We've been regulars at P.F. Chang's for weekday lunches, and that's when this place really shines. We're always happy when we're seated with Anneli--she remembers us, makes us feel welcome, and even when busy still takes the time to pour our wine and check in. That kind of service keeps us coming back. Our recent weekend visit was a completely different experience. We were seated right away, but the meal stretched to nearly three hours due to slow, inconsistent service. Our waitress was polite but minimal, then disappeared on break without notice. Another server stepped in briefly--friendly and attentive--but we never saw him again It was clear he was covering too many tables. From there, it was a lot of waiting--empty glasses, plates sitting until we asked for boxes, and a long delay just to get the bill. When our original waitress returned, there was no acknowledgment or explanation. We also asked for the blinds to be lowered, and instead of handling it directly, it was simply passed off to the hostess, which added to the overall disconnect. Prices have also increased significantly (easily 3x from when we first started coming), and with no lunch specials or smaller portions, it makes the experience harder to justify when service doesn't match. They are able to answer my questions with a smile and very patient with me when I take time to decide on what to eat...the menu is sooo expansive by the way which is a posssitive thang. My selected drinks and food I've ordered makes me want to taste more yummy menu items. Was here last week for my husbands birthday. We received great service. The food was fresh & amazing. We sat outside so it was a little noisy from the street traffic but we also had children so it works out. Parking can hard to find if you have a big car but this location is so much better than the one in fashion valley. read more

I seldom am inclined to leave a review let alone a negative one. I will never attempt to eat at any PF Chang's locations in the future. Today was Mother's Day and I arrived at 12:25pm and put in my name for a table for 4 and happily accepted the patio since that is what seemed to be easiest. I was told they will text me in 45 minutes. After waiting for hour outside I went in at 1:30pm and asked how much longer the wait would be, and was told "10 more minutes". Now it was nearly 2pm and we are still waiting. At this point it was going to ruin our plans for the rest of the day so we began to leave. I asked if I could get my parking ticket validated for the parking structure labeled "PF Chang's Parking" which is shared with the Embassy Suites by Hilton. The validation ticket scanned as "invalid" at the terminal and I had to pay $46. So not only did we not get to eat we also had to pay $46 per car to get the hell out of there and find someplace else to go. After sitting outside for nearly two hours! The girls at the front desk seemed clueless and were telling many groups "10-15 minutes" which made no sense. Never again, just go somewhere else this was a joke. I visit P.F. Changs once or twice a year.  My favorite thing about P.F. Changs is I can walk over.  They also keep adding new dishes.  The latest is Korean Fried Chicken.  I ordered it bone in with dry rub 5 spice seasoning.  I liked the crunchy batter and how the chicken was tender and moist.  I liked the fried flavor but the dry rub made it saltier than I'd prefer.  I would prefer this dish without seasoning.  It was pricey at $22.49 for a breast and 2 wings.  For comparison at BHC my fav Korean Fried Chicken spot it's $16.99 for 8 piece wings and I always have pieces left over. Northern style spare ribs were tender and I liked the flavor of the pork mixed with a bit of dry rub. Rice was moist and I liked the mild flavor.  Service was good except my server didn't bring fortune cookies with the check. P.F. Changs has good dishes but prices are usually higher than my favorite spots like Golden Chopsticks. read more

The food here was OK. Best one was the beef and broccoli. The green beans were also good but definitely spicy (my tolerance is low so I could only eat a few). One thing was I got the noodles (they didn't have a flame sign next to it) and assumed these weren't spicy but they were spicier than the chili-garlic green beans and so it was real hard for me to eat. I don't present my self as an expert on Asian food, but similar to many other Yelpers, I know what I like ! And I like PF Chang's Chicken Lettuce Wrap with Iceberg Lettuce ($16.59). Yes, the price has increased, but at least the quantity seems the same. In fact, for two adults I ordered more lettuce wraps to accommodate the amount of chicken filling. Delicious. I also like Sweet and Sour Chicken ($17.99). Yep, a bit overpriced, but split between two, it was an adequate amount. It was delectable, price be damned. Our server was Joshua, and he was quite attentive. But the voluminous restaurant was almost completely empty during a Friday lunch hour, so he had time on his hands. This is a tough one. Annabelle our server was magnificent. There was an issue with one of the meals and while she asked more than once if we wanted it replaced (we did not) it was nice to see such a professional attitude and we felt well taken care of. The meals were good. Not great but solid. The atmos was pleasant. The manager checked in and was also quite nice. The one thing that bothered us were the very (and I mean very) dirty air vents above the kitchen. They are caked with dirt and dust and some of that must make its way onto the food as they are located literally above where the food comes out of the kitchen. Not sure how these can be missed. My husband and I were staying in the embassy next door to this P.F. chang's. Our anniversary was the day before and We decided to go here for dinner. Service was absolutely amazing, the food was so good, and they even gave us a gift card for the next time we come. I ordered the asian Cesar salad and I forget what my husband ordered but everything was delicious, We also had a couple long island ice teas and a bottle of Chardonnay, after we received the bill we realized that they had taken off the bottle of wine and bought it for us, so we tipped very big. We have been frequent diners to the La Jolla restaurant. The last 2 visits have been terrible. Poor, slow service with the fish being overcooked. In addition, the main dishes were brought to the table at different times keeping 2 of our guests without food for a minimum of 10 minutes. In addition, the desserts of ice cream were finished prior to the other desserts being served. One more thing, we ate our desserts without the table being cleared of our main courses. First time coming here for a work lunch and it's very spacious, clean and modern inside. Service was friendly and checked on our big group often. I like that the lunch specials are decently priced and come with a variety of items. I ordered the crispy honey chicken with lo mein and egg drop soup. The chicken tasted just like orange chicken and wasn't as crispy as I liked and was too sour for me. The lo mein also was soggy and soft and tasted sour due to the sauce from the chicken. The egg drop was a bit salty and lacking in flavor. I also got the peach boba breeze and it was sweet and refreshing. I had the red velvet cake as dessert and it was decent. As someone who grew up eating authentic Chinese food, I wasn't impressed at all with this place. You can find much much better Chinese food at other restaurants, and even at Panda Express as P.F. Ordered pick up, supposed to be ready at 6:48pm, came a little bit later and then waited for another 10-15 minutes Since our favorite dish - Crispy Honey Shrimps with candied walnuts and honeydew was discontinued, we've ordered Teriyaki Trio (Beef, chicken and shrimps) with fried rice. It was inedible! Teeny tiny pieces over-fried and crispy in a sweet sauce. At least it was hot. The fried rice was barely warm and tasted like plastic. We were in La Jolla celebrating our grandpup's birthday road trip. Each day was filled with eating adventures for 3 meals a day. For our last dinner we decided on Grub Hub from PG Chang's. It's really nice to have a comfy meal together before we left super early before the sun rose to go back to the airport. This is what we had: edamame cuz we needed something green and healthy, savory tender ribs, and noodles with combo protein. Complimentary fun to open fortune cookies came in the package. We had the chicken lettuce wraps, asian caesar salad (Romaine, parmesan, toasted sesame seeds, wonton croutons), spicy chicken (sweet-spicy chili sauce, green onion), chicken lo mein (Wok-tossed noodles, mushrooms, Asian vegetables, savory soy sauce), with white rice. Everything was very good except for the chicken in the lo main - was quite dry. Especially like the texture and spiciness of the spicy chicken. Finished off with a complimentary birthday chocolate cake. Quite a large slice! enough for four, really. Great atmosphere outside, fast friendly service. Haven't had P.F. Chang in 10 years. Came here to celebrate my last day of chemo. Service was impeccable! Food was delectable. One can never go wrong with ordering their lettuce wraps - always hits the spot! From their mouthwatering appetizers: crab wontons, miso lobster dumplings, butternut squash dumplings to their entreés, everything was made just right. Service was inattentive and unwelcoming, and it felt like an inconvenience just to get basic service. When you choose to sit at the bar, you expect a certain level of engagement and professionalism, and unfortunately that was completely missing during this visit. This experience was bad enough that I won't sit at the bar again, which is disappointing because I normally like this restaurant. We were lucky to have a P.F. Chang's connected to our hotel literally in the same parking lot. We had a party of nine I was able to make a reservation the same night for 7 PM on a Saturday night. We only had to wait about 10 minutes when we arrive for that reservation, we were seated Promptly after that. The waiter was nice and attentive. My fiancé and I went here on a Monday afternoon at 3pm, just in time for Happy Hour. We found parking easily out front, and sat inside at the bar. It was super clean and quiet in there, and we were quickly greeted by our server Ethan, who was very nice, quick, and helpful. We started off with drinks: fiancé got Voodoo Ranger and I got a delicious tropical tiki. (It was so good I plan to remake it at home). Appetizers were the chicken lettuce wraps (that sauce is delish by the way), and the pork dumplings from the HH menu - they look like they'd be spicy but they're not, so definitely safe for those who don't like too much spice. Entrees: fiancé got the kung pao chicken with steamed rice and I got the pepper steak (at Ethan's suggestion), and some fried rice. Both were good, though I liked my fiancés entree better than mine purely because it was more crispy and that's typically what I go for. First of all the service was very slow even for the appetizer. We ordered one appetizer and it took about 25 minutes to come out (mind you there were maybe 5 other people in the restaurant). In that time no one came to check on us. When we placed our food it took around another 30-40 minutes to come out. Again maybe about 5 or 6 people there. We had to ask about the status on our food then it was brought. They got our food wrong and they really didn't care. They just left it even after I asked. Very bad do not come here.
