Ozzell Bowl is a 10 pin bowling centre, the only one in St. Austell and as far as I am concerned is fab! My kids love going their to bowl and the kids shoes start from a tiny toddler sized 6 and go right up to a huge size that I am sure would accomodate most people!! There are ramps for smaller kids to roll balls down, and they have bumpers that they pull up to help kids too plus small weighted balls, so the whole family can join in! They also have a bar, do basket meals, and have pool tables and amusement games to keep kids amused once you finish your game of bowling. The staff are friendly, and they do kids parties as well where they provide the party bags and you can bring in your own cake which they bring out for you when you want. Basically great fun for everyone, great for adults in the evenings they do Halloween parties and discos at different times of the year and week. Most definitely recommended, especially for keeping the kis amused on a raining school holiday day!!!x read more

ozzell bowl has never changed since i used to eat there at lunchtime when i was college. it is a quality bowling centre which has i think 8 or poss 10 lanes and has several theme nights such as discio bowling. quality place for all the family. read more

i can honestly say i have never been so disapointed, a party of five of us went out with the intention of having 3 sets of games only to find that after driving the 8.5 miles to st Austell the staff had decided to turn us away as they said that as it was quiet they were going to shut up shop 2 hours early, all i can say is that in this day and age if you can afford to turn away 5 people wanting 3 games each because your sat in there with all the lights flashing whilst sitting with approximately 12 people drinking you really do not deserve to be open at all. i have been to this establishment many times over the past 10 years and never been treated like this, don't waste your time or money after all they will probably be shut!!!!!!! read more

OMG! How rude. I and numerous family members including young children went bowling here for a birthday treat this weekend. The bowling was fine but the customer service was absolutely terrible. The one barstaff member had no idea about good customer service. 3 members of my group bought a drink to find it was completely flat. After taking just a sip they returned their drinks to the bar to politely inform the staff that maybe the gas needed changing and could they please change their drinks. This was met with a torrent of rudeness. The barman point blank refused to change them and was very aggressive. When the manager came over we politely said the drinks were flat to which he took the drink, drank out of the glass then passed it back to us and said it tastes alright to me. He then expected my family member to drink out of the same glass. On requesting a new glass he took the pint full of drink from my family member and poured him a new half a pints worth instead??? even though we had paid for a pint. His attitude the whole time was very unproffessional, very deffensive and damn right nasty. We had paid alot of money to bowl here and this treatment over informing them the drink was a bit flat was discusting. I tried to reason with the bar staff that this was a bit OTTover a flat pint to which he said he would no longer serve us even though he was receiveing simple customer feedback. I then decided I would no longer bowl as my evening had been ruined by poor treatment. I asked for my money back to which the manager replied thats ok weve taken £300 pound tonight anyway. I then said whatever happened to the customer is always right and informed him he was very unproffessional. He then said well the customer isnt always right are they. The whole night was a complete farce, our custom was obviously not appreciated and the place is run by amateurs who seriously need to be sent on a customer service course. Coming from many years in a customer service background I would say this is the worst treatment I have ever received. If you want a night out or to take your family for a treat find somewhere that appreciates your custom because Ozzell Bowl definately do not. read more
