Great place to stop in and have a couple. Relaxed, friendly staff, nice rooftop for outdoor atmosphere.

The great staff, homey background, and absolutely delectable food are all to die for. Now about the food, I personally went for the jerk chicken, which if you have ordered before you know is usually either an overly spicy mess or the best decision you've made that week. Thankfully at MJ's it was the latter, with bursting spicy, sweet, and salty flavors that created heaven between 2 brioche buns. Also, the blue rice was a nice touch. Even the bathroom looked like a mini spa, with the sink looking like the material it's made of ends in "ite". Summarized, best restaurant ever. 10/10 recommend.

The restaurant had a tropical shirt miami beach theme that made me want a golden girls kaftan. We had a larger party so we booked a reservation the night before. Our table was ready on time and we were quickly seated. Our sever was attentive and quick to get drink and food orders. I wasn't drinking but the tropical summer theme certainly carried over into their drink menu. I ordered the poutin-ish for my meal not quite sure what curry I would get and happily it was Japanese style curry sauce. It was a perfect meal for the morning. Would love to go back again sometime.

(I'm still partial to Krispy Kreme however that's quite a drive from here.). The place is rather large, the dining area indoors looks like it's good for at least 30 people anyways and then the outdoor porch weather permitting is probably good for another 20. I arrived about 15 minutes after they opened and the line was forming pretty quickly however it also moved along pretty quickly. The person that takes your order is not the same person that gets your donuts and puts them in the box, so that seems to streamline things pretty well. There's a display up by the cash register with one of every donut that is currently being sold that morning/day so you can make your selection easier. The menu is a little more extensive than donuts, as they also have hoagies and shareables and of course coffee/ juices. For whatever reason, somebody decided to put donuts with beer... Yeah I don't know... But, if the mood strikes you they have a very fine selection that they rotate from time to time of draft beer. It's a pour your own kind of a thing and they also sell growlers. There's of course t-shirts and other random souvenirs that not only have the company logo/wording but Owego in general. Bottom of mind this place is definitely worth a visit.

Once for a bonfire! Lol It's a local thing. They have a wonderful casual deck. I love sitting out there. On this last visit, we skipped the beers, and went straight for Babe's burgers. They are stationed on the deck. I ordered their burger with carmelized onions, tomatoes, and lettuce. Pickle on the side. The tomato was a farm fresh Tomato which is AWESOME! It was a local farm grown tomato, and the burger was delish. We ordered a small fries, and 3 of us shared them, and still threw some out. Yes, a small is that large. They don't sell drinks at the babes burger window. We got those at the bar. They had a free water jug, with plastic cups. I ordered a Waterloo sparking water, one friend had regular water, and the last had a soda. Because the owner makes their own beer there. I highly recommend checking them out, for beers and burgers. We didn't order any this time, because we were getting ready to go on a long drive. But....Since I live there, I can confirm their beer is worth it! I love their casual atmosphere, it's a great place to go to talk and dine. It's a local place, so it wouldn't be awkward to see go there and run into friends and start combining tables. Everyone is super friendly, so if you're ever lonely or bored, it's a great place to stop by, and hang out, you're almost guaranteed to make new friends. Parking can be tricky if they are busy, but people park on the street as long as they don't block any cars from getting by. I also love that they allow dogs, on leash, and they can't beg. Common sense rules, so don't leave your dog at home. Bring them out!

The furnishings on the one side of the bar part are very cool and mid-century modern looking. There are a couple food trucks outside. Dog friendly, which is always a plus for dog owners and there were people there celebrating birthdays, playing board games or just hanging out at the bar. It was a sweet cool vibe and can't wait to come back and check out the food trucks and taste more of their fantastic brews. They come here pretty often, love craft beer, and this is their favorite brewery. The space is large, and bright, with a bit of an industrial touch to the architecture. There is indoor and outdoor seating. This is a nice spot to get together with friends and we saw kids running around too. There is shuffleboard, bean bag toss, and another game I wasn't familiar with. There is a BBQ restaurant inside too, which you order separately from the alcoholic drinks. The bathrooms are gender neutral single stalls. (They had period products available in a little basket.)
