to whom it all may concered me & the wife went to the new outlets mall in simpsonville today & everything was good some of the shops were over priced & some were just right for us normal common working peoples, the traffic was backed up a 2 mile stretch so pls if you're driving, do not i repeat do not allow anyone who wants to try & pull all the up to the exit & then expects for you to allow or let them in front of you aftet you having been sitting in traffic for it seems like a half of a century, so don't let them do it, there's a sign that tells everyone thst this lane is for the mall but people just refuses to read the signs so on that note i don't allow anyone, no one in front of me, & the last thing is wifi, how can you go to high priced outlets mall & they don't offer free wifi now come on man ain't that so stupid, so dumb, & so cheap lol, now if it was'nt for that i would have gave them all 5 stars, but because dome business people wanted to go cheap well then no 5 stars. maybe next's time correct the problem then you will have something. read more

We opt to do the inside walks when ice and snow prevents the outside training. We appreciate the clean safe environment, restrooms, defibrillators, security, people watching, and many food options in the food court or at various attached restaurants (Red Robin, Cheesecake Factory, El Nopal, Dave and Buster's, etc).

Several restaurants, sit down and fast food, are also located nearby or if you're in the mood for a movie there's Tinseltown. You won't have an issue with parking - there's plenty for every store. However, if you're not overly familiar with the flow of the parking lot and stores, it is confusing getting around. I was struggling to find the stores I wanted to visit while still being safe and watching all the people crossing from the stores back to the parking lot. While it offers variety, this is my least favorite shopping center compared to the Paddock Shops or the indoor malls. Only make the destination if it's convenient or offers a store you can't find elsewhere.

Some favorites to shop for here: throw blankets, pillows, seasonal garden and home decor, kitchen and bathroom organizers, and holiday decor. I find these items are better priced as compared to the big box stores I visit. Finding an associate within the store is rare but they have plenty of cashiers. Don't let the long lines intimidate you from buying. The parking lot is shared with other businesses. The portion near TJ Maxx is frantic!! Keep your head on a swivel and keep young kids close.

That's the first thing that my children noticed when we walked into the market. The arcade is set up off to the side, through a door, on the first floor. There are a couple dozen pinball machines and old-school video games that you can play for quarters. When we visited, there was no one in the arcade, so we had the whole thing to ourselves. The arcade was an unexpected bonus, but we visited for the food. I love food halls and markets like this because everyone can find something they like. When we visited, one of us got a loaded baked potato from Spudzy Potato Bar, one of us got the falafel and hummus plate from Jerusalem Kitchen, and one of us got a cheeseburger from Ziba's Bistro. But we could have also chosen arepas, Korean street food or crepes, or things like boba and coffee and vegan baked goods. There are a lot of different options here. Upstairs, there are a lot of little booths with crafts and handmade goods and things. When we visited, none of that was open, but we were able to go up there and look around. There's also a small area for young kids to play, and a couple of video games. The second floor is also a nice place to peer down and look at the market from high up above. Parking is wherever you can find it. There's a gravel parking lot a block away, and there's also street parking, if you're lucky to get a spot.

Norton Commons has become an oasis of local shopping in northeast Louisville…read more So when I was up in the neighborhood this weekend, I had to check out their newest local shopping option: the Norton Commons North Village Market. This is a brand new open-air market that features a patio and six small white retail cottages. "Adorbs" is the word that comes to mind. Each cottage contains a few racks outside its doors and then maybe 100 square feet (I may be way off on that; I'm not good at estimating space) inside, with some displays and a register. Three businesses have set up temporary shop in the cottages so far: BLU Boutique, Rabbit in the Moon and Spark Boutique. And three cottages are not occupied, but hopefully they will be soon. So I took at opportunity to check out the three shops. All three had a mix of accessories, clothes and decor items. I particularly loved Rabbit in the Moon and found it hard to choose between buying a baby boy onesie for the baby-to-be or a kimono-type wrap for me. And I chose the kimono. (There will be many more onesies in the future, I'm sure.) The prices were a bit on the more expensive side, though there were some more reasonably priced items mixed in. And this market area has a patio and stage -- a promise of all the fun events to come in this space. From the fliers I saw around the space, it looks like they're starting with "Food Trucks & Farmer Fridays," with (as you can probably guess) food trucks and a small farmers market. It is also close to the amphitheater. The market is a bit on the outskirts of Norton Commons, but if the neighborhood's earlier growth is any indication, it will likely be surrounded by homes very soon. So if you find yourself out in Norton Commons, drive to Moonseed Street and check out the small white cottages.

The last of the season, we visited the market today after the fall festival. I assumed it would be…read morecloser to the main circle (near the festival) but it's actually best to drive over rather than walk. There's development nearby. The "houses" are actually cool and people can rent the space for regular selling. But most people were on the border at tables selling their items. Compared to other farmers markets this one is small and offers very little food. A couple of stands offered fruits and veggies, some pumpkins for the season, but only one was cooking food to buy. I didn't spot any meats for sale. One truck was selling flowers (which were gorgeous). Perhaps a pit stop if you're in the area but not yet a destination spot.
