The artist John became extremely rude "even though I was a returning costumer"- he started yelling and refused to do my tattoo just because the appointment wasn't under my name. He then sent me to another artist who unfortunately did a poor-quality job. I left feeling disrespected and upset. I wouldn't recommend this shop due to their unprofessional behavior and lack of respect for customers. The shop is aesthetically pleasing and comfortable, most importantly clean. The art that flows from Ed Bells hands is a force to be reckoned with. You will find many talented artists in the area, but none of them top Ed Bell, and you can't change my mind. Clean crisp lines, vivid color and stories clearly told though each piece. What I really like about getting work done by Ed, is that he's not super heavy handed - some areas of the body can be more painful for others - it varies person to person, but I've never had a level of discomfort that I couldn't tolerate. Ed is extremely caring about anyone that walks through his shop door for work - and you feel it immediately. Ive also had several piercings done by Jessica, and she's just as wonderful in her own respective trade. Precision and attention to detail is just as important, and Jessica makes me feel at ease when she's poking new holes ! I absolutely love this shop, and it's my number 1 in Slower Lower. We exchanged phone numbers so we could exchange ideas and talk about details for the tattoo. And when Sunday came I texted her I was on the way and asked if she does discounts because my family has been there and has gotten tattoos from that place. She said,"No discounts, sorry. They don't get discounts, they've paid what the artists asks when they come and they are respectful about that. I put a lot of care into my pricing to reflect my experience, the quality of my work, and the time I dedicate to each piece. I understand if it's not the right fit for you right now, but I want to make sure I'm working with clients who fully align with and respect my process.
