Chang's Spicy Chicken
Dylan S.

Ordered via uber eats. Not only did they get my order wrong (sent white rice instead of fried), the food was not good, and they sent me the saddest portion of food... for a 20 dollar entree this is pretty pathetic by anyone's standards.... One of the worst experiences dining in or out in the Knoxville area I've had in years.

This is what the special was suppose to be

Well started to order my usual lettuce wrap full order but decided on the special. put my order in with take out for the Mongolian beef with noodles. asked did I get something else with the special was told no and it would be 17.46 something close to that. got back to work looked again at the special and yes I was right I was supppose to get a starter item as well. feel like I got cheated on my meal. made it not so good He should know what the special consist of. I will know the next time wasn't happy about my meal

We haven't been here in several years so decided to stop in today. The hostess was very friendly. The restaurant is very clean and the service was prompt . The food had plenty of flavor and also the portions are a decent size but not large. This is a good American Chinese food and will definitely try again when in town.

Very good service, good food! We had Max as a server. Food was 4 Stars- MAX was 5 Stars!! Max was attentive and cordial. We appreciate the kindness and generosity from this well experienced server. He made sure my husband and I were taken care of and had plenty of refills on drinks and whatnot. I had a headache that night, and he still made it enjoyable with his Service and Hospitality. Our little guy colored on his menu, and after a couple of minutes we were ready to order. They didn't have a direct "General Tsos" option so the Changs Spicy chicken Tastes most like it. The orange chicken was fresh and robust with flavor. However I personally didn't favor it. We also ordered The Crab Rangoon's, they weren't that great compared to some I've had in the past... it was light on the flavor and cold in some spots. My husband said it tasted like a trace of cleaning supplies and I had to agree. It was edible though. LOL. We ordered Chicken fried Rice for the little guy and we were all happy as a dog laying in the sun. The place was SO peaceful because we went late at night. And they were actually about to do some improvements as we were leaving.... Max was on top of things like white on rice. Very impressed!! We had decided to not get any dessert, but then after seeing the pictures we QUICKLY changed our Minds. We agreed on the Great Wall of Chocolate!! WOW!! What a Piece of Cake!! The food taste clean and authentic. We LOVE clean food!! This Cake was delicious and HUMONGOUS!! $130 later we left stuffed and full of delicious food, and Great Vibes thanks to Max!! We enjoyed ourselves and we look forward to coming again one day!! My Recommendations: -Changs Spicy Chicken in replace of General Tsos -Fried Rice Upgrade - Great Wall of chocolate! -Max was Stupendous!! Thank you Again Max! Pros: -Clean food! -Plenty of Parking -Great Atmosphere -Kids Menu and Kid Friendly -Open Late Cons: -Upgrades for Rice -Crab Wontons weren't that's great. They were okay but not Fantastic. -A little Pricey if you're not ready( lol if you know what I mean!) Thank you So Much!! -Karenza and Kevin Kanevski

Hubby & I went Black Friday shopping at West Town and decided to eat here because well, it's good food and we haven't had it since last time we ate. They had holiday specials and got few of our fav dishes. *see photos* Looking forward to coming back!

It's been over a decade since I've been in a P.F. Chang's. I remember it being delicious. It was a bit of a letdown. The service was pretty good. I sat at the bar. Ordered a new specialty drink. A luxe punch. It was decent, not my favorite. I ordered fried green beans, and Mongolian beef. The green beans were ok, but extremely salty. I then ordered a Asian pear mojito. The mojito was the highlight of the whole meal. Simply delicious. The Mongolian beef was very salty as well. Luckily the white rice tamed the flavor a little. This place is a hard pass for me.

Hot & Sour Soup. I added the wontons

We stopped in for lunch on a Thursday. We were greeted as soon as we entered, seated and our server was promptly there. I had a cup of hot & sour soup to start and it was delicious. So much flavor. I had the lunch portion of kung pao chicken with fried rice. It was tasty and a large serving for a lunch size. My wife had chicken lettuce wraps and a California roll. Both were really good and she had leftover lettuce wraps. She also had a super yummy a Rising Dragon drink - like a pomegranate margarita. Everything was great but a little pricey for lunch.

Absolutely insulting! I have always loved PF Chang's food so I visited the Knoxville facility. I have a terminally ill husband and thought I would buy him a Special lunch. So, the Mongolian beef was chewy with a lot of rice. The side salad was a joke. If you want to pay $3.50 for 1 cup of cheap supermarket salad, order from them. This, was so appalling for a restaurant of this quality. I will not return.

Kung Pao Chicken Bowl

I'd never been to a PF Chang's before, and so I went to cross this one off the list. The atmosphere inside was very nice; it looked like a classy restaurant, had nice music, and a great set up. The restaurant was fairly empty, only 5 other tables in the whole establishment, but barely any staff. We were seated after waiting around for a few minutes. Our waitress was very nice and got our drinks quickly. We had the Lettuce Wraps, which we're kinda messy, but super delicious! My friend ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and rice. I had the Tempura Shrimp Roll. My friend loved his meal, but was kinda disappointed they piled it high with red pepper pods, which smelt like burnt nail polish. My rolls were delicious, but usually when ordering Tempura Rolls, they'll come out very hot from being recently fried, or cold, from being stored. Mine were room temp, and it was a bit of putting, but otherwise, I loved it. The waitress got us refills and checked up on us a few times. Overall, with the food and drinks, our bill was roughly $55.00.

Our decision to never come back here was validated by our fortunes. Lol!

Love the food but the prices are getting out of hand! Used to love to come here but we have started to find more affordable options.

My mom said Asia Kitchen is the best Chinese in the city now. Unfortunately if that is correct, then it makes me very sad. I have eaten at "Real" Chinese restaurants before and this is not close imo. I got Szechuan Beef...this is supposed to be a very spicy dish. My order was not spicy at all...not saying it was bland, but it didn't have the "kick" I was expecting. My mom shared a whole steamed fish with her friends. They did enjoy it, but it wasn't for me. I have decided to bump my rating up to four stars because of the wonton/egg drop soup. I didn't even realize this was a thing. We got one large serving and it was plenty for the table. Finally the reason i didn't give 5 stars was because of the table service. The others brought wine , but i ordered a Diet Coke when we were seated. Unfortunately it never arrived...our server acknowledged my order, but I guess she forgot during the dinner rush. I did have water so I didn't complain. Overall dinner was ok...it was very nice that we were allowed to take our time.

A robust menu with a lot to choose from. All of the standards plus more traditional dishes…read more Food was great and service was personable. We will return next time in the area.

We ordered a LOT so we could sample things- it was about $74 and around $84 after tax's and fees. Ordered was (also note combos include egg roll and either a type of rice Pelli mein): -Beef and broccoli combo white rice -Chicken lomein combo chicken fried rice -Egg drop soup -Extra egg rolls -Pork egg foo young -And moo goo with no mushrooms The eggs rolls are AMAZING! Would totally eat 10. Egg foo young was good and the sauce was interesting. It didn't taste like traditional brown sauce and had more of an almost sweet flavor but very slight, and the color was like chicken gravy and not even brown. Lo mein was good and had decent flavor, but border line bland. The white rice was nice and fluffy and not hard. As for the chicken fried rice it was very bland and very dry-super disappointed in that. Beef and broccoli combo with white rice was good and had good flavor. Food portions are small. The combination platters are not shareable so just a heads up. I would say overall the food flavor was decent but my normal Chinese place, there is a lot more flavor so I don't think we will be back as it wasn't quite worth the almost 40 minute drive to and then 50+ back home with traffic. But if you're close and want some decent inexpensive Chinese food-this is your spot to try! Oh and note if you're doing take out- you have to order and pay $1 for sauces. We got no sauces with our egg rolls and I noticed after you have to purchase them in packs. UPDATE: I have never in my life experienced such bad bloating! My brother and I both got sick after eating! We both look 8 months pregnant and have never experienced anything like it! Changed my rating to 2 stars!

There are several nearby lots also pay-to-park but some may be free on weekends. Kaizen appears to me to be more akin to an Izakaya than a noodle hosue, where you basically go for drinks and they supply some food to keep things going - it has a more expansive menu than an Izakaya (which tends to be yakitori and sushi) - Kaizen's menu features several noodle dishes which all looked very interesting. We started with the appetizers and ordered some mixed steamed buns and soup. All of the buns that I tried I liked quite a bit - some strong, distinctive flavors. For an entree I ordered the Koji-Cured Ribeye medium-rare - 12 oz sliced ribeye, gai lan, broad bean paste, steamed rice. The steak was cooked perfectly. The service was exceptional - the next night we tried Fin-Two Japanese Ale House across the street - this restaurant was my preference - the flavors seemed more authentic and the quality of the dishes better in my opinion.
