I had a wonderful experience at Outdoor Powersports in Ardmore. My husband and I had shopped for a Yamaha Wolverine X2 from Tennessee to Texas. John Black was able to get us into a Yamaha Wolverine R-Spec for the price we had been quoted for the X2 model elsewhere. We asked John to give us an "out the door price", before we made the drive to Ardmore. We had some bad experiences at other dealerships with the old bait and switch. John even took the time to send us photos of the UTV's we were interested in. When we got down to the signing the papers we realized the the price was even lower than what he had quoted us! The employees at the dealership were friendly and professional. I've been very mindful during this COVID outbreak. It was reassuring to see an employee walking around and disinfecting surfaces. The entire transaction took a little over an hour. Test drive, paper work, cleaning the UTV, and loading it onto our trailer. We were given a swag bag with all kinds of goodies! Been going to this dealer since they have been in business, they have an awesome showroom and an outside lot full of inventory. The sales reps are not pushy to make a sale and if they don't know the answer to a question they find out the information that you're looking for. At the parts counter, you will find a huge display of oils and fluids, another display of wheels and an entire wall full of safety gear. A pretty well stocked parts department that's able to get things super fast (not as fast as an x3 turbo or a Honda talon) but y'all catch the drift! Shady business practices all the way. These people sold us 2 new motorcycles. The Honda was a 2019 CRF450 for the streets. The other was to be a 2020 Yamaha YZ4550. They shipped it the next day. They did not send any paperwork. Finally received papers more than 2 weeks later. These unethical people have marked thru 2019 and put in 2020. Called Yamaha to confirm that it is 2019. They charged $9399 and 750 frt. 9399 is price for a 2020. They refuse to refund the unused bike or to exchange it for what we paid for. Still have not received an owners manual. These people are crooks. They will try to trick you. Brandon was the salesman. Have talked to Joe Garcia sales manager. I have disputed the credit card payment on the Yamaha. read more

DISHONEST TO THE CORE! You will not regret looking for another place to do business! I have purchased several machines from the Ardmore location. The first was a 2020 Yamaha Waverunner and the process was fairly straight forward, although they made me wait an incredibly long time. This was even during a week day and started in the morning. The second purchase was a 2020 Sea Doo Spark 90HP Ace. The price was agreed upon before arriving and when the time came to do the paperwork they gave me 2 payment options. Both payment options were with a much higher interest rate and one payment included an extended warranty which I told my salesman that I did not want. The Sea Doo model that I bought had a special finance rate of 1.9% interest for 36 months. It was pretty straight forward and I told them I would not pay a penny more for machine than what I had already AGREED TO! This is known in the car business as a "Bait & Switch". I was really disgusted with the whole process and so I called over to Jones Powersports in Durant and spoke with the general manager there who gave me a better deal over the phone and told me to head that way and he would have my Sea Doo ready for me. At that point I went to the finance manager's office and told them I had changed my mind on the deal and they could keep their machine. I took my son and we went to grab a burger at McDonald's. While we were there the dealership called back and made a much better deal. I told them that if they would not play any games and give me the new deal I would come back and complete the purchase. I returned and finished the transaction. Keep reading because this is where it gets really shady. While I was finishing the transaction on my Sea Doo I asked about consignment sales and the salesman said that Nick (the store manager) was in charge of consignments and that he would let me know. They asked for pictures and a VIN and I later sent both. The number I asked for on consignment was $10,000 on my Kawasaki Mule. They said that shouldn't be a problem and to bring it up in person. A few days later I brought my Mule to their store. They said their service department had to check it out first to see if it was in good shape. It's a 2019 but OK I thought. They came back a little bit later and said that their service department would have to put more than $600 in reconditioning and replacing faulty parts, wiring, brakes and so forth. I said it is under warranty and there is no way that thing needs brakes but if it needs other repairs it should be covered under the warranty. Then NICK told me that his book value of $11,800 retail with all the accessories was what he thought he might be able to sell it for on a good day and that he could only give me $8,995 for it. I told him I did not want to trade it in I wanted him to sell it on consignment. At his point Nick said that he didn't want it on consignment but would give me the $8,995 on trade in minus the "repairs" that he said were necessary. Fast forward to about a week later, I decided to pull the trigger on a new Honda Pioneer 700-4 Deluxe. I called the dealership and asked Noah if he had one in stock and he said he did. I told him to check and see what kind of price could be negotiated with my Kawasaki Mule as a trade on the Honda. A short while later Noah called back and said that Nick would give $7,900 for the trade in value. REALLY??? It lost $1,100 of value in one week? I then went to another location of OPS (Sherman) and dealt with the manager (Donovan) who gave me the $9,000 for mine and sold his for invoice minus $300 rebate. Bottom line is that the Ardmore location is filled with former car salesman and it shows. Bait & switch, overpriced warranties, hide the interest rates, etc. etc. Before you buy from this location do yourself a big favor and go see someone at Jones PowerSports in Durant or try the Sherman location of OPS. Lastly, be wide awake and KNOW THAT NICK AND HIS CREW WILL PLAY LOTS OF GAMES! read more

SHADY BUSNESS PRACTICES DONT BUY A USED SKI HERE!!!!!!!So found this 2010 RXT-X, and it was such a good deal that I drove 5 hours to get it. (should have known better) It was sold to me as a running ski, and they even had me wait while they changed the oil (which it looks like they didn't ). They told me to hurry back so I could try it out that day and let them know how I liked it. It was a little dirty inside and scratched up, but it started and looked like with a little TLC she would shine. I get back to my house and launch it in the water. I had a hard time getting it to start because of the connection with the key, but I'm thinking there is probably a fix for that. I start it up and go to take off, and it wouldn't really rev. It feels like the power is slipping and it's just not going. I immediately called the dealer, and the finance guy answered. He was like "um sold as is, I'll have to get back to you Tuesday." Same dude that tried to sell me a $900 warranty ( I think they knew it was broken they way they pushed this). When I called to try and peacefully resolve this they yelled at me and were rude and basically told me i was screwed and I should learn to read the contract i signed. They said it was lake ready and its not they lied and want to do nothing to help. I spoke to the owner (total DICK btw) and he told me that my $250 refund was off the table. ( I never got offered one to begin with). So he starts out with all these legal terms and then basically tells me to pound sand. I cant believe I dropped 6k on a ski that doesn't work. Their argument is that if they water-tested all used skis that come in they would have to add 2k more to the price which i think is complete bs. So after a 10 hour drive and 2 calls to here to speak to people I got nothing not even any resolution. STAYYYYY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!! They are all dicks anyway might as well go somewhere nicer. read more

I was having issues with my two Sea Doo's I purchased elsewhere. Took them to a side of the road Sea Doo mechanic in OKC and they ripped me off. Took them to a Sea Doo dealership in OKC (David's Sportsworld) who had them for seven months and did not even look at them. Within one week, Outdoor Powersports called me with a diagnosis for both of them and immediately started work on them. I drove two hours one way to have them worked on and not disappointed. With quality work and excellent service, I recommend them to anyone and will use the in the future. read more

This dealership is very personable! We traded in our SxS with John and we really feel we got a great deal and were taken care of on our new machine we bought. Both Nick and John worked to make sure we got a great deal and had NO EXTRA FEES! That's always a killer on good deals. The only negative I have to say about my overall experience is that I think the communication between departments and the customers needs help. Not sure why the bad reviews, but let me tell you OPA just landed themselves on my top 3 list of excellent vehicle purchase experiences (I've purchased ~15 vehicles in my time). Shout out to Randall (Sales) and Michael (GM) for the top notch experience! This dealership is highly professional, and transparent throughout their sales, financing, and out-the-door experience. I was hesitant to purchase from out of state, but everything was in order and timely for my arrival -- just as promised over the phone. Let's focus on integrity for a moment; SxS's are popular and supply chain is limited right now and in the near term. OPA didn't try to take advantage of the supply/demand dynamic that exists, but offered a fair and competitive price for the vehicle. I like to shop locally, but the DFW area powersports dealers were almost all up-charging for the hard to find utility vehicles. Great job and thanks OPA - I'll be back!!! read more
