Reeves Roof Consulting installed my flat roof back in March 2026, but I've held off writing a…read morereview waiting until we had some rain. We finally got it last night and it was a whopper of a monsoon so a great test. We ended up with about 3/4" of water. I just checked the roof this morning and there is precious little ponding so the drainage to the scuppers works great. Now, for some background on my problematic roof: I have a flat roof with a 3' mansard roof around the edges. In 2021, it was creating a bowl effect and I had a swimming pool up there every time it rained. I spent over $25k to have the whole roof re-engineered, stripped down to the plywood and raised by 8" in the center to create proper drainage. The roofer completed it with a silicone top and gave me a 15-year warranty against leaks. The silicone started to peel off and the roof began to leak in February, 2026. I tried to contact the roofer but, of course, they were out of business so my warranty did me no good. I reached out to three roofers for quotes, but the peeled silicone, along with the hardened, dark orange colored foam visible beneath scared two of them away as they didn't know how to deal with it. Rick Reeves also had never seen anything like it before, but was intrigued. I went back and looked at my construction photos from 2021 and, apparently, my out-of-business roofer waited too long between application of the spray foam and the silicone topping. Rick determined the foam got sunburned and this was why the silicone did not stay adhered. Now the new problem is that nothing will stick to silicone. Rick researched it and determined that not only the remaining silicone would need to be removed, but also a layer of the hardened/sunburned spray foam would need to be ground off to provide an adequate surface for adhesion. He and his crew took care of this, added another inch or two of spray foam, a primer, then a layer of elastomeric coating. The crew was very courteous and cleaned everything up and the end of each day. I'm very thankful that Rick, in all of his years of experience, took my roof on as a challenge instead of a nuisance to avoid. I'm confident he can solve whatever roof woes you may have.

Completing our roofing project was dependent on third party removal and reinstallation of a solar panel system outside Reeves' scope of work. Reeves and his team went above and beyond, returning to inspect the roof during and after the solar panel reinstallation to ensure everything was in order. The entire job was completed much more rapidly than I'd expected, and the roof and areas surrounding the house were left immaculate. Warranty details were provided without prompting upon completion of the job. I am thrilled. I highly recommend Reeves Roof Consulting for your roofing work.
