Take two of the most popular local pastries - ensaymada and bibingka - and give it a gourmet twist and you have a recipe for success. The base ensaymada that they offer is soft, fluffy and has a subtle sweetness off-set by sharp cheese. The bibingka is also soft but has a chewy bite that is usual for this glutinous rice pastry. They've put a modern twist on these classics with flavors like salted caramel ensaymada and ube-macapuno bibingka.
They also have a lot of other unique goodies like the dense and flavorful chocolate yema muffin or their popular 3-bite buns. They have these in oreo, blueberry cheesecake, almond cream and the super cute street barbecue bun which is shaped like a little piggy. They have different flavors for their pastries each time I go there so there's always something new to try.
Given they use high-quality ingredients and a unique combination of flavors, I'd say that this is a must-try for any bread lover. Their pastries are super affordable too at P35 to P60 per piece. read more
