I've been doing business with Outrageous Audio for a few years now. i have a major problem when people are allowed to post untruthful crap without consequence. The lady that was complaining about the sales guy Abe, Ma'am, you are not correct, i find your "review" more annoying than anything. Here's why... (review on 3-2-16 Neva B.) 1) When you deal with cars and systems these days, you need extra modules, extra connectors, adapters, wiring, brackets, etc. you cant expect any place to supply that stuff for free so yes, the install will be more expensive, and there is also the labor part too. some cars require extra stuff extra things the tech has to deal with. time is money. techs dont work for free. they have bills to pay too. 2) If you could not afford to pay without financing, DO NOT FINANCE! Do your research on that finance company BEFORE you enter into a deal or agreement. Do NOT sign the paperwork until you know what you are getting yourself into. thats the general rule of thumb. You didnt do your research. you get what you get then. plain and simple. Outrageous audio is not a bank. they are a business. they are just giving customers an extra option. If you dont like the prices on the stuff you think you want, then dont enter into a deal. It is NOT the sales person's job to call the finance company for you. 3) I've been doing business with Abe for a while now. I can tell you without a shadow of the doubt, he does an EXCELLENT JOB! He is courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, and he'll remember you a year from now. NONE of the sales guys / techs EVER look at the silly little groupies at least whenever i'm in the shop. they help people as fast as they can. i hear them all the time "Have you been helped yet?" they are easy to deal with, and they have the customer in mind. They tell you up front if something will cost more because you need either a module, or extra parts or whatever. they are not completely bent on up selling. Something you have to keep in mind too... they are a business as well. at the end of the day though, it is ultimately up to you the customer to say yes or no on any upgrades. 4) Since you ditched your appointment, never called to cancel, they probly already submitted the loan paperwork the day your car was supposed to be dropped off. It is the customer's responsibility to contact the dealer, and the finance company stating you changed your mind or something else like that. they probly called you a bunch of times trying to meet their obligations. They are pretty good about calling about updates, questions, or any of that. A loan agreement is just that. It is somewhat legally binding. you have an obligation to contact the seller and the loan provider. Dont start bad mouthing the sales guy because you failed to meet your obligations as the customer. Not his fault. Now thats out of the way. I bought a new car from a dealership (they will be unnamed in this review) the deal was to "transfer" my alarm and stereo to the new car and they pay for it. long story short, the dealership messed up my alarm and poorly installed my stereo. Outrageous dug into it and found the factory harness on my NEW car was hacked up and chopped, and the deck was not wired correctly. The car is in the outrageous shop getting the stereo reinstalled and fixed, and they are installing the alarm the dealership messed up. i still have to deal with the dealership and all, but the car will be done tonight. they do fast, and excellent work. Let me tell you about the owner too. The guy is awesome. down to earth, easy to talk to, and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. Seems like all his people are happy, and he's got a really good eye for customer service. I wish there were more people like him around. I really like that shop, and Abe is a top notch dude too. At least in my experiences with them, I can go in there, they know me, know what i have in the car, anytime i ever need something fixed or looked at they seem to drop everything and get it to a bay with the techs. Had an excellent experience at Outrageous Audio this spring. Updated BOTH my cars ('98 Infiniti and '91 Honda) with new Kenwood Excelon CD Receiver/HD Radio (with add'l digital/tech features) head units. I first visited OA (recommended by my mechanic) in March. Browsed a wall of boxed, available audio options only a couple minutes before a staff member came over to offer assistance/answers. Jorge--an amiable, very patient man--provided info, showed me adjunct parts, offered insights, discussed options at length. My Infiniti's original Bose CD/stereo-radio's volume button had failed. Sadly, not reparable. If I had elected to find a used replacement Bose online, Jorge assured me they could install that as well. He assisted me to contact PDX Nissan re replacing my Infiniti's broken antenna. When I brought the car back a week later, Jorge made himself available to confirm the audio options I wanted. Tech Mike did a super job installing, setting up variables, and explaining to me my new, double din Excelon. I left quite pleased. I returned 7 weeks later with my Honda and staff actually remembered me. I asked for Jorge again. I'd brought a set of new speakers a friend had given me, ones he'd intended but never installed in his family's Honda. Jorge came outside with me to look over my existing speakers, old cassette radio, and wiring setup. He found my car's rear dash had been manufactured to accommodate speakers as well, though I chose to decline that option. Because one can hear a fair amount of road noise in my Honda, I did elect to have a set of Dynamat sound-dampening "sheets" placed when Tech Brian installed the new, single din Excelon. When it was done, Jorge explained that the Honda's old, just-replaced speakers/fittings had been the reason both my front crank windows had never been able to roll down the last 3 or 4 inches. I had thought this was a safety feature from back in the day! As before, OA returned to me my car's old audio unit/parts, which a good mechanic will do too. The audio sound in my Honda is now superb! I hadn't thought there was a need for Dynamat insulation for my Infiniti's Bose speakers but, given the improvement in my Honda's radio sound, I'm now planning another visit to OA this summer to have Dynamat placed in my Infiniti as well. Another great factor at OA is that, if you just randomly show up, they have a little waiting room where you can hang out while the techs get your job done. I HIGHLY recommend Outrageous Audio, Jorge in particular. Mike and Brian did great installs, and the other staff I encountered were uniformly helpful and pleasant guys. read more

I just wanna take a brief moment to thank, Abe as my customer consultant and outrageous Audio for their relevant customer support and overall having to give lots of advice and support to getting the quality sound system in my vehicle/ A rear view camera for which I am super stoke about it me more excited for which I wasn't expecting & I was amazed of the turnout.The power in my system is just perfect for me & not much of exposure for which I am satisfied about. Just perfect for my vehicle & what I would of imagined of the sounds like. Abe have ask me if I wanted a touch screen monitor for my radio with a build in rear view Camara. I had went to a different audio store before I tried them. I have a Jeep, and I was excited to pick out a radio. To my surprise, I was told this shop only had 1 radio that would fit my Jeep. 1! Because the Jeep needs a thin radio? While I understand some things about Jeep mods, I didn't quite understand this. The radio to go in my Jeep was an alpine. I'm a bit partial to kenwood, I feel like they've done me well over my audio career. I bolted from that store, and I looked for other options. Outrageous audio was next on the list. I went in, met with Peter (can't even recall the name of the person helping me at other store, that's throws the red flag up too) and he reassured me that the majority of radios can fit my Jeep. He directed me to the kenwood dmx706S and I loved its design and look (coming from a factory stereo with CD player). Before I knew it, I was upgrading my speakers too. Peter really helped me and guided to what I was looking for. He knew every in and out of what I would need to complete my journey to awesome sound. Also, there was a sale going on as well, so I got to take advantage of that. If you need a good system, with straight forward opinions, and a knowledgeable staff. Over 30 years I've known Blane and seen his humble growing business to become by far the best premier car audio / Mobile Audio dealer anywhere from product to service and install. I have purchased multiple systems from Outrageous Audio my most recent this past Saturday I came in and Jorge greeted me then helped me pick out a great deck speakers and amp for a new car that I had purchased. It was just after 4 p.m. the guys work their tail off Brian and Kyle to do an awesome job installing it they stayed late past closing time to get it installed with nothing but perfection. My system absolutely rocks and price point destroyed the competition being a normal connoisseur I shopped the others car toys, Stereo King Etc. they couldn't even come close for the price on the product nor the install and I know for fact the others install quality is piss poor compared to Outrageous Audio. I had a great experience buying my navigation system here. I didn't really know what I wanted. Then Abe came and showed me different systems. I was surprised with all the extras you need to buy with stereos these days. At least with options I wanted like showing gauges, adjusting my heater through the stereo, and satellite radio. It ended up going over my budget. Abe ended up trying to discount a couple things to make it cheaper. I was still over budget. I was a little disappointed thinking I'm going to have to get rid of some options and maybe get a cheaper stereo. Abe said let me talk to Blane. He came back with a great price on everything I wanted. So I took it minus the install. I figured I'd save some more money and do it myself. I had installed many car stereo's in high school (I'm 46 now). After spending a day and half I realized it is well worth the money to have it installed. Stereo's now days are way more complex. I still haven't even mounted my back up camera. I had some trouble getting my phone to pair. I called Abe, he said bring it in and we will help you set it all up. I ended up figuring it out before I got there. I'm really happy with this purchase and really want to thank Abe and Blane for the great deal and excellent customer service. O.K. I've never written an online review for anyone or anything before, but I just had to give a positive shout out to Blaine and the guys at Outrageous Audio. I've been going there for years and spent plenty of money! My son lives in Seattle and I wanted to help get him a new Kenwood deck, bluetooth and rear camera set up for his birthday. So, last May, we dropped $700 bucks at the local CarToys in Seattle. Fast forward to last weekend. I had my son's truck here and the rear camera had failed. The deck had also developed an annoying blinking while playing video. I take it to the local CarToys dealer on 102nd since it was under warranty and I'm told they have to remove the Kenwood deck and send it out to Kenwood and it will take 12 weeks! The guy said, "if it was me, I'd just live with it." No thanks, I went to see my friends at outrageous audio and Blaine said, "They said what?" He handed me a brand new Kenwood deck and took my son's to send back in on warranty. HE DIDN'T EVEN SELL IT TO ME! WHO DOES THAT? The next day Blaine was installing another deck for my youngest son and I was more than happy to spend the money! The guys at Outrageous Audio are great and I will never go anywhere else again! I have bought 3 complete stereo systems and 2 Car Alarms from this shop and couldn't be more satisfied. The sales rep took the time to not only find equipment that fit by budget, but also took the time to find how what features I wanted to use. The shop installers Kenny and Edd are the same people who worked on my car 5 years ago when bought my 1st stereo here, and have done an great job with every project I've had them work on. Advice for anyone looking to shop here: For the best experience here, set yourself a reasonable budget before you walk in the door, and allow the sales reps to lead you to the equipment that offers you the best value for your money. Ask the sales reps WHY they recommend the equipment they are showing you. Know what features you want out of your system. Take the time to learn what modern stereos have to offer you so you can find the right equipment to fit your needs. I highly recommend spending the money to get the shop to install the equipment. Mike at Outrageous was extremely helpful in getting me some great products for my truck. The guys were no-hassle, easy to talk to. They even recommended a different set of speakers that would work better for my install so that things went smoother- and they were right. The Kicker components were a clean, easy install in my front doors and wouldn't have been if I had stuck to my original choice (different size tweeter); and they knew exactly what would fit better right off the top of their heads. No "my computer says" lines from a phone operator like at the big box stores. They know their stuff. I was recommended the Kenwood DMX809s deck and they were right on that, too. It is a great product, and at a great price- competitive with online retailers. Forget about using the big-name mail order internet company. Outrageous Audio does all of that and more, LOCALLY. I had an alarm system installed by a chain 15 years ago and with my new vehicle I wanted to try a local biz hoping for a better personal connection in order to get the best possible installation. So I selected Outrageous Audio to check out; I drove from my home on the west side and spent an hour interviewing them. Jorge was the gentleman I engaged with and he gave me confidence in the equipment selected, quality of installation and scheduling. Because of traffic I could not pick it up on Friday afternoon and they found a spot to park it indoors overnight and I picked it up on Saturday. Jorge explained everything and took my call a couple days later and texted me instructions on the keyless window remote which I had mislaid. I have used it for a month and it has been flawless and I feel a lot safer given the current rate of auto thefts. All I got to say is that this store continues to thrive... You see stores come and go time and time again but because of your excellent selection and great customer service you are still here.. I was 17 when I got my first car (1997 or 1998) lol.. I had save up about $300 for a system. First time in I was greeted by "Jorge" and he made everything so easy. He picked out a single sub and amp that worked perfect together and since then I've been hooked. Im 42 now and I still continue to shop there. They always have what I need and what I'm looking for. I can always put some kind of budget system together if I'm trying to sell a car. Jorge continues to help me in any way possible even if its just questions about products. These Guys are crooks and that is the nicest way I can put it, I went on their black Friday sale and asked about a sale item, without looking at my car I was told that radio would not fit ( I checked With 3 other shops all said would fit with no modifications) after being lied to that it would not fit the 139.00 promo was not going to work they all of a sudden decided 800.00 was what I needed to have a radio put in the car / for people that are unaware this is called Bait and Switch and is highly illegal, because this was their Black Friday sale I did show up early and I have a 1 hour 20 minute drive to get to the shop, clearly the owner thinks that poorly of disabled veterans, they don't need their money so I need to steal it. When I wrote a review to this effect I was told by the owner let me investigate, so after 6 weeks not one word was said or explained about what happened all that has happened is my review was erased*** apparently the owner does not want the public to know how crooked his business is read more

These guys are phenomenal. i cannot say enough good things about them. Their customer service is incredible. i contact my sales guy Abe after 2 years he remembers me right away, I stroll in there on saturday to get a system installed, everyone recognises me right away after 2 years. Even their finance process was easy. As always, their install guys did an awesome job. the system sounds awesome! They paid attention to the smallest details, they even did a few things they didnt have to do to make the system sound nice and clean without rattling. I'll never shop at a different audio shop ever. Abe Nuno! What a Guy! Helping me out through every single Car I have owned which was 3 so far! I always had a setup in all of them, he helped me calculate what I wanted and understand that I am Young and on a Budget! Abe is a very true down to earth when it comes to his job! He is a hard worker, and the best part about it is that he is very honest when he's trying to set up a deal! He does the right thing for the company and the customers!
