We went to oven studios ten years ago at their LA location when our first born son turned one for his Dohl photos. They turned out so cute. When I got pregnant again this year I was searching for the studio and saw that they moved to Buena Park so we headed on over. They are inside the source mall. Their setup is pretty similar to how it was last I visited. We did a family portrait with newborn package. They got our baby all dolled up into three off outfits and I honestly don't know how the unnie did it. She is truly the baby whisperer. The oppa was professional and also just knew what would look good for our fam portrait. When we said we brought jackets as options he asked us why and told us we didn't need it. He was right. He also gave me a Polaroid of one of the pics of my newborn which was a kind touch! After each session he let me take some photos with my phone too, and I thought that was nice. Ofc I just waited for his better version before sending it out to people but I'm glad I have some behind the scenes photos. The photos came out great and just in time for our holiday cards. Will def go back for dohl photos.

SIMPLY AMAZING! We contacted Ovenstudio while planning for our daughter's first birthday. They were great about communicating from the beginning, which is HUGE for me! We scheduled our daughter's first photoshoot in advance and the week of our schedule they were very detailed where we should park and go for the studio. It was super helpful and made it easy to find. The photoshoot was so smooth and we got some amazing photos of our baby girl. They got her to laugh and it was simply just the cutest thing to watch. When it was her first birthday party, it was just as amazing. Ovenstudio was super patient and helpful throughout the night. The photos were great and we got them super quick. We were SO happy with everything and would definitely refer Ovenstudio to everyone!

Loved our experience with Oven Studio! The couple was so friendly and made it so enjoyable for our 4 month old. We were a bit nervous going in because this would be our baby's first photoshoot and he's only 4 months but it went so well. They are true pro's at making your baby feel happy and comfortable. My husband and I fully recommend booking family sessions here

Long overdue thank you to both owners for their hard work & patience with little ones. We did my grandbaby's 1st bday photos and although he was a bit fuzzy towards the end they managed to capture so many beautiful images. I can't stress enough how great they are at what they do & it shows in the quality of the images & in how children respond to them. =) We are already planning his 2nd bday photos & booking with them again and unless they/we move they will be our go-to photographers for years to come.

Loved this yellow backdrop!

You know a photographer seriously wants to capture the best pictures of your baby if they want you…read moreto come back when baby is fed, well slept, and happy. For some reason things just didn't align well with my baby's naps and feedings that day so it was hard to manage a tired baby but they managed to get real good photos of my baby and the family. My baby didn't really smile much yet but they were still able to get smiling pictures of her too. Very professional and works so hard to get the best pictures. I was truly grateful for this studio and loved my experience. Also the picture quality was amazing!! The backgrounds were cute and the clothes were so adorable too!! The price point is reasonable and I'd say cheaper than some others for a better quality. I think the turn around time to receive the photos were faster than we expected too. Truly appreciate working with this photographer. He really seems to love what he does and we are blessed with these amazing photos!!! Couple things to note/tips: 1. Go when your baby can smile. Yes after their neck strength gets way better too. My baby still can't really smile yet and she's 4 months old. I really wanted to push having 100 day photos when she was 3.5 months old so neck strength and expressions aren't expected. 1a. Also go when your baby is well fed, pooped, rested, good condition, etc. makes a world of difference. 2. They give you a looooot of photos to choose from. Be prepared to be pleasantly overwhelmed with photos. If you get decision fatigue then ask your spouse to help. Cause I loved getting the full gamut of photos. 3. They have a wardrobe but if you want your baby to wear something specific, bring it! Their wardrobe is pretty cute tho and fits with their backgrounds. 4. They have set backgrounds to choose from in their studio. The backgrounds are really cute but if you're looking for something specific, unique, tailored to you, the studio setting might not be for you. But tbh all 100 day, dohl, event photos basically look the same...so I would think it's odd to expect something different. I've seen tons of beach engagement pics. Tons of dohl pics with the same backgrounds and balloons. So why complain about a studio pic with similar styles and backgrounds or lack of variety? You're already the unique and different baby/family. So there's that. 5. Bring a toy or something that can get your baby's attention. I realized belatedly my baby likes to stare at herself in the mirror. She also likes her little fox doll. If your baby has a preference for a toy, perhaps being prepared like that will help with the experience! 6. Match your clothes with your family and partner beforehand. Clothes, accessories and shoes too so they look cohesive in the photos! Belatedly realized my husband's shoes didn't match any of our family's and my son's also seemed a little too bright. Oh well. Overall I loved the photos! Thank you again for the awesome and kind experience!!!

The parking lot is consistently busy, so finding a spot can be a hit or miss. Ambiance/Environment: The studio is located inside the AR Gallery. Once you enter the AR Gallery, you'll see the studio on your right. They have an extremely small space with two rooms. One room features white walls, and the other room features colored backgrounds. There's many props from headbands and hats to chairs and stools and more! Some props can use a cleaning, but you can't really see it in the photos. Service: I decided to do a walk-in, so I didn't book an appointment or prepay online. They only take walk-ins starting at 11:30. They're not busy on weekdays but busier during the weekends. I completely forgot his name, but the worker that checked me in was nice, efficient, and knowledgable about the offerings. They provide a large screen with gridlines, lighting, and a small remote. They'll give you a timer, so you'll know exactly how much time you have left during your session. Studio Session & Photos: I chose the 5 minute session with the colored background. You'd choose two colors out of five options. Since I chose the colored walls, let the worker know when you're ready to switch colors. They'll pause the timer, switch the background, and continue the timer. The small remote is easy to hide in the photos. The lighting is perfect, and the photos came out amazing! Pricing: All details and prices are on their website. It's easy to book an appointment online. Since my birthday was three days away, the worker gave me a 10% discount. They also offer other discounts. All details are listed on their website. Highly recommend this studio!

Truth be told....I write this with a bit of a tear in my eye....not to get too melodramatic over a…read moreyelp review....but pictures...when done perfect and if your in a particular sentimental mood....can have that effect. Some backstory...Imagix/Michelle has done our yearly photos for our son from ages 1 to now 5. (See my past reviews). From somehow capturing a perfect moment from our perpetually moving blur of a son (ages 1-3) to patiently instructing four 70/80 year olds on how to hold their aforementioned 4 year old Tasmanian Devil grandson last year, Michelle is a magician/artist...I always leave the photoshoot stressed from the chaos Hurricane Daniel (our son) leaves in his wake....But every year we come back to look at the proofs and are amazed at Michelle ability to capture "lighting in a bottle" . This year was no different. Fortunately we survived the terrible 2's (...3's....4's....) and thanks to time, maturity, and the opposite of gentle parenting, our little Daniel, though far from perfect, is manageable. But we didn't want to make it too easy for Michelle, so we threw in another variable. After a recent canine cancer scare, and recently learning from Google that all dogs, however loyal and cute, unfortunately have an inescapable life, span, I somehow convinced my beautiful but camera shy wife that this is the year we do a family photo with our dog. Some more backstory, if you read this far, our Yorkie, Libby, loves us but HATES the rest of the world. She spent the entire hour photoshoot in perpetual scowl and Volume 11 non stop bark. One week later as she always does, lighting in a bottle perfection. I looked at the proofs with amazement. Our son, we expected....she's done it every year, but how she made a loud perpetual yapping bark into a impossibly cute smile is above my skill set. But I think her greatest feat is how she lessened the "he must be rich" looks gap between my wife and I. My wife is easy, even me with my amateur Android skills, it's hard for her to take a bad picture. Michelle mastery came with how she elevated me to "he must be funny" looks gap level. So why the tear? We loved one of the pics so much we purchased a large framed canvas print to hang on our living room wall. My 85 year old happened to be in town for his grandsons 5th bday so I asked him for an helping hand hanging the picture. I figured he has these family portrait hanging at my childhood home. My brother and I with our full head of hair and my mom shoulder pads captured the 90's to a tee...but what I always remember is the "proud" look my dad had on his face. A look of accomplishment shouting "look at me world and all that I love and created". Watching my aging dad struggle, listing to my aging dog bark in a locked room to protect my dad's ankles, I was suddenly reminded that time, as much as you want to hit pause, always moves forward. It's a good idea to stop and smell the roses, or in this case, look at the snapshot/memories/moments and take it all in. After my dad handed me the leveler and I put away the hammer, and I looked up....and yeah....I had that "Dad" look

We first came here for my baby's 100-day photoshoot (full set), and we were extremely pleased with the results. The photos were beautifully done, timeless, and very high quality, which is why we didn't hesitate to come back again. We recently returned for my daughter's 2-year-old photoshoot, and this session was particularly challenging because she's currently in a strong stranger-danger phase. Other studios actually turned us away, but White Photo Studio was the complete opposite. The photographer was incredibly patient, calm, and understanding, and allowed us to take over two hours so my daughter could slowly get comfortable. There was absolutely no rushing. The photographer tried different approaches--introducing multiple toys, giving my daughter space and time, and eventually using bubbles, which finally helped her relax and open up. That level of patience and experience with young children truly made all the difference, and we ended up with photos we absolutely love. The studio itself is very spacious, with a wide variety of beautiful scene setups and props. They also have an amazing selection of high-quality baby dresses and accessories, which made styling effortless and elevated the final photos even more. If you're looking for a studio that genuinely understands children, respects their pace, and delivers beautiful results, White Photo Studio is absolutely worth it. She took our engagement photos. I specifically had samples of picture and reference poses. She studied them way before my fiancé and I visited there, which means she was prepared for the look. I am about to ask her for my wedding ceremony picture as well. Due to Covid 19, our couple was worried how we were going to get the pictures taken but by meeting Lucy through Tiara Wedding in Fullerton, our problem has solved. She is on time, professional, very nice, fun, and worked with us at all circumstances. I can't imagine anyone else doing a better job! She remembered every detail from reference photos we shared. She helped us to look the best with every pose and most of all, she made me look thinner haha. Her edits are incredible. I have requested color and both black and white. Lucy was great with text/phone communication and was willing to make a variation to her existing package to fit my needs. Although I ended up changing my mind and went with her traditional package, she was gracious enough to add a few more poses when I wasn't expecting it at all. I actually made the mistake of showing up for the session when my baby was only 15 weeks old, against her recommendation. She recommends making the appointment between 4-5 months(?) so that the baby can hold the poses more easily. At our first appointment my baby was not comfortable lifting her upper body from the floor and could not smile while doing so. We tried a couple poses and she was only getting more fussy as we were demanding her to do things I guess were too advanced for her age. That's when Lucy kindly suggested we come back in a few more weeks when she will be more comfortable in those positions and actually give us some cute expressions, not the grimacing and struggling faces we were getting that day. We ended up returning 3 weeks later and lo and behold, got the poses and smiles to go along with them! Lucy's professionalism and experience with young children really showed during our photo shoot as she expertly handled my baby and did everything in her power to make her smile. I am extremely happy with the photos that she took and glad we were able to capture this precious stage in her development as it's a time we will never get back. It's money well spent and I'm so glad I went to Lucy.
