The decor and vibe of the restaurant was well done. Updated and well decorated. The waitress seemed put out we were there, unfortunately she was training another waitress, continuing to train the same bad habits. We had to wait about 10 minutes between each visit she paid to our table. There were a few times I had to get her attention or find her because she kept walking by our table without stopping or acknowledging us. The food looked good and tasted...okay. My wife got pulled pork which was not fresh. It was obviously re-heated from a prior day. Had a weird aftertaste. The best things were the buffalo spring roll appetizer and the milkshakes. The waitress did discount our order due to our dissatisfaction with the food. This was good customer service. The dirty trays were never removed from our table. The trainee could've easily done this since she was hanging out at the bar talking for most of the time. This isn't necessarily her fault. This is a training and management issue. This place should be packed every day it's open. It was less than half full when we were there for dinner. This is probably due to the bad things we experienced. Management needs to step up. You're robbing yourselves, your employees, your owner and your community of something good.

The two terrific places I'd normally recommend are both gone. Think of the Roadhouse as the new man standing and standing only because there isn't much else standing around it! Food is average to above average. Average selection of beer and wine. The service and staff are the weak links in the chain, and, ultimately, why I couldn't give this place a more than 'average' review. The 'bartenders' are anything but. I was a bartender and server for years. The female staff of this place are lazy and more interested in gossip than in their customers. The male members of the staff were busy throughout and seemed much more attentive to their job than worried about anything not related to it. Good for them! I wish one of the men here would have been my bartender rather than the two women who didn't know what Tabasco sauce is or the one who told me that they "just don't have a need to have it!" You're a bar/restaurant and you don't have a need for Tabasco sauce!? If it weren't so sad and true this would be comedic! Bottom line: I'd not go out of my way to come here again. I could recommend many other places to go to in or near this neck of the woods. The Roadhouse is doomed for failure on its current course of mediocrity in both food and service. It thrives now because there is not much else for competition. Once a new player arrives that offers excellent food, outstanding service and a truly welcoming atmosphere the Roadhouse is sure to find itself as a relic left in the dust rather than a prosperous and sought after place to satisfy even the most modest foodie. If I were the Roadhouse owner I'd heed warning and get first your staff under control and go from there. If not, they will surely be the iceberg to your Titanic.

I ordered a Gyro salad, and paid for extra meat. And added feta, and it end up being sliced which was different. All in all everything was pretty decent. It was a bit greasy as another Yelper pointed out. I wish they would have had a little bit more ingredients, like olives and onions and whatnot, that weren't an upcharge but it is what it is. I asked for extra dressing on the side, but didn't get it, BUT I didn't even need it. It was a perfect amount of dressing. The dressing and tzatziki sauce were a little different then What I'm used to, and what I've had all across the country, but it will still good. They actually read my notes and requests, and sent me with utensils and napkins, and omitted the pita bread via my request! Pretty good little spot. I would probably order from them again the next time I am in this region. ***DISCLAIMER*** This pure, uncut, honest review is federally protected under Federal Law by way of Bill #EO14149. The Flavor Bursts are the best! I believe there are 7 flavors but I could be wrong. It's vanilla ice cream with which ever flavor swirled throughout the ice cream. Absolutely delicious... My husband & I go there everyday (except Monday because they're closed on Mondays) for an ice cream date. It's become our little date time away together. My favorite is Black Raspberry. His is Butter Pecan. If you're lucky you get these little pockets of the flavor bursts inside the ice cream. Extra bonus! I believe the other flavors are Strawberry, Root beer, Tropical Orange & Green Apple along with Black Raspberry & Butter Pecan. I'm not sure if I'm missing one or not. The service has always been polite. Depending on what time you go you can either have no wait or a wait. It's hit or miss. You never know but obviously lunch & dinner time are always busy. If you're looking for a great ice cream cone. (Soft serve) Billy Boy is the place to go! They do serve vanilla & chocolate but why get those when you can get a flavor bursts instead?!
