David was able to schedule my job in a reasonable time frame and arrived on time the day of the job. He reviewed the list of repairs I had, and we together determined which ones could be completed within my budget for this day of work. David inspected, removed, and re-installed an existing toilet with a new hybrid toilet seal, snaked a bathroom sink, replaced the trap and seals, installed a new bathroom sink faucet, and also installed three new porcelain lamp holders w/switches in my basement. David also assisted me in selecting the new faucet for the bathroom. David was upfront about pricing and completed the tasks efficiently. He also gave me sound recommendations for a future job replacing a garbage disposal and lighting fixture. I really appreciate the time David took to explain options, give advice and provide recommendations as well as excellent service on the tasks he completed. David is professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I look forward to using Your Home Handyman in the future.

This is an unbelievably professional company. Frank and his office manager set the tone of…read moreprofessionalism from the start. We recruited powerON electric to install a 220 junction box for a hot tub. Frank carefully inspected everything, considered the best way to complete the job, offered different options that may account for future additions, and then gave us an extremely competitive quote. I'll also point out that his quote was substantially lower than a company who was recommended by the place selling the hot tub. The workmanship, efficiency, and final product were truly outstanding. We've owned many homes and dealt with multiple contractors so we really can tell the difference when we see somebody like this. I would also like to add that Frank was incredibly careful going to work in the COVID era with full respiratory protection and contact precautions. I highly recommend PowerOn electric. I'm absolutely amazed I have not seen any reviews on here yet but found them to be highly recommended on other websites.

He stopped by on his way home from the hospital after his wife just gave birth to his child a couple hours after I spoke with him. Without asking for payment, Christian climbed on the roof of the house and disconnected the wires to make sure they were safe and then would have a very reasonable estimate ready for me that day. He started work almost immediately and worked around my schedule. He was always on time and professional, and the work was completed quickly and perfectly. Highly recommend.

Fast forward a week (and I'm now on vacation) and I'm informed my garage has water seeping from under the garage door. Yep, a loose fitting came apart and water was running freely for a couple of days. My daughter came over and shut the pump off. They are unwilling to help with repairs after sharing my concerns and shock. So to you my friends, think on these set of facts before calling.

I can't comment on the work, but I had a very poor customer service experience with this company. I…read morecontacted them, explained what I wanted done and scheduled an appointment. I found them on a search site, and saw that there was a reasonable service fee to come out for an estimate. I had to cancel the appointment due to other work being done at the house that took longer than expected. I called recently and rescheduled the appointment. Again I explained what I wanted done, and it seemed the guy understood what I was asking. I scheduled an appointment for today at noon. I asked the price of the service call, and he told me they did not charge a service call. Okay great...I was sure I saw a small service fee initially, but no fee works too. I just received a call this morning from a guy at XH asking what I wanted done. I was confused, because I assumed professionals took notes on these things. I explained again what I wanted, and after being told in the previous conversation that they needed to come out for an estimate, today he rattled off a price of $650 without seeing anything. I was shocked, because I had a couple other estimates for less than a third of the cost, but they were booked way out, and I wanted this done soon. So I mentioned this to the guy, and he said yes you should go with that, because that's what we charge just to come out. I said, "what is your charge for coming out...the $200 I was quoted by the other guys?" There is no $200 dollar service charge listed anywhere on their website, I was told there was no service charge when I scheduled the appointment, and no electrician is charging $200 for a service call. I don't know why this guy or this company decided they didn't want my business, but clearly that was the case. He correctly expected me to say no thanks when he quoted me a price of $650. I will assume I dodged a bullet on this one.
