I explained that I was in severe pain and needed to come in as soon as possible. The person on the phone was more than accommodating. Stated that whenever I was ready, they would have a room for me and get me in. I arrived there shortly after talking to them. Got me in, gave me a vibratory massage before the adjustment. I explained to Dr. Janusz what I did and where the pain was. He gave me a manual deep tissue massage before my adjustment. Proceeded with my adjustment asking me along the way if I was "okay" pain wise. After I was done, I was sore but no longer in pain. I explained that I still felt "tight" or "off" in some areas. He did some more adjustments and also took the time during the visit to check on how my general health was along with my personal life and how I am doing. When you bounce around between different departments and specialists, it can get all that much more confusing, too. (When you're sick or seeking medical attention, you probably have a lot of questions, and you deserve to have them answered.) I was referred here to rule out any cardiac issues/irregularities and am so happy I was - during my visit I spoke with the nurse, the office PA and Dr. Lanzarotti, all in one visit. They explained the next course of actions to me and more importantly, they explained the why behind those actions. I was in an accident and the other person's insurance company offered me a deal to help pay for my medical expenses as it was her fault. I called and spoke directly to Dr. Belke who was very familiar with this type of thing and was super helpful about it. He set me up with an appointment just a few days later. He's very east to talk to and asks a lot of questions and listens to what you have to say. After our initial two appointments, he set up three adjustments for me the next week. The deal I had from the other insurance would only help me pay for things for the next month so he said he would help me out to make sure I got the most out of it. He also told me that taking those deals is never a good idea... oh well! Now I know for next time, but hopefully there isn't a next time. He kept track of the costs for me and when the last official day I could use payment from them. After going to Dr. Belke for a month now and seeing him every week for adjustments I notice such a huge difference in my back. I was very stiff after my accident on my right side and in my neck and that has pretty much gone away entirely. I also was having a lot of leg pain that I assumed was unrelated, but as my back pain went away that did too, so maybe there was something with my posture. After a miscarriage, everything went well with my second pregnancy. Labor and delivery were a piece of cake in comparison to what was waiting for me around ten days after my baby's birth. I have lived with back pain for almost my entire life due to scoliosis and lordosis. Stretching and strengthening exercises have been my best friends. But, I am human and we all do lots of wrong things especially when talking about lifting movements. Who bend their knees EVERY time they lift something? Well, certainly I should but I don't. So with pregnancy our bodies have a huge number of adjustments to do. Our spine has to support an extra 20, 30, 40 pounds. During labor and delivery more adjustments are necessary. I am still amazed how everything happens, like a divine miracle. After delivery we loose a significant amount of weight and, in my case, it happened very fast. I lost 20 pounds in less than 30 days. Now you imagine your body having to deal with all these adjustments when your spine already has some issues, plus you have a new baby to carry, to feed, to take care of and you are not doing lifting movements in a correct way... not an easy job, right? My spine was not able to handle everything and asked me for help! The way that it happened left me extremely painful and sad. After a first week of joy and excitement with my baby, an excruciating pain showed signs of life in my lower back, which after only few days left me unable to hold my baby, to breastfeed and do most of the things I did before. I could barely walk, and when I did, I used a cane. That week was terrifying! Especially looking myself at the mirror... my spine was totally shifted to the right! I cried out to the Lord and He answered in many ways. I will always be thankful for all prayers and help received.
