After searching online for area furniture stores, Sedlak's caught my eye and I decided to pay them a visit at their Solon location. The store is inconspicuous from the street and more closely resembles a hotel or country club from the outside. Upon walking in I was greeted by a kind lady at a desk and she directed me down a hall to the back of the store. This place is absolutely massive! There are numerous sections, each of which specializes in different home furnishings. The variety is extensive and offers a vast assortment of items. I found the section that has televison stands and after roughly 15 minutes decided on an attractive wood and glass stand with cabinets. I found a sales clerk who was more than helpful and collected my information. She then advised that the stand would be delivered in one piece, which would spare me the time of having to assemble it. She advised that the delivery would be carried out within a week and guided me to the front to submit payment. One I submitted payment, a delivery date was agreed upon for the following Monday (4 days) and I left. Sedlak's contacted me the day prior to the scheduled delivery to confirm. On the day of the delivery, two Sedlak's professionals contacted me upon arrival and I let them in. They carefully setup the stand and were even kind enough to place the television on it. The stand is of inpeccable quality and the customer service was top tier! I am happy with my purchase and would definitely buy from them again!

We returned to the showroom for another project and were honestly shocked by the experience. Multiple employees were sitting at their desks without any customers, scrolling on their phones--one clearly on Facebook--yet we were told we could not be helped because we didn't have an appointment and would need to come back the next day. In a retail showroom. While staff were visibly doing nothing. This level of arrogance and indifference toward customers is astounding. We made an appointment and returned the next day. Made our purchase. The service didn't improve after the sale either. One of the faucets we purchased from Ferguson--around $500--turned out to be defective when our plumber installed it. Because of the timeline of the remodel, it had been about 90 days since the order. I reached out to Ferguson for help with the return or replacement and was completely ghosted after they said "we will reach out to manufacturer to see if there is anything that can be done'. No follow-up, no assistance, no accountability. If you read the other reviews online, this seems to be a pattern. Ferguson appears very eager to sell expensive products but far less interested in standing behind them when they sell a defective product. Ironically, you'll often get better customer service from Amazon and a chatbot - or even at Burger King -than you will from the people working in this showroom. I'm aware that Ferguson has acquired build.com and has consolidated the industry, but please understand consumers still have options. Our time is valuable and we had selected Ferguson for what we thought would be ease of order and attentive service with no regard for price whatsoever. Ordered them on a Monday afternoon and the install team got it all done on Wednesday. I thought I might have been able to do this myself. After watching the three pros mount the TV on the wall after installing two gang boxes and clean up all the wires, I was blown away. The final step was optimization of the sound and pumping up the rear surrounds which were always a bit light based on the factory settings. They also made the most of my cable universal remote and renamed the HDMI inputs so it is much more user friendly.
