If i had been i would asked for options to save the tooth. If the tooth was not saveable i would have insisted that a temporary tooth be made and put in immediately after the extraction. These are options i believe any competent dentist would have offered to thier patient. Who would be willingnto walk around without a front tooth for several weeks? When i saw that it was a front tooth that had been removed i was livid. When i complained i was initially laughed at, then told they would make me a temporary tooth for $600. I later had a temporary made that cost me $225. I felt like i had been setup and blindsided. In my opinion this is a practice for charity cases or medicaid recipients who dont have many cHoices. if u have options i would avoid these folks

At least four different dentists over about a five year period told us they would not pull them and said we would have to get an oral surgeon to do the job. Last year we changed insurance. We told them about our problem with his wisdom teeth. They made an appointment with Dr. Ronald J. Macafee. The doctor informed us that he is not an oral surgeon but he will definitely give it a try. If he could not do the task he would send us over to Detroit Receiving. Dr. Macafee was very knowledgeable about his work and clearly informed us of his skills. When he started the job I knew he definitely had much experience under his belt. He removed the teeth with no problem, unlike all the other seemingly unskilled or unknowledgeable dentists we've run into over the years. We are extremely happy with his work. Also, the receptionist was very nice and friendly. We would definitely recommend them.

He is super attentive and you would be hard pressed to find a dentist who cares more. Dr. Duchan is a perfectionist and he dedicates his time to each of his patients. I called and called to schedule my follow up appointment. No one answered. Like any other normal…read moreperson would do I left a voicemail message. No one called me back. I sent a text message and email no response. I decided to walk in to schedule an appointment. The lady at the front desk said their phone service is down and they are waiting on comcast to fix it. I explained, I also sent an email. Her response was our system is completely down and nothing we can do until comcast address it. This went on for over three weeks. I never received my mouth guard. She was supposed to call me back to pick my guards up after they were ready, she never called. Keep in mind this is three weeks later. I have the same issue prior to that. They weren't available for pick up after I popped up. The dentist is fine, but the customer is an absolute waste of time. Everything must be communicated in person because they obviously don't have reliable phone or internet service. It's hard to believe a dentist office doesn't have service for almost a month. She such lair! Run.
