Not the greatest, this place did not live up to the expectation of how a resort should be. Complaint 1, The Icemaker in our fridge was spitting out 2 ice cubes every 4hrs. By the time morning came. I only had only 7 ice cubes. There is no other ice machines in the area. Complaint 2, this was a big one for me. Local channels were not available on their cable network! I wanted to watch the NBA FINALS which was being televised on ABC. This is unacceptable! Even their network is lagging. The response time is terrible. I had to download an app just because this Resort does not accommodate local channels as part of their cable network. This is a must. Unacceptable coming from a Resort. Complaint 3, the USB ports were not working properly! Only 1 USB outlet worked out of the 8. So annoying. Complaint 4, Went swimming and had to dry my clothes. The dryer was not getting hot. My clothes were not drying. Unacceptable Most part, this Resort has potential to be great due to its location. The amenities really is not the greatest, if it is not being maintained. Staff is friendly. You get charged by the day for parking. The swimming pool is tiny. There are over 400 rooms and this is the best this resort has to offer.. at tiny pool with a tiny recreation workout room and small jacuzzi. Overall, nice location and clean resort. This place can use some maintenance and upgrades to accommodate their guest. I am neutral..since my experience was not to good. But eventually will give it another go in the future. I was impressed with all the little extras like organic soap (made locally), luxurious shower with two different heads, reverse osmosis drinking water, free wi-fi and cable. It was also nice to get to do my laundry there (another freebie) while sitting in the hammock under an amazingly fragrant trumpet tree. It felt good to know that the owner of this property cares enough about the environment to install solar panels on this property. When was the last time you noticed solar panels on the local Marriott? The location to this place was so conveniently located to Balboa Park as well as South and North Park my girlfriend and I usually just rode our bikes. I received 3 quotes fairly quickly and decided on using Correct Appraisals. Yelp app marked them as "Verified License" and also I liked the background of the owner when I checked out the website. Corbin had posted his experience online. Also liked that he had spent some time in New York Metro area for at least 8 years. Appraisal was done quickly. As far as the report goes, very detailed with sales comparison analyses and photos. Service was fast, quick, and efficient. Great communications. Very detailed and thorough report.
