We searched for a well-reviewed upholstery cleaner on Yelp, and phoned Reggie, company…read morerepresentative, regarding pricing and to discuss his company's professional approach. The service call with Reggie and the cleaner, Phil, a skilled service professional, it was the representation of a first-rate operation. We have had carpets and upholstery cleaned many times over the last 43 years of home ownership, and we must say that All Star Chem-Dry service rates among the best, if not the very best. Phil, our designated cleaner, sent a reminder of when he was scheduled to arrive an hour ahead of time and sent a message letting us know of his arrival. He was friendly and personable but also efficient in setup and work. He worked tirelessly for over two hours. There were a few stubborn clay stains from our pet's paws that Phil deep-cleaned repeatedly until they disappeared. In addition, the price estimate was "spot on." Once Phil arrived, the items to be cleaned were given an up-close exam and a final price for cleaning. I liked knowing what the final bill was going to be before Phil began cleaning. Well, it's done, now -- and our family room is simply beautiful -- and the living space smells especially fresh and clean. We thank you. [First visit charge: Approximately $360] Update! About a week after Phil cleaned our furniture so beautifully, our dog ran in from outside with a muddy paw and messed up a corner of one cushion. Phil returned to clean the spot and, within 15 minutes, removed the spot and sold me some of their special cleaner he used. Remarkable! We are totally satisfied with this company. [Second visit charge: $30]

We received a timely call back from David which was pleasing but the conversation went downhill from there. He immediately brushed us off and referred us to Stanley Steamer. David stated they had better prices and he was booked out with an obscene amount of time uncharacteristic for carpet cleaning. We were never quoted a price. The call experience was brief and cold. This left us perplexed and unsettled. In disbelief, we phoned a friend to help confirm our suspicions. This friend has a more accepting name and voice we suppose. Our friend was able to get pricing and immediate availability for carpet cleaning. It's dissappointing in the year 2025 that we can still be discriminated upon via phone for a simple service considering the state of this economy; especially considering that our payment, like anyone else's, is equally valid.

The few stains we had are gone. They did more than they promised with the berber, but apparently it's really difficult to clean. We were mostly concerned about getting all the dog hairs out of it, so they used their powerful vacuum on it. They cleaned the rooms in a logical order. They left the carpets not too wet, so it was easy enough to walk on them. They were extra careful with my great-grandmother's dining set. I was altogether impressed, and impressed by what seemed to be a pretty low price! They even paused for a while because I had to have the cable guy there at the same time. Great Price. Excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend them to anyone cleaning carpets.

Out of frustration, I had decided to just replace the carpet with hardwood floors throughout the main level. A trusted friend recommended we try I-V-LEE first and we're so glad we did. We've used others cleaning services before with okay results, but Vince exceeded our expectations. We will only be using this company going forward.
