When Natalie first came to our home to do a consultation she was very thorough and gave great tips and ideas. Fast forward a few weeks and we were hitting the ground running. She had the measurements for the areas that we needed to update and declutter. When we arrived at the furniture store she was able to quickly envision the style we needed and picked out our new sofas for our living room and family room. Once our furniture was delivered, that's when the real fun began. Natalie arrived ready to work!! She helped my sons declutter their rooms, being 17 and 9 that can be a real challenge, but that didn't scare her! After she throughly went through every room and living spaces, she was ready to create her masterpiece!! Just when we decided to put our home on the market, COVID-19 hit!! We were not sure what to do at this point, do we sell do we stay?? We were Natalie's first COVID-19 client and she put our minds at ease when she said let's do Speed Staging!!! You might ask, what is that?!? Speed Staging is when you have minimal staging and can use the majority of the existing furniture in the home. All you need is a few additional props and maybe rearrange furniture. I have a 4 bedroom 2 bath 2000 sq home and Natalie was able to stage every room and take pictures for our realtor in 3 hours, and that includes packing up her props that she brought with her. After seeing the miracle Natalie pulled off, I said what every stager wants to hear, " I think I want to keep my home"! I didn't realize that staging with minimal change and a few props really made a HUGE difference We immediately provided the staging photos to our realtor and our house hit the market!! We instantly had buyers wanting to come and see our home ASAP! We screened every buyer before letting them in our home as we were now in a Federal Shelter in Place due to COVID-19. We had 6 buyers come tour our home, of course wore gloves, masks and booties. The very last buyer was really excited to see my home. She told her realtor, this is the only house I want to see!! She loved everything about the home! After seeing the home in person, she loved it even more!! She asked her agent to write up an offer ASAP. Our agent received her offer that evening and we accepted it!! We were only on the market for 9 days and went into contract 10k over asking price! Fast forward to April 10. Due to COVID-19, Lenders are not doing full appraisals, only drive-by appraisals and because of the wonderful staging and pictures the buyers appraiser was able to complete the appraisal and value the home at 10k above asking price!! If you are familiar with real estate this is HUGE!! We are more than satisfied with Natalie's services and highly recommend her. In fact the buyer of our home, her agent was so impressed with the staging and listing photos, he could not stop talking about the staging and grabbed some of her business cards to give out to other agents that may need staging service, himself included!
