That said, Tyler assessed my system and discovered my pump was cycling frequently, sprinkler heads impacted below the base of the grass, sprinkler heads on the same zone as rotary sprinklers, and some sprinklers were too close to the house. In addition, he addressed my desire to add more heads to the back of my property and provided his professional opinion and advice. Once the assessment was complete and rough estimate of the time and cost, Tyler and Mike performed an irrigation system valve reconfiguration, zone expansion, sprinkler head maintenance, sprinkler head relocation, and installation of two valve boxes. This was a two-day project and I could not be more pleased with the SKILL, PROFESSIONALISM, and EFFICIENCY displayed by Tyler and Mike. The amount of work accomplished in two days could have easily turned into a four-day project. I WILL CALL COASTAL LAWN SPRINKLER FOR ALL OF MY IRRIGATION NEEDS; THIS ORGANIZATION IS A CLASS ACT!!!

They were in such a hurry they left their shovels so I had to call so they could turn around and retrieve. And they never measured to quote the gravel driveway. 4/19 I realized heads had not been adjusted (still pounding neighbor's fence and over shooting). I asked for itemized receipt from them. Didn't get. 4/21 asked for another, told him his truck was leaking oil as multiple large oil stains were left on our driveway (he never offered to come take care of), and I told him I wished the visit had been far less rushed and he had run through the sprinklers with me to discuss adjustments I needed made, as none appeared changed. Still no receipt. 4/24 asked again for paid itemized invoice for the $315 for the 40 min they were here. Didn't get one. 4/26 I messaged asking that we be called. No response. 4/28 got invoice showing we paid $315. Never got quote for driveway. Never got sprinklers adjusted. Paid someone to get the large oil stains off our driveway. He did shut off one zone and cap heads of the other. That's about it. I just don't think it was handled well at all and would not recommend to friends or family based on my experience. I did save our text messages and am just surprised he never followed up (except to text a link to give review- I waited till now so I could be less emotional about it as I was actually quite upset by the whole experience). They lost out on any referrals I might give, additional planned landscape work, and the gravel driveway.

He cleaned the remaining leaves that had accumulated around the azaleas up. The day was gone. He said he would come back the next week and install the fence. He checked in to see if I had gotten the fence and promptly returned to install the fence along with his lovely wife. The fence was installed in that visit. He ripped out all of my components and installed a cheap pump with no filtration. The pump was supposed to be used for a fountain feature. He never got my fountain working which was the reason he was hired. He left knowing the cheap pump he installed did not have enough pressure to work the fountain. He said it needed to build pressure. A week later I started calling and texting to let him know it still was not working and all he will do now is ghost me. No return calls or text. I had to hire another company to come in and replumb my pond. Everything he did was wrong. He knows nothing about ponds or fountain features. He will steal your money and not complete your project. Please do not hire Hunter Gowens for you project. He is an arrogant con man who will steal your money and not complete your job. BUYER BEWARE! CON MAN!! Shame on you Hunter Gowens!!!
