I stumbled upon Exclusives as it's always on my way out of town and stood out as it's nestled in a barn in Downtown Winchester. The newly opened lounge is owned by Steven, a young entrepreneur with vision and passion for his craft. He's the nicest guy and is very welcoming with all customers! Online appointments are available on Exclusives' website, it's suggested to book a week or two in advance as slots fill up fast. My current barber is Chris, he provides an excellent fade and squared my hair perfectly. I was very happy with my haircut. I appreciate that the guys at Exclusives take their time to get to know each customer. They even have beer and water available! I HIGHLY recommend this shop, it's family-friendly and the music is always top-tier.

Finding a barber you can actually trust is tough. After relocating from Orange County, I spent…read moremonths making the brutal 1.5-hour drive back and forth just for haircuts for myself and my son because we couldn't find anyone who matched the quality we were used to. Recently, we were crunched for time and couldn't make the drive out, so we decided to try Winchester Barber Shop. From the second we walked through the door, the vibe was completely different from other spots. You can instantly tell they care about their clients rather than just trying to cycle people through the chair as fast as possible. I spoke with Luis, who owns the shop, and told him what we were looking for. He was super understanding, reassured me right away, and showed me some of his work. The results spoke for themselves--honestly, neither of us has ever had a cleaner, better haircut. What really sold me were the little things: when he finished my son's hair, he didn't just brush him off and call it a day. He asked me to inspect it and double-checked if there was anything I wanted tweaked or adjusted. In my line of work, I deal face-to-face with high-value clients, so keeping a sharp, professional look is non-negotiable. Luis saved me hours in traffic, and the precision blows away shops that charge double. Even if we ever moved back to Orange County, I'd gladly make the commute out to Winchester just to sit in his chair. Don't waste your time going anywhere else!

He begged me for this haircut because we walk by this shop often and something about it intrigues him. I'm really sad for my son and now we don't have a choice other than buzzing his head I didn't notice the cuts unfortunately until we got home and my husband took him out of the car seat and immediately got upset, otherwise I would have said something. We've taken him to barbers at least 10 times now and never had this happen. I don't understand. I will say the barber refunded me. I just want to warn other parents.

Unfortunately, it was the exact opposite, and I should have walked out the moment I stepped inside. The environment was highly unprofessional; loud music was blasting while two staff members lounged in barber chairs right in front of me, playing games on their phones. This is not the atmosphere you expect for a paid service. Worse, the equipment appeared to be low-quality and unhygienic. The battery trimmers kept snagging and pulling at my skin, leaving me with a painful breakout along the entire trim line. The razor felt dull, and I now have a large, infected ingrown hair on the front of my neck. Even the 'hot shave' was a letdown--a thin, overused towel that was warmed in a microwave rather than properly steamed. The service ended with a quick spritz of aftershave instead of a real application. This felt like an amateur operation. Maybe great for a kid but not for adults. I definitely won't be returning.
