My dad and his beloved partner Ellen loved PF Chang's. It is in their honor that I return here and dine on their favorites. While still not quite up to what I hope for, our local P.F. Chang's here in the Falls seems to have better food and better service than the restaurant that I went to with with Dad, but his memory is still the highlight of my meal. There are a lot of special dinners and honestly, I have not taken the time to figure out if it saves me money to take advantage of them, but I find it easier to order from those menus. Dad and Ellen were particularly fun of the spareribs and the lettuce wraps as appetizers, the egg drop soup, the Mongolian beef and the sesame chicken. So I generally will include these among my choices for the evening. I cannot vouch for the authenticity of the egg drop soup, but what I can't say that it is my favorite egg drop soup anywhere. The consistency is somewhat different and helps the flavor linger on the palate. I always enjoy it. The very first time I ate lettuce wraps was actually at a P.F. Chang's. So for me that has set the standard for how it's supposed to taste. So I can never come here and not order this. But I try not to fill up on it the appetizer and have discovered that the way they separate the lettuce and they filling makes it perfect to bring home for a snack later on leftovers. I generally order the chefs feast. This allows me to share an appetizer and have my own perfectly portioned entrée and soup or salad. There is even an option to add on one of their delicious desserts. My go to options are the Mongolian trio or the sesame chicken. Mongolian trio is chicken, beef and shrimp in a really delicious sauce. The sesame chicken is quite good and the sauce is delicious but the chicken is never prepared crispy. This is also true of what they call the crispy honey chicken which tastes great, but it isn't crispy so either change the name or make it crispy. I would like it much better if it were. These meals also come with rice, white or brown, or fried rice with an added up charge. Frankly, the fried rice is not all that good to make it worth an up charge. Occasionally, when with a larger group we will order a la carte from the menu, but often get the same dishes, adding and some additional appetizers like the spareribs. On our last visit, they didn't offer the chefs feast although they told me afterwards that I could've gotten it. That was a little disappointing. My main problem with this particular restaurant is inconsistency. The food is always at least very good, but sometimes is outstanding. I am not sure why it can't be outstanding every time. The dishes vary very slightly in flavor from visit to visit. The food that has crispy in its name is never crispy. The service is also variable. I have been seated and then forgotten until I go and get the waiter and I have waited sometimes over a half an hour to get a check. Other times the service has been impeccable. All of these issues are fixable and while I rarely would give five stars to a chain restaurant this one has the potential but to get there they're going to have to step up their game every time I visit. Incidentally, the few times I've interacted with managers there, they are outstanding. Hopefully they will rub off on the rest of the staff. read more

Haven't been here in many years, but my son grew up eating Mongolian beef as one of his favorites and we came in and tried it and it was better than ever. The service was absolutely fantastic by Aylah. They have redone the restaurants since we have last been here and it looks fantastic. read more

The chicken was overcooked and completely dry, the Pad Thai was inedible, and the Mongolian beef tasted spoiled -- almost like it had gone bad. The overall quality was shockingly poor, especially considering the price. It's honestly upsetting how low the standards are here. Please, do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Food was 3/10, we were seated at 815pm didn't get out til 1020pm, service was uber slow, kitchen was disgusting and unsanitary and so are the cooks working inside I can see what exactly was so unsanitary so many Red Flags. the only great thing was the manager came out to the 30min wait on the sushi but thank god it was free which she covered greatly appreciated but if not I would had gone Kanye mode. We recently dined at P.F. Chang's, because we had a good experience the first time. The atmosphere is contemporary and inviting. The waitstaff is informative and attentive. Regretfully the food didn't quite meet our expectations on our follow up visit The honey chicken, which was a letdown; it tasted old and lacked that delightful crispiness that you crave. The egg rolls were decent but nothing to write home about we had much better at other restaurants. On a brighter note, the beef was surprisingly good and exceeded my expectations. However, the noodles were too thick for my liking and didn't complement the dish as well as they could have. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the soup.. Overall, while P.F. This location went through three separate delivery drivers because the kitchen was so backed up and uncommunicative. We had not visited this chain in over a decade. We used to visit often when my kids were younger. We just had the worst experience at PJ Chang's. When we sat at our booth, I gave the area around me a glance and noticed that the floor around me was filthy, the wall paper was lifted and bubbled up quite a bit and that the empty tables had not been cleaned. This scene made me very uncomfortable, in my mind, if the dining area is this disgusting, what does the kitchen look like??? Thankfully, our waiter did not come to the table right away, giving us time to realize that this was not a sanitary restaurant, and that we needed to exit right away which is exactly what we did. I hadn't been to PF Changs in so long I forgot it's overpriced! Our service was great! We were seated right away even though we came during Sunday lunch. Our server was amazing constant checking in and making sure we were okay. I ordered a drink that doesn't usually come with alcohol and they added it for me, and it was such a good drink! The food however was okay. I think the chili green beans were my favorite and had the most flavor. The beef and broccoli was just okay. And the ribs were pretty good as well. Another reason they get a 4, is because where we were sitting there were so many gnats and flys everywhere, which was pretty gross and annoying, since we were inside. read more

My daughter and her fiance came into town unexpectedly and she wanted to go here. It was a good decision. We were able to get a table right away. They accommodated our request for a booth away from any loud kids. Although the restaurant was busy, the tables are not crowded too close together so you are able to have a conversation and be heard. Our waiter was prompt, courteous and attentive without being obtrusive. We all shared a couple of yummy appetizers, the steamed dumplings and fried green beans. We all ordered something different, including the chicken fried rice. All was very tasty and we had enough leftovers for another meal for me and my husband. I was pleasantly surprised with the food and service, especially since the last time I was here a couple of years ago, our waiter practically asked us to leave as he was going off his schedule and wanted to close out our tab and it was only around 7:30pm. Firecracker Shrimp was over cooked, the rice was dry and the sauce had a bottled taste to it. The Mongolian beef was good as usual. Ordered crispy honey chicken and they brought orange chicken there was barely a cup of fried rice which was extra. Service was good. Others had kung pow and chicken but the beef was really hard. Food at this location is horrible and the staff is sorry. I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. They burn the magnolia beef and it taste like charcoal. The server didn't really come back till the end of the meal. This location is one of the worst one. They do have good locations just not this one. We went for dinner and were seated promptly. The ambiance was nice and relaxing. We ordered some appetizers- the pork dumplings, the spring rolls and the Korean style cauliflower- all were really good. For my entree, I ordered the firecracker shrimp with rice. The rest of the entrees looked good too. For dessert, we shared the Great Wall of chocolate cake and it was good. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant. read more

My friend loves PF Chang's so we go every year for his birthday. He always gets the Mongolian beef with fried rice. I ordered him the lunch portion by accident so he didn't get any extra fried rice! Next time I know that he wants the dinner portion but he told me to order and I didn't know. I had the Chang's spicy chicken. I requested it to be mild with white rice. My friend had the veggie spring roll and I had the pork egg roll. I think they were both $2 extra. Both came with tasty dipping sauces. I really liked mine. For dessert, my friend had the giant wall of chocolate cake (he took home 2/3s of it). I ordered the Chang's apple crunch and took home 2 of them. They were delicious! Overall we had a really good meal. Service was okay. Our server basically threw the to-go boxes at us. We were both quite shocked but didn't say anything. We just packed up our dessets and left after paying the bill on my phone. Pity that I paid before we had the boxes thrown at us, otherwise I may have given the server a smaller tip. read more

We used to go to the P.F Changs in the falls years ago and it was ok. We went there for an early dinner and it did not go well. Started out witl dirt sticky table and menus. Then dirty silverware with dried food stuck on it. Had the house salad not bad. Then the veggie spring rolls showed up. Full of grease. Not good. Then my spicy chicken entree arrived. Inedible. Just burnt pieces of left over chicken . Could not get my fork to stick in one because they were so overcooked. Then the sever shows up and she sees the chicken and says that does not look right. She took it off the bill at her offering then overcharged me on the other items so the bill stayed the same. Oh yeah the bathrooms were very nasty. Two out of the three stalls were clogged. I hadn't been to P.F. Changs in a long time! The other day when I went to the Falls, I tried out this location for the first time. While I'm not huge on fast food, I can say the experience was solid. Mango iced tea was yummy. So were the Sweet and Sour Chicken (loved the pineapple) and the Brussels sprouts. They had an orange chicken for kids with the sauce on the side and my son loved it even though he's normally picky. I ordered fruit on the side. The fortune cookies are a cute touch. read more

Took my mother-in law to this P.F. Chang's location after her doctor's appointment. The ambiance was quiet (we had lunch at 3:30PM) and the restaurant was clean. Loved it! I was at the falls mall and saw there was a PF Changs by me. Hadn't been to one in a while. As always the quality presentation and service was great! I had the salmon dinner special with a Sapporo beer and veggie roll. All were excellent. The ambiance was casual elegant we sat outside ( the weather cooperated) and our server Eric was very courteous and knowledgeable of the menu, helpful and provided great service. On the occasion of my niece's birthday back on August 4th, we ended up at Falls location of P.F. Chang's, her choice restaurant to have Friday lunch and celebrate. Her grandmother had not seen her in over a month now that she is in college and working, so we all were looking forward to her 18th birthday. By the time we arrived (mom, wife and I), my niece and her gang were feasting on the handmade pork dumplings as well as the salt and pepper prawns. We were 25 minutes late as I picked up the cake last minute. As we were seating, Guillermo gave us a rundown of the lunch menu., being very polite and proactive. And upon viewing my niece's appetizer order, we ordered the handmade shrimp dumpling for my mom and my wife. I was comfortable with a glass of Whispering Angel Rose. In between the appetizers and the conversation came the many many photos of her important day. And she was a good sport for over two dozen photos. And for the entrees, the choices were simple, either Fried Rice Chicken/Shrimp or the Signature Lo Mein Combo, followed by her chocolate birthday cake. Our choices were delicious, hot and packed flavor, yet needed a bit more spice. Lunch ran between $160 to $175 for six persons and was definitely worth it. I hadn't been to a PF Chang's for quite a while. Like I don't remember them taking reservations when I last went. We got there at the time of our reservation and were sitting in a booth within 5 minutes. I ordered pork egg rolls for an appetizer. They were the best ones I've ever had. They came on a large bed of crispywhite noodles that were pretty good. I'm not sure what they were made of. The egg rolls came with a dip made with some sort of Asian dressing and mustard that was totally addicting. I'd be a fan of anything dipped into that magic potent. To be fair, I tried a bite without the sauce, and the flavor of the egg roll would still stand as the best (most flavorful) I've ever tried. I also ordered a new item on the menu: teriyaki chicken. The chicken was light and tender and it came with broccoli, red pepper, onions, and fresh pineapple bites. It's not that it exactly tasted extra sweet, but I suspect there was a lot of sugar because my craving meter was set off. I wasn't even very hungry when we ordered, yet this dish had me wanting to eat every bit. I still had some left to take home, took along with some brown rice, so the portion size was nice. read more

Me and my girls went there for a girls night last night, we did not drink much maybe 1-2 drinks each. We ate more than anything. I threw up before even making it to my car. My friends that came all got sick throughout the night and morning. My friend gave the leftovers to her dad the next day and he ALSO got sick.
