Inside there were plaques commemorating the soldiers from Willamantic, who served in World War 1, World War 2, and the Vietnam War. There were picnic tables in front and some short walking paths. I did notice some sketchy characters at the picnic area in front of the memorial; not sure how safe it is at night time. The playground was a large and boundless one. There were two playscapes for kids of different age groups. There were swings and benches; it's not the cleanest, there were some trash on the ground. My children enjoyed playing there though. The ball field is pretty open and spacious. Overall, a decent recreational space for the residents.

However, there are several places to park along this path that meanders betwixt Kennedy Drive and the Quinebaug River. There are so many positives! Along this path is a dog park, a bike fix-it station, a seasonal farmers market, fishing spots, kayak drop locations, and places to bebop over and eat. It is rarely crowded, and well kept. If that weren't enough they have picnic areas, quasi clean portapotties, story time stations changed seasonally, and some kid play areas. They thought of it all! Come take a stroll and take a nature bath!

I acknowledged and proceeded to pay for our lane. He came by again within 5 min to let our whole party know, again, that no outside food or beverage was allowed. (We heard the message loud and clear the first time.) The happy meal was still sealed and never touched. I got up instantly to throw it away in front of my son to adhere to thier policy. He cried, but thankfully we were spared a third reminder. I felt like this was very unprofessional and extremely rude. We spent over $200 while we were there. I will not be going back.

DO NOT…read morebase any decisions on prior reviews as I suspect, and this is my opinion, the majority are fictional, fake, made up, bogus. First the place is nasty, if I were to cut myself or my kid was to scrape a knee I would be worried about a serious infection. Next Webster is not the best place to visit, I have always found it to be quite questionable. Prices are extremely high when compared to bowling alleys. In short if you have options exercise them, if you dont, order take out and STAY HOME. Again this is my opinion, should you experience something other, more positive, consider yourself lucky and buy a Mega Millions ticket.

It is a nice place for a casual stroll but is probably best know for it's summer music series.. Some really good music can be heard coming from this park in the warm months. The park also has some very nice tennis courts, bathrooms, a drinking fountain and a nice gazebo right in the middle. Not a whole lot of room for hiking but a pleasant place for a bit of strolling or dog walking. Once of the coolest things about the park is the touching memorial for the armed forces veterans that came from the area. A park that manages to fit and do a lot of very cool things in a relatively small area.

Came here recently for a birthday party & was actually pleasantly surprised because I had no idea…read morethis establishment even existed. Well first off- the inside and outside are a bit run down. I don't think they have changed anything much since it was built- or it appears that way anyway. Even the roller skating flooring looks original- but I could be wrong. They had about 6 birthday parties going at once- which was fine. The floor is decent sized and they have music- which is great. They also have a decent sized arcade- which is surprisingly affordable but beware- ski ball didn't work, terminator didn't work. I didn't get to try the pizza- but it looked ok. Overall- seemed like not a bad place to take the kids when you're bored if you live nearby & I heard the birthday party packages are extremely affordable! The skates- were not that- great. They were actually really old and difficult to use and maneuver. Even when I was skating straight- they kind of would veer to the sides. But what do I expect? One bummer for sure is- they don't rent rollerblades- but you can definitely bring your own! I'm rating 4 stars based on location, & affordability. I would rate 3.5 overall. Over here there is NOTHING around and quite frankly- we are in the middle of nowhere.
