Been there a few times and never had an issue getting a range lane. Last weekend 9/6/25 was a nightmare. Brought my son with me who came home from college, checked in and got my buzzer. Guy at counter says it's a 20 minute wait. 45 minutes go by and seeing others that were checking in after us go thru. Asked the desk guy what's our lane status, he said we were next. Others getting lanes again and there were open lanes available after 15 more minutes. I had enough of that crap, so we gave them our buzzer and told them the wait was ridiculous and being passed up was even more infuriating. As we drove to another range, I called them to let them know my unsatisfactory experience and also how we will never give them our business again. This place is a joke. I purchased a membership from P2k on 7/21/2020. I am pleading with you Do NOT get a membership here! Customer service is non existent the employees need communication classes. They give off a negative vibe, it is weird cocky for no reason. Like relax bro this is just a range. I regret buying this crappy membership. Lanes are humid and zero air flow like damn I feel like I am back in Iraq in a tent. HOT. AND STINK. This business does not use any applictions or even a membership website sign in so god forgive you accidently leave your Super High speed P2k Membership card at home. They cannot look you up in any form phone number, name, method of payment, email. No you need your ID card. Also I am not talking about the Range safety card I am talking about the membership card that you pay 75$ to 200$ for. Lmao I talked with the owner she explained to me that they would not be willing to change any policy to help the client / customer basically she refused to take any advice on how to make the business more friendly to clients. Policy is policy. Not open to any form of feedback. Keep in mind I was extremely respectful; however, blowin away by lack of compassion for customers. Indoor range vs outdoor range right? My niece was visiting from Brisbane, Queensland and she wanted to go shooting. She had shot a few firearms before whilst visiting Hawaii and she throughly enjoyed and wanted to try it again. As we all know guns are hard to come by in Australia. What better way to expose her to 2nd ammendment rights and go to the range. We went on a weekday and rented two firearms. I decided to complement the selection by bringing my AR and the short barrel Para ordinance 45. The range is well maintained and of course we had to take the safely course since I had misplaced the card I got last timr. P2K valued safety so everyone had to take the course. The targets are easy to setup and the 25 max distance it just right for beginners since you can set the targets as close as five yards. Tip for would be shooters is that when you rent forearms from P2K you have you purchase have their ammo. This is understandable since P2K wants to make sure that you are using good ammo. The staff are very friendly and are willing and ready to answer all your questions. Overall we had a blast and my niece has an experience she can take back home... punching paper targets with bullets. It is almost therapeutic. read more

Driving up the dirt road I was a bit sketched out about what type of range this was. My friends reassured me it was quite nice and they were very correct! First time at the range? You will have to take a Safety Quiz (open book so no need to study, plus it's mostly common sense knowledge). They present you with a nice orange paper card which you will need to present each visit, unless you want to re-take the quiz. The lanes fill up fast and waits can be a b*tch from what I have heard, so get there during the week or early on the weekend to minimize wait times. Upon checking in you will receive a restaurant style coaster beeper which will buzz when it's your turn, very nice organizational idea! The staff was nice, although not sure how they treat newbies or how knowledgable they are... I had my own stuff with me as did my friends so all we needed them for was to check us in/out and give us a lane :) The facility is very clean. Middle level fancy, as far as ranges are concerned. Prices are comparable to others in town for targets and lane rental, same with rentals and ammo from what I saw (although like I said, we brought our own). Only downside is that due to the set-up of the two indoor range areas, every 25 minutes everyone at either indoor range station must clear out so that the 100 yard shooters can change out their targets (there is not a wall that separates them from the 25 yard shooters). At least you know safety is a main priority, something that I sometimes question at the other places in town. P2K also offers leagues, classes, and has an outdoor range. If it was not for the far drive, I would definitely make this a more regular place to shoot. read more

But my cousin gave me no choice, so I went with her. Dennis roman was our instructor. He was very informative and made this day - not so terrifying. I actually learned a lot about shooting, as a sport. After the training we were able to go out to the shooting range. Everything was guided with care, it was very personalized... About 5 to a group. It was a class of about 17 and we rotated in groups of 5 or 6 ... We got to shoot the hand gun, shot gun and now my favorite, the Rifle. The trainers made my first time very comfortable. They walk you through every step, how to load and shoot. It's a very safe environment and the staff is great!! Dennis was very hands on as well, he helped me hit a bullseye with the Rifle!! For someone who was terrified of guns, I would definitely come back to P2K... It was a life changing experience, and I'm glad that my cousin forced me to go. Pow! Pow! Pow! I've never been more grateful for ear protection than when I entered the range. Even though I was in a short film killing zombies with a P90 (www.city7themovie.com), I had never fired a real gun before, and it had been a while since hubby did some target shooting with the Boy Scouts back in the day. We picked up a Groupon and Robert at P2K got us all squared away with the prerequisite safety test, safety glasses, ear plugs and then with a 9mm glock. After we passed through the safety doors to the range, someone was blasting away with 12 gage shotgun, which made me a little unnerved with each POW! But after a few minutes, I didn't notice it at all as I was shooting zombie targets down the way. Can't believe how fast we each blew through 100 rounds, but we had an exhilarating time! It was a perfect follow-up to our early morning jetski trip at Mission Bay and left us both feeling like action heroes. I've been back 3 times since, and even brought my Dad for a belated Father's Day present. If you're a novice, don't be shy, Robert and the P2K team will take care of you. We haven't been here since before the pandemic. Today, my family are going to shoot Trap and we did our reservations yesterday. Upon arrival and checking in, I found out that they don't rent out shotgun which I sent an email but they responded that they don't have any due to numerous reasons that were all valid. I'm really pleased with this range. I've been going to this location for years when I have time. It's very well organized. You do have to take a test to get on the range. If you pass the test and hold on to your card, you never have to take another test. They do have a lot of merchandise for sale: safes, t-shirts (very funny and cute ones), ear protection, glasses, cases etc. Recently, I was working on a project (see below) and was going to the range a lot more than normal because I needed shell casings. The customer service here was great. Everyone who assisted me was nice and pleasant. Susan who might be the manager or owner was very accommodating and sweet. You can see that they really care about their customers. The lanes were always clean. You can bring your own ammo to shoot if you are using your own gun. Where do I start? P2K is a nice shooting range. It has an indoor and an outdoor range. Outdoor is only target/clay shooting. It was my first time at this shooting range. It's required to take a safety test when it's your first time there. Which, I don't mind at all. I think asking customers to take a safety test at a gun range is a very smart move (because I see a lot of young/inexperienced customers coming in and they literally scare me because they are not shooting correctly). Okay, so what bugged me about this range? My fiancé and I were sitting next to each other (totally normal right?) minding our own business...just reading the safety book... all of a sudden, one of the safety guys screams, "hey you two need to separate!" Number one, who are you and why are you speaking to us like we are kids? Number two, why do we need to separate? Number three, there are different versions to the test so why should we separate? We confronted the guy and asked him why he was yelling at ONLY US to separate and not anyone else? Mind you, there are groups of people sitting at the tables together and giving each other answers and he did NOT say anything to them. Did he have something against us? Was it the way we looked? Not to mention, we were the only ones there who had our own guns/gears while everyone else was clearly inexperienced so you would THINK that he would've told those people to do the test on their own. To conclude this part of the review; don't talk to us like we're kids when we are clearly grown adults. Besides that negative part, it was an okay range. I wish they had a place to put your bags and reload. But, they do have these mini stools that you can sit on. Except for that rude safety guy... everyone else had good customer service skills.
