When you come in for a 1.5-hour tour which costs $5 per person, you get to cuddle and feed the alpacas, learn about their breeding process and really make friends with them if you show them some love. The whole experience is very soothing and fun, and even though we did not attend the yoga sessions, we are still very satisfied for Kim's hospitality and passion. Definitely would recommend this to people of all ages and this is very family friendly.

A few friends and I attended an alpaca yoga class here and had a really fun time. Vintage Alpacas…read moreFarm is an unsuspecting farm in Brooklyn Heights. You're basically driving through industrial areas until you spot a little yellow alpaca sign. Drive down a little gravel road and then you'll be shocked to find a little farm! The owner, Kim, is very nice and extremely passionate about her work. The Alpaca Yoga class is held in the grassy field towards the back of the farm. To encourage the alpacas to visit your mat, Kim will put out buckets of food to encourage interactions. Alpacas are quite funny. I learned they don't like being touched on their head/face but rather their neck and behind! They move quickly and like slow, thoughtful movements. My favorite alpaca was Sadie. She's a cutie girl that is really well-adjusted to people and constantly came over for pets! I loved this little spot and we'll absolutely be back! Animal yoga is oddly relaxing. You don't need to be good at yoga to take an Alpaca Yoga class. Just try! It's really more about the therapeutic benefits of the animal, in my opinion.

We went with a lovely balsam fir. They're pricier, but smell so delightful once inside the home. They even had some pie pumpkins for sale. Asked the boys if they wanted me to make pie and the family were willing to just give us a pumpkin. Also offered cookies and hot cocoa. We were full from our great lunch down the road at Tinkers Creek Tavern, so all we left with was a tree. Great combo, though. If we had more time, we would have started with a hike.

Still a 5-star, family-run farm, but worth an update!…read more For the past two years we've been cutting our own trees here at Swan Farm. This year, since Thanksgiving was so late in the month, we didn't get here quite in time to cut our own. However--we did purchase a pre-cut Scotch Pine that was huge and perfect, for only $48. Their pre-cut trees are brought in from another Ohio farm, and haven't been sitting around since August. Ours was cut maybe a week before we purchased it, not even. Even though picking out and cutting down your own tree is a special treat, snagging one of these pre-cut trees didn't take away from the wonderful experience and customer service. The gal outside walked us over to the Scotch Pines and even helped us measure the tree to make sure it would fit in our house. Once we did pick it out, we were sent inside while they safely secured this huge tree to our car. This is the kind of service I love! Inside, I'm assuming the owner of the farm checked us out--and asked us if we'd been there before. He's always so warm, welcoming and talkative! The little guy was able to warm up with a cup of hot cocoa and a candy cane (free inside!), so he was happy! My favorite tree farm in CLE+!!

I always perceived Drug Mart to be a lower tier convenience store. I'll never think that again…read moreafter visiting this store. It's the best Drug Mart in the area - very spacious, tidy, well lit, welcoming, and looking brand new/renovated. The best way to describe it is a combination of convenience store (regular Drug Mart) and grocery store. Employees are very pleasant, have friendly small talk with the customers, and answer any questions. Exemplary customer service! This store has HUGE assortment: -Fresh and vibrant produce that looks like it could have been at the farmers market. Quite a variety of veggies! Yams were 99 cents which is very budget friendly! -Variety of books. No trending reads, but a decent selection of various genres -Windshield wipers! I have never seen windshield wipers at a convenience store and loved this find! -Seeds for all your spring gardening! -Enough grocery aisles to avoid going to the grocery store! They have poultry, meats, and many aisles of food. There's even a decent global foods aisle! -Dollar aisle! It's more like discounts aisle, but still very useful! -OSU merch! Shirts and Championship Coke. No glass bottles yet, but for $1.99 I wouldn't mind owning this memorabilia! -Cough drops galore. I stopped in for cough drops and wasn't prepared to see so many choices. That was a pleasant surprise. My only criticism is that the store is not very logically organized. Plan for extra time to wander around and check off your shopping list. For instance, it took me several circles around the store to find baby wash that wasn't located by the diapers. Same with the bakery aisle. I was hoping to find famous Mama Jo's pies found at this location but it took me awhile to find baked goods at the back of the store. Other than that, I was very pleased with my shopping trip. Note: This store serves as an Amazon pickup location. Of course it does because it has everything!!!
