It is a culture, and a very positive one. This is a healthy and reasonable approach. Admittedly the first challenge will nearly break you. However, once you succeed*, you become addicted to the P2P lifestyle, comradery and results. *Success for me has not always meant I hit the 20lbs. I have done 4 challenges in between my membership, officially winning 2. I have alot of awareness of myself, and I know I do well in an accountable atmosphere. Going on challenges sets defined boundaries that I respond to, allowing me to reset my health an fitness and higher levels after they have slowed to an unhealthy level. Like myself, many people at P2P are long term or returning members. Once you go through the process (And Trust it) you will understand why. Did I put back on some of the weight after challenges? YES!!! and so did all my friends who never did this program. I have witnessed them jump from program to program with the same 15-20 lbs. battle like I have. AND... most of them did not achieve the fitness level that makes you feel like a TOTAL Badass. It's like making it though Navy Seal or Marine training for us common moms and dads. If is and feels like an amazing accomplishment. I write this as I am headed to weigh in for challenge number 5 in an hour. Update: I find it convenient that after I left a review here and on facebook I was finally contacted by someone within hours of posting it. Apparently calling literally 15 times everyday with no answer, during their listed business hours gets you nowhere until you're pissed off enough to speak about it publicly. I've spent so much money on this gym over the last 2 years. From being a customer beginning of 2020 and staying through covid. Get it together - it's wrong & embarrassing to run a business like that. STAY away from this place. In Feb of 2019, I signed my mother up for a $299 per month with NO contract and a promise of free 7 days workout. We cancelled her account a month later. We are still being charge 299 per month even though the term is a month to month. I visited the club in Concord 4 times and spoke to the front desk people. They checked the account and told me not to worry about it. I'm still getting bills from the billing company ASF. I called ASF and have been getting the run around. No one at ASF or P2P know what to do or how to cancel my mother's account. I have been dealing with this issues since March and still yet to be resolved. Their goals are to get you to sign up and make it extremely difficult to cancel. Just like other negative reviewers. I left multiple voice mail messages and not one person return my call. It's honestly so difficult to put into words how this place changes your life. I walked through the doors of the Brentwood location four years ago insecure and desperate. I was physically and emotionally weak and wasn't sure if I could get through the first workout, never mind an entire challenge. The support you receive by the coaches and members is immeasurable! The wind they put into your sails pushes you far past any limit you may have set for yourself. You suddenly start believing in yourself and your abilities the way they believe in you. I managed to lose the 80 pounds I gained during my first pregnancy in a little over a year, and found a confidence I didn't know could exist. 15 years ago I thought I had to say goodbye to my dream of becoming a firefighter. I'm proud to say that because of P2P I will be starting the Fire Academy this upcoming January. The camaraderie here is nothing like I've seen, experienced, or even heard of anywhere else! There is a team of members for any healthy hobby-activity you can imagine to ensure you stay connected and living healthily. There is even group to show you how to cook for goals. There's always a challenge going to keep you focused if you need help getting back on track, or workshops to show you proper stretching techniques and body movement. The friends I've made here are now family. We do life together, grow together, push each other, encourage each other, pick each other up, and love on one another. No gym will ever compare after going to P2P. It truly is my happy place, and not only have I lost weight, become more confident in my body and just felt like a BAD A$$, I have made some amazing friends here! With P2P I have ran 2 half-marathons, 4 spartan races, and am training for ANOTHER half-marathon. And I used to HATE running, but having the P2P community cheering you on makes it FUN and so rewarding. Going in to the gym and knowing I don't have to know what I am doing, and a trainer will walk me through it makes working out fun. All the coaches are amazing, I have truly nothing negative to say about any of them. They know their stuff! This really is a great little place, and will absolutely get you in to shape! No joke. I came here recently for a free, one week trial courtesy of my co worker who invited me. She has had amazing results since starting, and being I have always been a fan of strenuous fitness regimens that lead to killer results, and being I really needed to kick up my normal fitness routine, I figured this would be a great opportunity to see what their all about. The studio is located right off willow pass rd, in the heart of little downtown Todo Santos plaza. The studio is small, but manages to hold a large group of people semi comfortably. They have EVERY necessity to challenge just about EVERY muscle in that body of yours, and trust me, the routines are INTENSE!!! I'm talken 100 pound tire flippen intense! And the trainers really are fantastic. Trust me, you will not leave here with out soreness circulating through your body, but man, does it feel soooo good. I did find out the monthly membership is around $ 180-200 dollars, which is unfortunately more than I can afford right now. However, if I had the money to spend on this, I would gladly take up on it; for the trainers are not only superb at training, they are also quite motivational. Overall, small, but well equipped place. Great professional trainers that put together some killer classes that will be guaranteed to get you ass in shape. And a great team of inspiring people to train with. Parking can be tough for there is only street parking available around the surrounding buildings, but its not horrendous. I would have to say P2P transformations has completely changed my life. I was dealing with a lot of medical issues and decided it was too long of me for just sitting on the sofa deteriorating. I joined P to P's weight loss challenge and was able to lose 20 pounds in six weeks. The modifications that the coaches give you when you do have challenges are amazing they understand that not everyone is at the same level and that's very helpful at the gym. It is very hard I'm not gonna lie but now I'm out walking with my kids and I feel so much more confident about myself in general. Heads up, the agreement/contract is NON REFUNDABLE. Even with emergency. Mary said, you can use the money for gym membership or do the next challenge. After customer service totally had failed, do you think you'd still work out at this gym or feel motivated to go through with tje challenge with a shady company? Most likely not. April 8, paid for the challenge, April 13 I had to back out because of an emergency and would need every penny back to me as I'm going to need it. May 4, Mary left a voicemail and said "no refund". Wow, after numerous calls, voicemails left for billing/accounting, and front desk..also, no one ever answered from the "back end" aka, back office. Contract not in Compliance with State Contract Law "If a contract does not comply with the Health Studio Services Contract Law, it is void and unenforceable, and therefore subject to cancellation by you on that basis." I posted in 2011 about how fabulous P2P was but have learned more as the years have gone on. The contracts, the last time I checked, are not in compliance per the State of California's Health Studio Services Contract Law. See here http://www.dca.ca.gov/publications/legal_guides/w-10.shtml I notified the gym about this last year and was told by some loyal members that the contracts are still not in compliance. This appears to be a liability that is not taken seriously. Also, my departure was very cut and dry from the facility after being a member on/off for years. There was no concern for my injury or well wishes on rehabilitation. P2P- I will be happy to remove my review after the contracts come into compliance to protect the Consumer. read more
