Overhead door was quick, effective and kind! I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you!

We purchased two new Haas Aluminum Garage doors from Overhead Doors in May-June and the installation by Ruben was outstanding (5 stars!). I was surprised to see that he was doing them both by himself, but he was very meticulous and organized. It did take all day. They look great, and seem to be working well so far. As for the process leading up to the purchase, it started when Derrick came to repair a sensor and we discussed new doors as well as the rotted framing/molding around the openings for the doors. Derrick is very knowledge, & we discussed both the aluminum and steel doors, and he took a full set of pictures. He said we could keep our existing door openers as they were in good shape(5 stars!). Derrick indicated that OH Door recommended a guy that could repair the wood framing. We contacted him and he was exceptional. However, the actual sales process with the sales rep was sloppy-it was close to Memorial Weekend, but that is no excuse. The sales Rep, Tony never came to our house (2 stars). Everything was done over the phone (from his car), and using Derrick's pictures. As such, I never received a catalogue and instead was going online to the manufacturer websites to research the two main door products. I had considered going to the show room which would have been helpful(I highly suggest you go to the showroom). I didn't get a catalogue until I was signing the order to purchase. Honestly I also considered calling another company. The "front sales office", Kiki(5 stars!), saved the day by sending me the necessary info. In fact I had several conversations with Kiki. The front office handled many questions regarding the purchase and order process, and they were invaluable. To me this is really important in a company where there are many steps (and people) involved. read more

The spring on our double garage door broke in two when it reached its tenth year of life. Both vehicles were stuck in our garage and even the manual lift wouldn't open the door. Overhead Door of Daytona Beach had a technician out within hours and he was wonderful: professional, personable and finished the job in short order. Thank you Daytona Overhead Door and thank you Derek! read more

Overhead Door Company of Daytona installed both of our doors 23 years ago! We live out in the country and they've gone thru alot of abuse but they stood up. I think we've called them twice for maintenance in all of these years. This time we had to have a motor replaced, sensors, remotes and controls replaced. Everything but the motor was more for updating not because they didn't work. Hector, the technician, was professional, efficient and knew exactly what he was doing. He explained everything to me about the job. Quality and reliability is always there with this company. read more

I called to have my garage door looked at and set up an appointment for the next week, My garage door opener had been making noise and it was probably the garage door opener that was installed when my home was built. The technician came and was on time and we decided to install a new opener. He said it would take an hour to install, and it took less than that! New keypad, 2 new openers and a better than the previous garage door opener! The tech was professional and informative and when he left, I was very happy with everything! read more

1 of the little cables jumped off the spool. I called in the morning, they happened to have a guy available same day after lunch. Took him an hour to fix the problem. Nice people, helpful & knowledgeable. read more

I called on a Tuesday morning and they were able to get someone to my house by 1:00. He even got there earlier than he said he would and waited for me a few minutes. Within an hour, my garage door motor was replaced and it's much quieter but just as fast as the old one. read more

We ordered a garage door from Overhead Door Company which did take as we were told about 4 to 6 weeks to arrive. We scheduled the installation for today, and the two installers arrived between 8am - 8:30 as they had indicated. They removed the old door and the tracks and install the beautiful new 16x7 white flush insulated panel door with a sturdy low-headroom track by 2pm. They were efficient and professional, and very knowledgeable. They made sure to clean up their debris and residual dust from the garage floor. We are impressed with them and the job they did and recommend Overhead Door Company for any garage door installation or replacement. Thanks for a job well done! read more

I used this garage place for repair of my HORMANN garage door openers. No one in the area works on theses special Germany made doors. I have had them for now 17 years. HORMANN onlinetold me it sounded like a mother hoard so I ordered on from them and Overheard installed it. Works great. read more

What a frustrating experience. After waiting a month longer than I was told when I ordered, I believe I've lost more than $7,000. Today (4 months after ordering) was supposed to be the installation day. I received a call at 8:30 am to be told that they didn't have all of the parts and that their installer had called out sick. Really? Do you mean to tell me that your warehouse accepted goods without inspecting them? Do you have no other installers? Their manager said he was on vacation and didn't know any of this until today. I CALLED ON FRIDAY TO CONFIRM AND WAS TOLD EVERYTHING WAS FINE. So, to recap, Liars, Cheats, Liars. Now I have to hire an attorney to get a refund. Fun times from Overhead Door. read more

One of my garage door tension springs broke. Called Overhead. They provided me a price for one or two springs. Set me up with an appointment a few days later. Technician called the morning of the repair to provide me with an arrival window. Once the technician arrived, performed the repair in a timely manner in under 30 minutes. Very professional courteous company. Thanks..... read more

We purchased a property that has 9 Overhead Door faux wood finish doors. The paint is peeling off on the ones that get direct sunlight. I called the company up and the only thing they said was find a painter. Absolutely no help what so ever on helping me find a solution or even a specialist in painting garage doors. I would say look around for a company that believe in there products beyond the sale. read more

Our spring broke after 9 years. Called Overhead Door first thing in the AM as they installed the original door. They gave me a price over the phone which was inline with published rates. Derik cane on time and finished the job efficiently. read more

When I called, I asked about all charges that would apply when they come out. The agent didn't mention the service fee even though I asked. They quoted me $50 for the repair. Then when the repair person came out, they suddenly have a service fee of $89. I EXPECTED a service fee but they didn't disclose it until AFTER the service and it's larger than other service fees which average between $30 and $50 elsewhere. This is HIGHLY UNETHICAL. The manager says there is nothing they can do. He gave a $10 discount on the $89 service fee. Hector did the work and was efficient. read more

We used Overhead Door to replace the wall switch in the garage and to add a wireless entry keypad. Derek the technician did an excellent job with the installation and instructions on how to use the wireless keypad. Everything worked great. We had one issue later in the day when my wife returned home with her car. The homelink opener in her car did not work. We called Overhead Door and spoke to Claudia. Claudia identified the issue with us and then walked us through the fixes. The issue was the number of devices programed to the door. The fix was to clear the door memory and reprogram the current devices to the door. After performing the necessary steps everything works perfect. We would use Overhead Door again. read more

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. We failed our final inspection because of their lack attention to detail, hence delaying our much anticipated move. Then in order to rectify the situation and minimized the delay to move, I was forced to drive 45 minutes so that I could finish doing something they should have done correctly in the first place, giving their customer service rating another 0. The icing on the cake is that I HATE these garage doors; they are the ugliest, cheapest, loudest pieces of junk I have EVER Seen!!! Avoid doing business with this company at all cost and save yourself the headache! read more

Worst experience ever with this company. No communication. We are a GC and used them as a sub contractor. Tony the sales rep. Garbage. Doesn't answer the phone and lies excessively. They have a permit they need to close out and no one put the paperwork for the product approvals and they failed inspection. Bunch of incompetent people. read more
