I don't usually leave reviews but this was a must! Can't speak to the physical location because I ordered via Uber Eats so this review is solely based on the products I received. I was having a night in and opted to try them over some of the more well known dessert options. Utilized the send $30 to save by ordering the brownie cheesecake, the strawberry shortcake cheesecake, and the candied grapes. The cheesecakes were phenomenal! For price and portion I'd say they were a match especially the brownie. It was huge. The strawberry was not quite as big but considering it consisted of more layers in detail this was understandable. Still great a great size. Both were super moist, fresh, and packed to travel well! The candied grapes were well candy grapes. Not a huge candy fan but really wanted to try these. My daughter and I was grabbing lunch at American Deli while we waited to get our car serviced and seen this bakery right next to it. The establishment was very clean, we got there right at opening. We were greeted and able to have time to view the menu and ask questions. Once we placed our order it took less than a minute to get all of our items! We have a red velvet and Oreo cupcake and candid grapes! All was so delicious! Cupcakes were extremely moist and tasty. We don't have anything like this where we live but I wish we did! Customer service was great. Owner was there and very professional. I stopped by to chat about renting the space for an event. The place is very spacious and clean. I tried the key lime cupcake. Went to the one in ellenwood. Got 2 orders of candy grapes. 0/10 must have been an old batch. The actual grape was so frozen it just taste like ice. Literally barely any crushed jolly rancher on it. So the taste was just the hard candy which wasn't a good taste. Ate one threw the rest away. It pissed me off so bad I just went to the store and decided to make my own. I received the worst service!! I ordered a cake 4 days before my birthday. They took my order over the phone, asked what cake I wanted and even what day and time I wanted to pick up. I even called a few days before to confirm my order was in and I was told yes. On the day of my birthday I went to pick up my cake and was told I didn't have an order. This completely ruined my birthday and management didn't offer anything for the inconvenience not even a cupcake. They totally ruined my birthday and it's unacceptable how they didn't take ownership of their mistake. I was just told they only accept online orders but not once was I told that when calling in. The least they could do is make sure their customers are taken care of. I was just ignored and totally disregarded. Very bad business!! I won't be going back. read more

The cupcakes are mediocre. Oftentimes they are never fully stocked with the options listed on the menu . The Ellenwood locations always seems to be closed. The owner is rude and sensitive when sharing your experiences with the either the purchase or visit. Hardly no customer service skills. I would not recommend getting there treats at all!!! read more

Very disappointed with service rendered. I came in with a picture of what I wanted and showed the lady and  I asked her can I get this made. She said yes...granted she pointed out later that there is a sign off to the side of the cointer with fine print ( literally fine print) that the cake may not look exactly like the picture ..that's fine but I'm confused as to why that would not be discussed at the counter or pointed out to customers and maybe discuss possible alternatives. Actually there was no discussion at all when I arrived , just a dry "yeah we can do that" and "can't do cream cheese icing." Attitude pretty dry and uninterested , not super friendly and usually this prompts me to leave but I've had a cupcake here that was delicious but also she wasn't not rude so it wasn't a big deal. Well maybe it was a big deal cause that translated into not being helpful AT ALL. Only plus was someone offered to bring my cake to the car. The cake was heavy and dense. There was a lil tiny strip of fondant with small letters unlike the big lettering off the cake I asked for. None of the cute little fondant decorations except the scope and Band-Aids. Instead of using icing for the heart lines encircling the cake the just did it on white fondant I guess cause it was easier but kind of made the cake look cluttered . But overall How I would have preferred my experience To go is I show a picture of what I want, a friendly employee sees the pic and tells me we can't do that exactly but let's see what we can do...that way there would have been no disappointment when the box opened. My daughter and I go here on Tuesdays because the cupcakes are $2.00. They have a few other specials throughout the week that are even better than that one. I love the flavor of the cupcakes and the customer service here has always been up to par. Their brownies with walnuts are the truth and I am also a huge fan of the Strawberry Shortcake cupcakes. Oven Treatz was an absolute nightmare for my sister's Baby Shower. The theme color was BABY BLUE! She ended up with a TEAL/TURQUOISE CAKE without her permission. The shower was set for Sunday and after nearly one hour of waiting when they gave her the time to arrive, the cake was not completed! The owner also tried to be very manipulative in telling her that she agreed to go with that color under a stipulation that the colors don't always come out right. What kind of Baker can't make a BABY BLUE CAKE!? If you knew you couldn't make what the customer wanted then you let the customer know you can't accommodate their wishes and send them elsewhere; or you ASK would you like a different color. You don't just do what you want to get their money. That's exactly what Oven Treatz did. Then when my sister called to dispute what happened, the owner lied several times saying "the cake was ready and you could've gotten it then but I didn't want you to mess it up since you had no where to put it", "can you come back in 30 minutes?", "I'll just deliver the cake to you tomorrow." All of what she said was a lie! My sister is 8 months pregnant and didn't want to stress herself out writing this review more than she has already been stressed out. If she was going to deliver the cake, she should have said that before my sister drove 45 minutes out of the way for a cake that wasn't completed. Then she, along with my mother and grandmother, had to wait for a cake that still wasn't ready. We didn't even want pictures of the set up with the cake on the table because everything was baby blue yet this cake was TURQUOISE! When my sister called, the owner was not interested in accommodating her inconvenience or incorrect cake whatsoever. She only offered a 10% refund! 10% is laughable with a wrong order! To top it all off, the cake was not even that good. It tasted as if it was not fresh and was falling apart. The outside was beautifully designed inaccurately yet the cake was not good. No one liked the cake and stated that it was poorly made. Since the cake was delivered prior to our arrival, we weren't even able to fight this. Her shop is also closed on Mondays so we had to wait to contact her only for the owner to make it seem as though we were wrong and it was our fault somehow. I absolutely DO NOT recommend Oven Treatz to anyone! They may have good reviews everywhere on Facebook but I've also seen terrible reviews one being the same scenario where a baby blue cake was requested only for a Turquoise cake to be delivered. Even if you tried to press your luck with utilizing her service, there was no type of professionalism or accommodation for HER MISTAKES! No apologies. No owning up to her wrongdoing. Nothing! My aunt was looking to get a cake from her after seeing how beautiful it looked on the outside but after hearing about this horrible experience and tasting her below average cake, she will no longer consider Oven Treatz and I suggest whoever is reading this do the same. read more
