Dude quoted me a price on Saturday. I go back on Sunday and suddenly it's $50 more. Ok, I pay it. Get upstairs and the artist is talking to me while doing my two tatts. Everything is cool. When done, he put this clear bandage thing on my behind-the-ear tatt. Didn't tell me to move hair or anything. Hurt like a bitch to peel it off and ripped out strands of hair just because he was careless. Fast-forward to days/weeks later. As my arm tatt is healing... I keep admiring it only to realize it's so faded and looks like I've had it for years. This has never happened with any of my tattoos. I would go back and have them correct the issue, but I live 3.5 hrs away smh I don't really recommended this place. read more

Went to have my kids ears pierced had to pay in advance. He decided to no go through with it they kept The money even no a service was not performed. Also when we saw the piercer we were in a Small room and he was not wearing a mask. I will be reporting this later to county health inspector. read more

went w a friend to get her third hole pierced on her ears, nothing crazy. first and foremost the prices were ridiculous. the cheapest option was $100+ but whatever she went with it. the guy quickly did her ears and that was that. fast forward a few days and she is currently in the urgent care with two infected ears, and had to remove the piercings. waste of money sadly. read more

I went in there today and was told to pay a certain price and then when i went upstairs to the bald piercer he pierced my nose without showing me the dot beforehand. The bald guy is an asshole and they're illegally piercing there and when i asked for his business card he told me he didn't have one even tho if h he told us he had been piercing for 15 years. Went to get my daughters ears pierced today. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The man who pierced her ears was patient while she prepared herself and she barely flinched while he did the piercing. Thanks oxygen....if we need anything we'll be back!! read more

Went in to get my ears pierced. got my paperwork and paid at one store and then I had to walk to ANOTHER store to get pierced. When I got to the actual piercing place, they were closed. Still took me in because I had paperwork. Piercings turned out nice but it was WAY overpriced, over $90 for the two piercings. These people don't care about customer service just the money. I made an appointment and the guy behind the counter told me it would be no problem. I go back for my appointment the following Friday(9/13 @2) and I'm told the artist took a WALK-IN. I was asked to give the artist a half hour, okay no problem. I go back and I'm told I have to come back at 5 because he took on a thigh piece and won't be done till then. Now I'm pissed. Not only did this guy tell me to give him a half hour, now I'm being asked to come back three hours later! Go back for my now 5pm appointment they make me wait ANOTHER HOUR in their waiting room. When he asked me to pay I was charged $70 when I was priced $60. The guy behind the counter says IF I PAID IN CASH, then It would be $60. The guy that did my tattoo didn't seem to want to be bothered with and the guy behind the counter didn't seem to have a damn idea of what he was doing half the time. Afterwards neither one of the guys asked me/offered me aftercare. So glad I got a tattoo recently elsewhere that actually makes sure customers have what they need. Super disappointed when friends referred me to them. That's not how you handle people. read more

Don't ever go to Oxygen body piercing on Wildwood's boardwalk!! I took my daughter there to get her ears pierced and they discriminated against us because I am not her biological parent. I was required to show paperwork to prove it but any person could walk in and say they are the biological parent and answer a few questions correctly and get service. They would not let us answer questions at all because I said she was adopted! I told the manager he could not prove people were biological parents just from answering questions correctly but he said "oh I can just tell, I've been doing this a long time". Brought my teenage kids in to get their ears pierced. I was asked basic questions about whose children they were at first. Then again, and again, and again. The gentleman questioned their birthdates, asked for their ID. My child has the same last name on her ID card. Yet, he asked no less than 3 more times. He then proceeds to ask me if he can call their biological father. I went on to explain that I have sole custody of my kids so no we can't call their father. Now my daughter who has light skin is feeling insecure and definitely feeling as if this line of questioning was racially motivated. We are familiar with people not being familiar with the manner in which brown skin is beautiful and comes in all shades, but this gentleman was also brown skin. His excuse was that the state looks over their records. This I could understand if he copied their identification, but he didn't. So we came down for the elks convention and found ourselves at Oxygen tattoo. My brother had an idea and Hector, the artist, made it come to life and really did a nice job on it. All the guys working here are super cool and made it more of a hangout then a rushed in and out experience. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to get some cool ink! read more

Total scam!! McKenna henna tattoo artist extremely rude and unprofessional! My 13 year old daughter and 16 year old daughter recently went here for a henna. they were treated poorly by McKenna and misled on pricing. They were told if they both got henna they would get a better deal. When the henna was done my 13 year olds cost was $ 40.00. The next night I went up and asked for the henna book, it was thrown on the counter to me and without asking for the employees name I already knew this was McKenna based of her unprofessional manor. I asked her how much for the same henna she had given my daughter the night before and she said with no hesitation $ 25.00. I asked her if she was sure and she said "yep I did one last night"and pulled out a picture of my daughters henna she had taken on her phone!! I was blown away and immediately asked to speak to her manager. The manager said sorry for McKenna and said this was not their normal procedure and our daughter shouldn't have been charged this much.. We did not get our money back. Disappointing! Scammed $55 in 2 visits- for a yin yang henna tattoo and 2 bracelets. Yes, the yin yang tattoo had a border with it, but it was just dots. The tattoo artist was nice, so that's where the extra star comes from, other than the fact that the henna looked nice. The tattoo was more or less worth $15 at the max, but definitely not $25. Now, for the bracelets. Oh boy, was this the worst shopping experience of my life. I get it, it was night, so it was going to be crowded, which wasn't expected, but made sense. The first bracelet I picked up was metal, and only had 2 skulls on either end of a plain painted band. The man asked $15 for it. Okay, little pricey, $10 sounds better, but it was metal and so I didn't think about it much. Of course, when I went to the beach the next day, the paint started rubbing off after little water got on it, so at this point, it was worth more or less around $5. Now, for the second bracelet. Since I got the first bracelet, the man said that if I got another bracelet, he would give me a discount. Of course, there isn't set prices for anything in the store, so I wouldn't know how much any other bracelet off nor did I know how much the discount would take off. So, I finally found another bracelet- a skull bead with red stones in its eyes and fake diamonds with silver beads around it on an adjustable string. The man had the audacity to tell me that it was $17, but he'll give it to me for $15. I had a 10% off coupon, so I thought "That's fine, I have a coupon, it should take off a good bit." One, it didn't take off much, and two, the man didn't even like the fact that I had a coupon. I want to genuinely like this store, but if they're willing enough to rip off a teenager with no job, that's a real low for a store. Don't come here unless you want to spend $15-$20 on one bracelet and $25 for a VERY simple tattoo. read more

Definitely overpriced! And I got my nostril pierced last Thursday and the piercer used an exponentially small stud and didn't accommodate for swelling so it's sunken into my nose. It looks disgusting and I'm extremely pissed off. My tattoo came out wonderful and I absolutely loved it but it wasn't worth 100 dollars. I got one word in script and I paid 113. I have to say that I really liked this place. The staff was helpful and fun. My husband and I both got tattoos and the tattoo area was very very clean. I did have to wait a little bit. What I saw actually impressed me. There were teenage girls there with a family member, I think a stepmom. The woman processing the paperwork went through it with a fine tooth comb. I went in to get a tattoo priced, and it turned out WAY too expensive for the work I was showing. They tried to tell me "if I wanted to get it done well I have to pay that price". I'm from Philadelphia, and when I went back home my hometown tattoo parlor offered me $240 for the tattoo I wanted, while Oxygen said $350. I ended up getting the tattoo at home and it turned out amazing. I do not recommend paying the outrageous prices at this place at all! read more

We made an appointment for our daughter a week ago to get a $321 tattoo as her 18th birthday present to herself, she paid a 20% deposit and we went off and enjoyed our vacation week. When we showed up today, the last day of our vacation, for her scheduled appointment, we were abruptly informed that the artist had a family emergency yesterday and they weren't sure if he would be coming to work today. When I asked why my daughter was not called and informed that the artist would not be at work today, especially since the emergency happened yesterday and they had my daughter's information including her phone number, the two gentlemen who were working behind the counter immediately became extremely angry, informed me that they have no idea when the artists have appointments and accused me of not being a compassionate person who probably has a job and should understand when emergencies come up and people can't make it to work. When I explained to them that we were leaving to go back home today, had already checked out of our hotel, that my daughter was extremely excited to get her first tattoo that she had been looking forward to all week, and that I did in fact have a job as a business manager who completely understands that emergencies do come up for employees, but that a good business who cares about its customers would know when appointments are scheduled, make phone calls to the customers giving them options such as refunding their deposit, selecting a different artist, or perhaps scheduling another appointment, I was told that the money should be the least of my concerns since the artist has a sister who is dying. I told them that, although I did feel bad for the artist, my daughter was my concern, that she works extremely hard for her money and I wanted to make sure that she would get her deposit back if the artist didn't show up for work today. It was then that they made some phone calls and miraculously another artist showed up who was able to do her tattoo. My daughter told me that the artist who did show up was extremely rude to her, made it very clear to her that "he just wanted to get this over with" and that she would never, ever go back there again. The customer service we were shown today was deplorable! They clearly do not care about their customers and care only about the money. Our family goes to Wildwood every year and they lost a customer in my daughter who would have potentially gone to them every summer, but I am sure if the two men behind the counter and the tattoo artist who did show up today were asked, they would state that they couldn't care less. Go somewhere else - it's expensive and the people working there are as ignorant as they come! read more
