Do Not Use This Service!!! after the terrible interaction i had with the phone handler i went to make some sort of complaint/review and was shocked by the fact that no one had commented on their poor communication skills and customer service. i am a new customer and was told to use this service because it was cheaper but today i called them up and the handler was being condescending, rude and just plain talking over me. proceeding to call me 'my dear' whilst being aggressive down the phone honestly made me feel belittled and his tone came across somewhat misogynistic. if you value being spoken to like a human whilst asking for a simple request then do not use this service. i simply asked him if i could book the taxi for 9pm instead of it coming at 8:55 and them having to wait 5 mins due to me not finishing work till the hour but no.... he instead proceeded to shout down the phone at me whilst being patronising and sarcastic. not only this but he was rude to me a couple of nights ago when i tried to book a taxi... a pattern has seemed to form read more

Absolutely appalling service. The majority of the time the drivers fail to even indicate... I am yet to see a driver actually wear a seatbelt. The drivers smoke in the cars, I've had a few cars where the car door was bent and wouldn't shut or the engine wouldn't start. Always a delight when your driver is watching videos on their phone and says 'Do you mind if I watch this?' - no please continue to watch videos while you drive me home. Once a driver took me the complete wrong way home, I thought he was going down a different route due to the one way system but got the address wrong. He then proceeded to shout and blame me for his lack of navigation. In the end he tried to charge me triple the usual cost. Several times the driver has not put the meter on and has bullied me into paying, when the office has a sign clearly stating 'do not pay if the meter is not on.' I seriously dread asking the driver whether the meter is on or not now. Last night the driver insisted I paid a fixed fee due to it being a small job, I questioned this and he was not pleased. I got out of the car and it transpired he was not supposed to do this. Tonight the driver did not want to put the meter on, when I challenged him he argued with me and told me to pay him. I said no because the sign said I shouldn't pay if the meter is not on. He then stopped the car halfway through the journey told me to get out and shouted 'bitch' out of the car. I get a taxi because I don't feel very safe in my area, so to have to leave a taxi halfway home is not very safe at that time of the morning. I have tried to give the company the benefit of the doubt, unfortunately the drivers are letting the company down massively. I will not be using this company again, and I urge other people to seek out a different company for travel. The drivers are reckless, rude, intimidating... argumentative and aggressive when challenged. I am writing this not out of bitterness, but as a warning for people. I used to use only PJs at one time. Mainly because the office used to be at the bottom of my street. They have really gone down in recent years though and now I only use them as a last resort. For a start none of their drivers ever seem to be able to find my new home. I stood 20 minutes once waiting and when I called they said the driver had driven past twice and not seen me. He was obviously in the wrong place as I had seen no PJs taxi. Another time I rang up and asked to be picked up at the Riverside centre. After waiting half an hour the taxi driver rang me and said he was waitingAt ASDA so it took him another half an hour to get to me from Spondon. We were stood out in the pouring rain. The drivers are all ignorant. They are always on the phone and I fear for my life, even if they had handsfree I wouldn't mind so much. They don't speak to you from the minute you get in the car to the minute you get out. No Hello's or Goodbyes so No tips from me I am afraid. read more

Took a car to town last night and was shocked at the price, £9! I thought this may be due to being new years day but got a Western cab back (after midnight) and was only £6.80! Won't be using again. read more
