These guys clearly work on some kind of commission with all the outlandish charges and dishonest work they claimed they did and much that was not ever needed. I was having issues with my salons air conditioning --they sent out a tech who said there were no issues with my unit but of course still charged me (for two hours of work and he was there less than hour). Two days later air still wasn't working so called again. They sent another tech who said my unit needed Freon but that I had declined it on the initial visit. Unfortunately the original tech left internal notes that I declined the Freon and that I said my unit was working fine, none of which I said. So the second tech suggested the Freon would fix the issue and told me it was 200 a pound again charged me for hours he was not there again) . So again two days later still not working and now it's leaking everywhere, they sent out another tech which I did not approve (i asked they let me know he was coming in case I didn't need him anymore) who said there were no issues and of course they charged for a visit that I did not authorize and was not there for and of course said he was there another two or three hours and was there maybe 45 minutes (btw this is another different tech). Finally had another tech came out and told me I needed a new unit because all the lines are corroded and won't hold any Freon or cool the unit. Why did it take three previous trips and over 1500 dollars in charges for this company to now tell me I need a new unit because the lines are al corroded. I ended up getting a new unit from another company because the guy Chris arranging the installation for spectrum said he could do it on a certain day (because it was important this is fixed asap it had already been a week with no air in my salon) and when it came to the date he said he never said that (i have every email from him saying otherwise) I went with them because he said they could do it on a certain date (even though there quote was 7000 higher than the other I got). So after all of this they want to charge over 2000 dollars for exaggerated hours that they were at my shop, dishonest accounts of what happened while at my shop, recommending corrections they knew would not work to make an extra buck . (If the lines are so corroded why are we adding all this Freon and multiple visits to figure out) the last guy that came from spectrum) even told me he didn't know why they did all that ad it would never hold the Freon because of how corroded all the lines were, why was it so obvious to him and the other company I called for a quote but took this company three guys before the forth said I needed a new unit) this company will take advantage of you and charge you for Multiple--- visits some you didn't authorize and work they know won't work just to make an extra buck. It terrible how dishonest some companies will be. I do highly recommend AMC Services for all your conditioning needs, very very honest and fair pricing (no scams there). I'm sure they will get on here and claim differently but I have all the receipts and the notes from my new ac company about all the unnecessary work that was done for an obvious problem.
