Thankfully I came across Cortona, it was like love at first site. Im not just talking just the apartment but the staff was just phenomenal all around. Each and everyone worker was super helpful, understanding, and went above and beyond every time. Maintainer is like magic, they are so damn fast! The apartment is insanely great. The pool is to die for and great for hosting friends & bbq. The neighbors were super kind, generous, and fun. Cortona has events every couple month to get the community together, like, cocktail hour, game night, holiday parties & even events for your doggo. I have a 110 pound shepherd & they welcomed him like their own. The place has a grooming area for the doggo that allows you the wash your dog and blow dry them, not to include the huge dog park. If I did not purchase a home I would have lived here until I did, I absolutely love this place and will miss it dearly. Thank you Cortona for this amazing experience!

The gym also looked amazing--there's a separate fitness room where they have a virtual digital fitness trainer that you can sync your device for. Parking is also free (1 car per apartment unit). It's also walking distance from the Richmond Heights Community Center and Library!

Everyone in the leasing office as well as neighbors are very friendly. Also, they're always running community events so it's easy to meet your neighbors. The apartment itself is great and spacious. The kitchen comes with a large sink and a large kitchen island. Appliances looked very new and all were in working condition. The closet in my bedroom is big enough to be a small office. The unit also has washer and dryer which is really convenient. The apartments also provide lots of amenities like a gym, pool, grill, clubroom, and even private study spaces. Also there's a secure mail room with a cool locker system. It gives me peace of mind knowing my online purchases are safe when they're delivered. The location of the apartments is really convenient. It is walking distance to all the restaurants and bars in the grove. If you're trying to hit up downtown St. Louis or CWE, it's a 5-7 minute drive.

Unfortunately, we have had many water leaks from the ceiling and the recessed lights. After yesterday's storm the "fixes" that the maintenance crew used previously have failed and the ceiling has caved. The water is now spreading in the ceiling to multiple rooms of the penthouse causing massive leaks and water build up. This is now impacting apartments below us. The maintenance crew has been unresponsive for mitigation actions. They will not cover any of the furniture or tarp the failing roof areas to mitigate further damages, after multiple requests. They have also used our beautiful china and our trash cans to catch water from the leaks. Finally, no one will speak with us about the remediation plan.

When we moved in, the unit was dirty, with paint splatter on the floor. A cleaner was promised she showed up, barely touched the bathroom, then left and never came back. From day one, the WiFi didn't work for three days. The toilet had to be fixed six times before it functioned properly. The kitchen sink has leaked and exploded twice. The dishwasher leaked and fell out of the counter. The living room AC stopped working, and management initially refused to fix it due to "overtime" until legal action was mentioned. There's been a bedroom leak for four months that still hasn't been resolved. The only response has been putting in loud industrial dehumidifiers and repeatedly pulling up and re-gluing the same wet flooring. The living room windows leaked , twice. Hot water has been out for multiple days. The "luxury" amenities? Often broken , for example, the theater room was out of order for four months. Despite paying nearly $3,000/month, we've received nothing close to a livable, finished space. Management avoids real solutions and defaults to temporary fixes and dismissive responses. We asked for a lease break or one month of rent credit , both were ignored. If you want ongoing repairs, loud equipment in your bedroom, and unresponsive management this is the place for you.
