Rude and lazy help and high prices. They must have a high turnover because most of the help looks like first year high school dropouts.

I frequent this location 3X per week, as it offers Vegetarian items on my list of important lunches…read moreand dinners. The Natural food section of Wegmans may offer similar items, but prices are generally the same, and the variety of Vegan/Vegetarian items at Greenstar is more to my taste and palate. The breakfast hot bar includes Beyond sausage links and scrambled tofu (also buttermilk biscuits for the southern inner child in all of us). I especially like the Indian food options at Greenstar and the small lunch prepared foods like spanakopita, vegan club sandwiches, and burritos. Frozen foods offer Cascadian Farms frozen cherries, which augment my daily bowl of Oatmeal. The NA beer section is comprehensive including the latest offerings from Athletic.

They have such an extensive merchandise, and a wonderful prepared foods/baked goods section!! I recently tried the "Made to Order" sandwiches, and it was DELICIOUS. I made mine with BBQ seitan, hummus, vegan cheddar, vegan mayo, spring greens, tomato, + condiments on a baguette. So flavorful and such a wonderful size. I've also placed special orders for their cakes and it was sooo good. My family couldn't been believe it was vegan! Outside of their food, the staff is always super friendly and helpful with any inquiries. Additionally, the store is always super clean and never too busy. They also have CO-OP member savings which are amazing! I love GreenStar!! :)

A shout out to Trader Joe's snacks!…read more Dried Kalamata Olives in a snack? Only Trader Joe's would offer that. Well, we love Greek olives, so we tried the Olive & Herbs Mixed Nuts: roasted cashew and pecan pieces, roasted almond slices (in the bag and on the label, but not listed in the ingredients), dried Kalamata (made with sea salt, safflower oil, EVOO), lightly coated with a powdered herb mix (oregano, sage, thyme, basil, marjoram, rosemary). The nuts taste fresh, and shine through the herbs. Note: This is Not a trail mix. Be prepared for a real kick of Kalamata flavor! A number of us felt the olive flavor was too strong. For me, it was heavenly intensity. It does make for a snack to savor, more than one to dive into. And please consider if a Greek olive flavor will go with your beverage. Vodka? Sure. Gin? Maybe. I might try mezcal before tequila. I dont care what the "dirty" recipes say, I veto vermouth. Hmm. Moonshine or Everclear? Who says this can't be fun? This is an unusual snack due to a delightful pungency that is intensified by drying the Kalamata olives. Only Trader Joe's can be wrong And right in the same snack.

I was glad to snag multiple O&H Kringle for the holiday season without any problem! The bread selection is also a notable draw. Delicious! It has the chewy texture you love with the warm comfort of a bun coating. Prices are reasonable, produce is fresh. Aisles were clean and everyone working was nice. I was particularly excited to see they had various citrus plants for sale that were already fruiting! I didn't grab one this time but I do already regret it. It's hard to find mature plants like that. Parking was easy, there were plenty of spaces available. Accessible to those who need it as well.

Also some ready-to-eat asian food. There was even a tour boat docked out back. The range of goods was amazing. The open air market was a nice weekend activity.

Everything I purchased, I wish they had here in the city because I want more of it. I love when a farmer's market has items you can only find there. So first I had a homemade ginger ale which was delicious. I also had a breakfast burrito which was really good. I also purchased a leather belt which is beautiful and well made with genuine leather. I purchased a hair pin which is quite beautiful and I look forward to wearing. This is a must see, it was with the one hour drive, we spent the whole day here. Also we were able to get parking right in the front, just be patient. They also have a cool system of rescuing the silverware which was great.
