Set up was quick and easy, and the venue is absolutely beautiful! The location was perfect, and since it was just after Christmas when they got married the Christmas lights and the tree in the square made for magical pictures. The outside patio was perfect when quests wanted to cool off or take a break from the dancing, and the staff was lovely and timely when it came to the tear down process, getting us all home at a resonable time. I would absolutely suggest the Veridian for any event, especially weddings.

Anyone interested in sports will find displays of interest. Signed balls and jerseys, rare photographs, plaques and statues, programs and other great empheria. Some interactive exhibits, too! Push the wall button and watch Whitey Herzog come alive and give the team a pep talk. Watch unique sports videos! I went on an overcast Tuesday afternoon and was the only visitor. I felt like a kid in a candy store! Browsed for an hour plus, then a stroll thru a great outdoor statue garden. Well worth a visit!!

That just gave us more time to take in the many displays on Missouri sports (at a very reasonable price of just $5 per adult). You will find exhibits on many different sports, with baseball, football, and basketball having the greatest emphasis, but there's also smaller displays on sports such as NASCAR, tennis, horse racing, and branches of sports such as broadcasting, coaching, officiating, and sports medicine. And since we were able to take in a lot of information found there, we were very surprised to see people with ties to our high schools' (from which we graduated 10+ years prior) sports teams in the hall. The Hall of Fame was definitely the highlight of our trip to Springfield, and if you're a fan of any of Missouri's 5 pro sports teams or its college teams, it just may be the highlight of yours too.

There's a few people on TikTok. Including a woman with a six-year-old daughter that the lady also sicked her dogs on do not go here it is not open to the public. After this experience, I would never recommend this for anyone and I hope and pray nobody gets hurt by her dogs. She literally told us that we have to call and then sick her dogs on us. We had no idea That visiting a pretty princess castle with kids would turn out to our kids almost being mauled

Now if you're having a wedding at a castle out in what felt like the middle of nowhere Springfield you've got to do it in style. Dress code was standard wedding attire or Renfaire attire (it's a castle so come on). Not only was it very fitting for the couple that it was held at a fantasy castle, but that couple also does full armored medieval combat (Buhurt is the name of the sport) and had invited members of the St. Louis team (Legion of Honor) and their Springfield home team (The Iron Alliance). I run support for Legion of Honor and my wife flights for them so we got to be guests and participants. The whole event was excellent and there were no issues from what I could see (even with us throwing people around their lawn).

Although I personally feel like that has changed somewhat over the years, I think the Trolley Bike injects a heavy dose of fun to this city. For those who don't know, the Trolley Bike is a people powered monstrosity that is way more fun than the mere sum of its parts. A literal party on wheels, its unique combination of multi-passenger bicycle, music, alcohol, the outdoors, and 12 or so friends is what really characterizes the experience. As an avid indoors man, I couldn't tell you when I last hopped on a bike, much less enjoyed being outside in cold weather. The Trolley Bike, however, made both experiences fun. In short, this is one of the best additions to Springfield's (arguably short) "things to do" list. I would highly recommend a trip on the Trolley Bike.
