The OXIDE studio is a small studio located in the Willo Historic Neighborhood in central Phoenix.
Owner Dan Moore is a practicing graphic designer, photographer and metal worker who focuses on the needs of local residents who want a unique, functional and lasting addition to their living space.
His botanical themes are influenced by many years of hiking and backpacking throughout Arizona where some of the most unique plants in the world exist.

History
Established in 2010.
Shortly after earning his Bachelor Of Fine Arts in both Graphic Design and Photography from the University of Iowa, Daniel Moore moved to Phoenix, AZ., where he worked full time as a graphic designer for a variety of corporate entities. Inspired by the works of Ansel Adams, in addition to his day job, he pursued his love of photography by photographing the natural world while hiking, backpacking and mountain biking throughout Arizona. Over the years, Moore has had exhibitions of his photographs in many local galleries. At his last position, his skill set expanded to 3-Dimensional pieces, which is where he taught himself to weld and found a new respect for and appreciation for steel.

Meet the Business Owner: Daniel M.
Daniel Moore has been commissioned to create many works on all scales by over 100 private clients, both commercial and residential. His completed projects include classic sculptural pieces, memorable freestanding works, gateways, enclosures, furniture and more. All exploring and utilizing metal to combine iconic design that reflects a sense of timelessness and permanence while expressing the visions of the customer.
Through his work as an artist, Moore creates spaces that enhance the built environment, invites personal interaction, and reveals the unspoken relationships between nature and humanity. He engages the public through his works of art by identifying themes meaningful to each specific site and community.
